Continuity mistake: When it looks like Alex is dead in Dan's bath, she has a long strand of blood coming out of her mouth, but a second later it's gone, and her eyes, which were white, are no longer white - they are open and look like normal eyes.

Continuity mistake: When Molly is in space, alone, a man she knew is on The Other Side of a door that has a circular window in it. The man uses his finger to draw the words "HELP ME." When we first see the words, they are legible and about a third of the way below the top of the window, but the next time the words are much higher up and hard to read, and the third time they are now back to the original place.

Trivia: When Luke escapes for, maybe, the second time, the music used (Lalo Schifrin's "Tar Sequence" theme) is the exact same music that is used for the opening few minutes of Sydney, Australia's Channel 9 news service, as well as many other news stations in the US and worldwide.

Continuity mistake: While Cary Grant and Audrey Hepburn are on a boat going down the Seine, they have two drinks in front of them on the table. The problem is: the drinks keep changing, from full, to two-thirds full, then back to full again, both of them, over and over.

Trivia: Jacqueline Bisett's voice is partially dubbed in this film by someone else. There was so much background noise that her voice just had to be dubbed, and she had left the country to film something else, so wasn't available to record it herself.

Continuity mistake: While the two eldest boys are getting ready to sail around the island, Francis, the youngest boy, is playing with Rocky, the baby elephant. Francis is on Rocky's back, but in one shot, they are on the beach, near the water, and in the next shot, they are so far in the water that Rocky has to use his trunk as a snorkel.

Continuity mistake: When Laura finds the hammer with blood and hair on it, Rosemary finds the constable and tells him where the hammer is. When we first see the constable's car, it's in a ditch. But when he gets into it and drives away, it's no longer in the ditch, but beside the road.

Continuity mistake: At Charles' wedding, when he's thinking about not going ahead with the wedding, the top button of his waistcoat is visible, but, seconds later, it's gone.

Continuity mistake: After they find Private Ryan, Tom Hanks and Tom Sizemore are talking. From one angle, Sizemore has his right hand out as he gesticulates, but from a different angle - the different angles come and go - he has his right hand on his rifle, which is in his lap.

Continuity mistake: When Robert Wagner falls, halfway up the mountain, Spencer Tracy's rope, which is attached to Wagner, runs through his hands, making them bleed, but, finally, he gets a grip and he pulls Wagner up. As we see Tracy's rope, as it slowly comes up, but there is no blood on it.

Continuity mistake: When Tom, as Dickie, rents a place in Rome, and after Tom kills Freddie, the police are all over him. Marge comes calling and Tom, as Dickie, asks the policeman to ask her to come back later, which leaves Tom alone with the detective. But as we see Marge creeping up the stairs, to see Dickie, suddenly, the policeman is with Tom and the detective, even though the policeman had left and Tom had closed the doors, so the policeman should not have been there.

Continuity mistake: Dickie's extra lover, Silvana, turns up dead, during a religious ceremony, and before anyone can get to her, she is face down, but when they do get to her, she is face up, without anyone touching her or from choppy water - the water is flat, no chop.
