Red Dragon (2002)

Other mistake: Looking at a close-up of Ralph Fiennes make-up for his cleft lip/palate, there is a scar from his left lip to his left nostril, but there is a gap in the middle, which should definitely not be there. Once an incision is made, that's it, there is no reason to stop in the middle. In other shots of his face there are no gaps.

What Lies Beneath (2000)

Continuity mistake: When Claire is in the bath, paralysed from the drug Norman gave her, and the water is rushing in, her head changes position: At first, her head is below the waterline, and then it is above the waterline - then Norman slips and hits his head - and then her mouth, nose and eyes are below the waterline.

What Lies Beneath (2000)

Continuity mistake: When Claire hears her neighbour crying, she calls out to her, and the startled woman dashes off to the left, so Claire (of course) dashes off to the right, but, when we next see the neighbour, she is at the right.

What Lies Beneath (2000)

Trivia: There are quite a few close-up scenes filmed through glass, on the floor, with the camera on the bottom side and the actors on the top side. For example, when Claire is paralysed, Norman bends down and talks to her before picking her up and carrying her upstairs - when they are downstairs, Claire is lying on glass with the camera filming her from below.

What Lies Beneath (2000)

Revealing mistake: After Claire and Norman drop their daughter off at school, that night, Norman is in bed with his laptop, typing, but not once do his fingers touch the space bar.

Continuity mistake: When Lee and Scott are in the hot tub, Lee's champagne glass is in his left hand, then it's in his right.

The Keep (1983)

Trivia: When Alberta Watson and Scott Glenn are together for the first time, in the inn's spare bedroom, there is a mirror on the wall that shows Alberta's reflection but not Scott's, and Scott is standing between her and the mirror.

The Guardian (2006)

Continuity mistake: When the new recruit and the teacher go into the water together, for a rescue, at one stage, one of them is going straight ahead to the cave, like he's supposed to, but the other one is heading right, which is completely wrong; but then, somehow, they're together again.

Man of Steel (2013)

Continuity mistake: When Clark first wears the Superman costume, he steps out onto the ice and his cloak wraps around his right leg, but, a second later, his cloak is billowing behind him.

Man of Steel (2013)

Continuity mistake: When Lois and Clark are in the desert, facing each other, Lois's hair is in a ponytail, with two wisps at the front free. From the front view, her left wisp is far behind her ear, and in the behind shot, the wisp is covering her ear.

Trivia: In the film, The Birdman never actually kept birds at Alcatraz; he kept them at other prisons, but not Alcatraz.

kh1616

Continuity mistake: The female teacher who is reading the poem by Wordsworth, which has the line 'splendour in the grass' in it, has her glasses in her hand, which then suddenly appear on her face.

kh1616

Continuity mistake: At the end, Norman and Claire are in the truck, which smashed into the river. Norman has less blood on his face than in the next shot, where he has a lot.

Question: Another entry says "… his name is in the rip portion of the credits." What is the "rip portion of the credits"?

kh1616

Chosen answer: The closing credits for both Kill Bill moves included a short list of deceased directors, writers and actors, under the title "R.I.P.", meaning "Rest In Peace": Charles Bronson, Chang Cheh, Kinji Fukasaku, Lo Lieh, Shintaro Katsu, William Witney, Sergio Corbucci, Lucio Fulci, Sergio Leone, and Lee Van Cleef.

THGhost

Continuity mistake: Oren is in the back of a limo, with all six motorbikes ahead of her, after the final two have moved up from the back to the front, but when we see a shot of Oren, in the limo, there are four headlights behind the limo, the way it was before the bikes moved up.

Continuity mistake: Dan plays the tape that Alex made in his car. He stops the tape when he gets home, and after he gives his daughter a pet rabbit, he goes to his den and puts the tape in the tape recorder and presses play - that's all; he doesn't rewind it - but what he hears is the same bit he heard in the car, which is wrong; the tape should have started play where it left off in the car.

kh1616

Trivia: After Alex takes Dan's daughter for an hour or two, and Beth has a car accident, as she frantically searches for her daughter, Dan rushes over to Alex's place to kill her, but he has enough sense not to, and, in a Hitchcock way, the camera zooms in on a very large knife that Dan puts down on a ledge, with know-it-alls yelling, "It has your fingerprints on it," he walks away. The original ending had Alex killing herself with the knife that has Dan's fingerprints on it and Dan going to jail for Alex's murder. When they showed this version to a test group, all of them yelled and screamed so much that they had to change the ending.

Fatal Attraction (1987)

Continuity mistake: When Dan throws Alex into the bath, she goes in face down, but suddenly she is face up - which would be a difficult manoeuvre in a small bath.
