Continuity mistake: From the viewpoint of a boat behind Dickie's boat "The Bird", when Dickie gives the tiller to Freddie, so he can go below with Marge, there's hardly any wind, both sails are flapping around, but when we get the view from midships, the front sail, which was on the starboard side, is now, suddenly, on the port side and full of wind, no flapping around at all.

The Thing (1982)

Other mistake: When Blair goes crazy with an axe, they put him in the tool shed and Doc injects him with something to calm him down. The problem is: Doc injects him in the inner elbow, but wipes the upper arm as if that's where the injection went. Plus you only inject in the inner elbow when you want something IV, but there was no tourniquet, no searching for a vein. It should have been given IM, into a muscle, like the upper arm.

Continuity mistake: Liberace's mother is playing a poker machine at her son's house, with Matt Damon watching. She puts the money in and pulls the lever and waits to see if she has won. She does this over and over, but one time she puts the money in, she doesn't pull the lever, but even so the machine goes through its motions.

Swords into Ploughshares - S2-E7

Continuity mistake: Near the end, the girls find a big box, filled with antiquities, buried in Lord Engleton's lawn. Laura's jacket changes from before digging, to having found the box, and then back to the first one as they carry the box away.

Orpheus in the Undergrowth - S2-E2

Plot hole: At the very end, Julia calls Matt, a policeman, at Helena's place, to tell him to come and help his mother and Rosemary who are being held against their will. But Matt doesn't have a mobile, so how did Julia know he was at Helena's place, so she could ring him there and save the day? No-one knew he was at Helena's and it's the middle of the night. Matt should have been in bed asleep.

Racquet Espanol - S3-E7

Audio problem: When everyone is leaving the restaurant and walking down the street, some are going off for a night cap, Rosemary says she can't go because she has to work tomorrow. But her words and her mouth are out of sync, as are the others to a lesser degree.

The Abyss (1989)

Character mistake: When Bud is doing mouth-to-mouth on Lindsay, he's not pinching her nose closed, so all the air he's breathing in is going straight out her nose.

Rosemary & Thyme (2003)

The Gooseberry Bush - S3-E6

Question: I have watched this episode probably 30 times - I watch it in bed, to put me to sleep - and I don't understand the plot at all, unless it is just an excuse so Rosemary and Laura have to deal with a baby. Is there anyone out there who watches this show besides me? If there is, can you please tell me what this episode is all about?

The Gooseberry Bush - S3-E6

Continuity mistake: After the girls have seen the site of their next job, Rosemary hands Laura the keys to the Rover. Laura has a bag over her right shoulder. When she climbs into the Rover and closes the door, the shoulder strap of her bag vanishes.

Orpheus in the Undergrowth - S2-E2

Other mistake: When Rosemary comes back from seeing her old college professor, she comes in from the garden, but Julia's place - this is where Rosemary and Laura are staying - is on the first floor; there's no access to her place from the garden. Rosemary should have gone to the front door, on the street.

In a Monastery Garden - S3-E2

Other mistake: When the old well needs filling in, for safety reasons, Ryan is breaking up bricks. If you are filling up a well, first, you'd need lots of bricks and stones, heaps more than Ryan's small pile, and, two, why does Ryan have to break up the bricks? They're going into the well - it doesn't matter if they are big or small.

Rosemary & Thyme (2003)

In a Monastery Garden - S3-E2

Continuity mistake: The windowpane that is broken by the thief is in a door that desperately needs a good paint job. It's the door that leads outside and to a small room full of plants, a veranda of sorts. But when Laura looks at the door, she's looking at the inner door, which looks like it has just been painted, and, in the morning, the broken pane is covered up by a piece of wood, but, again, it's the inner door, which is totally wrong. It's the outer door's window pane that was broken.

The Deep (1977)

Continuity mistake: The first night David and Gail spend at Treece's, Gail walks into the bedroom with a glass of rum in her hand. David is in bed, sitting up, topless. Gail sits on the bed, David moves down and starts kissing her back through her clothes. She lies down and he pulls her up the bed and turns her over - the glass of rum has vanished.

The Deep (1977)

Revealing mistake: At the beginning, when Gail is attacked by a moray eel - we don't see it, but that's the assumption - and she is banged against the sunken wreck of a ship, and then, when she is released, her mouthpiece is not in her mouth and she tries to swim to the top as fast as she can - all of this is done by a stunt double, understandably, we can see this by her hair, which is much thinner and straighter than Jacqueline Bissett's hair.

The Deep (1977)

Continuity mistake: When David and Gail go to see Treece, the first time, the clock on the wall says twenty to twelve, but, after only a minute or two, the clock now reads thirteen to twelve.
