Revealing mistake: When the three Civics are hijacking the truck at the end you see inside Letty's Civic which is basically stock. When she goes off the road and rolls you see the inside is stripped and has a full rollcage. (01:24:20)

Continuity mistake: Close to the end when we see Brian in his orange car speeding down the road, if you notice Leon parked his car on the side of the road, but when it cuts to a front view of the road when we see Brian's car pass the camera, Leon's car has vanished. (01:21:25)

Continuity mistake: Near the end when they have the 3 black cars, Dom is trying to get Vince off the semi-trailer truck. In some shots we see the stunt driver's brown long sleeve, but other shots we see Dom wearing a white short sleeved shirt. (01:23:21)

Continuity mistake: In the last scene with the three black Civics, the spoiler on the car Dom is driving is different at the beginning of the scene (when Vince jumps off the back for example) than at the end (when he spins out). (01:21:44)

Continuity mistake: In the scene of the "race wars" when Jesse runs against the Johnny Tran's Honda S2000, at the moment when Jesse pushes his NOS button, his car has a red racing steering wheel, maybe a MOMO wheel, and three gauges on the "A column" (at the left of the windshield column) of his Jetta. When the shot changes to Jesse when he says "ha," the red MOMO wheel becomes in a grape Jetta wheel without NOS buttons and the gauges disappear from the car. (01:13:05)

Continuity mistake: During the final hijacking scene, Dom pulls in front of the truck so Vince can get pull out the passenger side windshield with his harpoon gun. However, if you look closely right before Vince shoots his gun for the first time, you can see that the passenger side windshield is not even there. The glare coming off of the driver side windshield makes it very easy to see the difference between the two. (01:21:19)

Continuity mistake: In the scene in which Jesse is shot watch his legs. In the first shot his left leg is crossed and under his right leg. In the second shot both his legs are stretched before him. (01:31:27)

Visible crew/equipment: At the end of the third act, when Diesel and Walker line up at the lights to drag the quarter mile beside the train tracks, you'll notice the reflection of two crew members appear in the back of the side view mirror of the Charger as they approach it to get the steadicam close-up of Diesel telling Walker that on green, he's going for it. (01:31:35)

Revealing mistake: There is a scene near the end of the movie, where Brian is chasing Johnny and Lance on motorcycles that just shot his friend. At one point, first the motorcycles, and then the car leap over a hill on the street. You can see two ramps at the top of the hill, one for each motorcycle. (01:32:50)

Continuity mistake: When Brian and Roman are at the car impound, Brian is searching inside the Ferrari, and Roman says "Look in the center." Roman is holding onto the side of the car and looking away from Brian, yet in the following shot he is now holding onto the top of the car and is looking directly at Brian. (00:32:50)

Continuity mistake: In the car chase scene towards the end of the film, Brian is not wearing his seat belt in close-ups, yet in the outside-the-car shots, the driver has his seat belt on. (01:17:00)

Continuity mistake: The smudges and blood-stains on Dom's shirt in the end change a lot during the scene. (01:25:50)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where Brian is chasing Johnny Tran, he stops the car and shoots Johnny. Johnny spins out and falls off the bike. While he falls off the bike you can see a shopping cart on the side of the road, but when Brian runs over to see if he is dead, the cart is gone. (01:34:15)

Visible crew/equipment: Near the end, in a shot of Monica and the baddie (just before they get onto the boat) standing beside a large vehicle, the camera is quite close and then it tracks backwards. The reflection of the legs of the steadicam operator walking backwards as he moves the camera, is seen at the side of the car. (01:27:50)

Continuity mistake: Close to the end, when Brian and Roman are driving to meet Verone in Roman's car, Roman has his arm out the window, yet in the following shot its not out the window. (01:24:55)

Revealing mistake: When Suki and Tej are being booked for speeding when they took Brian's and Roman's cars, the police officer next to them should be writing on his notepad, but instead the words are already written and he is just moving the pen over these words. (01:24:25)

Continuity mistake: When Tej and Suki get stopped, they both get out of the cars, and Tej's door remains open in one shot and is closed in the following shot. (01:23:25)

Continuity mistake: When the Evo and the Eclipse enter the highway, after Brian and Rome loaded up their cars with the bags of money, Brian shifts into third gear and later fourth gear. The Evo has the aftermarket Momo pedals installed, but after the Evo gets shot with the ESD from the helicopter, and when Brian tries to hold down the gas with his foot, the pedals in the Evo are the stock ones. (01:18:30)

Continuity mistake: When Brian Roman and two of Verone's guys are at the trailer park close to the end, on the road through the trailer park there is a speed bump, yet when Roman sets the Dodge off on its own, there is a view of the road again, and the speed bump has vanished. (01:14:05)
