Lucifer (2015)

Sweet Kicks - S1-E5

Character mistake: Benny tells Lucifer he's an ex-marine. I beleive it's the case that US Marines never refer to themselves as an ex-marine, with the quote often used as being "once a marine, always a marine" (00:09:20)

Suggested correction: First off, it was Hector who said he was an ex-Marine, not Benny. But just because someone goes against the cultural norm doesn't make it a mistake. There are a lot of Marines who refer to themselves as former or ex - Marines for various reasons.

Supernatural (2005)

Wendigo - S1-E2

Character mistake: Dean introduces himself to Hailey as Dean. When he shows his ID the fake name says Samuel. Hailey is suspicious of them and would have picked up on that. (00:08:45)

London Has Fallen (2016)

Character mistake: The news reporter at the start of the film states an autopsy will take place in the next 48 hours. British reporters use the terminology "Post Mortem" not autopsy. (00:09:50)

Olympus Has Fallen mistake picture

Character mistake: When we see the first news footage of the White House, the headline is captioned "Terrorist Attack The White House." It should read "Terrorist Attack On The White House" or "Terrorists Attack The White House". (00:36:40)

Criminal Minds (2005)

Poison - S1-E13

Character mistake: Reid makes the statement that the amount of LSD the victims had in their system was enough to kill a small child. However, there is no evidence to suggest a lethal dose is known to scientists. (00:04:50)

12:00 Midnight-1:00 A.M. - S1-E1

Character mistake: When Jack subdues Mason he proceeds to check his pulse to check Mason is still alive. When taking the pulse however Jack uses his thumb. This is not how a pulse is checked, as the thumb has it's own pulse and would therefore give Jack's pulse instead of Mason's. Being ex-Delta Jack would know this and not make the simple mistake. Character mistake: Chris explains about the APV being behind the door and specifically states it has 16 wheels. When we see the APV it has 4 wheels on each side. Meaning 8 in total. For it to have 16 wheels as stated, all the wheels will have to be doubled up. However its clear that at least 2 separate wheels are single. Since Chris is right with everything else he has said in regards to the prison, there's no reason he would be wrong about this one thing. (00:56:00)

In Time (2011)

Character mistake: When travelling between zones, they go 12 - 10 - 9 - 8 - 7 - 5 - 4. Which is the only route you can take that includes zone 8 as shown. This is silly as there are quicker routes such as 12 - 7 - 5 - 4.

Suggested correction: Actually, When Pelant is leaving for Egypt, he gives Brennan a flower to communicate grief and loss, so Pelant did in fact communicate with flowers.

It is implied that he communicated frequently with flowers. Which he did not.

Ssiscool

Actually, this is what is accurately said 'Exactly what Pelant used to use to send a message' in reference to the flowers, if it were 'what Pelant used to send "messages" then yes, your point would be more accurate. Yet the wording suggests that it was 'a' message he sent, not plural, single. Which he did.

The X-Files (1993)

Pilot - S1-E1

Character mistake: The officer is called to the victim in the woods and is shown the 2 burn marks on her back. He then proceeds to touch the skin on the burn marks, thus compromising evidence as he isn't wearing gloves. (00:01:40)

Prison Break (2005)

Buried - S2-E7

Character mistake: Mahone is very smart and meticulous, similar to Schofield. He has a good knowledge of forensics as shown throughout the show. However he shoots Tweener, and places the gun in his hands after shooting him. He would know that the blood on Tweeners hands would show he wasn't holding the gun when he was killed due to blood spatter behind behind the weapon. (00:40:20)
