Corrected entry: When Bridget and Daniel are in the convertible going to the country for the weekend, her scarf flies off. If you look carefully in the wide shot, you can see a crew member's hand in the backseat pulling it off and then tossing the scarf to the back of the convertible to fly away. (00:32:00)

Correction: I've seen this part in slow-mo, frame by frame and it's impossible to see a hand anywhere. Maybe a faint shadow resembling a hand for a frame. In any case, at regular speed, you can't possibly see it.

Corrected entry: There is a scene where Marlene is frantically driving. They show her from the side without a cigarette and without any cigarette in either of her hands. then they show out the front windshield so that you can just see her empty hands holding the steering wheel. When they cut back to her a face she has a miracle cigarette in her mouth. (01:16:00)

Correction: She does hold the cigarette with her left hand. Angle cuts to a close-up of her right hand (which means that, off-screen, she would be using her left hand to take the cigarette to her mouth). Then it cuts to a wide angle where the cigarette appears. No mistake here.

Superman II (1980)

Correction: This scene is made using footage from several auditions. It was never intended to be a finished movie-scene but was used to help fans see how Richard Donner wanted Superman II to be like. That's the whole point of the Donner cut: Replacing the missing bits with outtakes, auditions and whatever scrap material is available as long as people have an idea of how the movie would have looked like had Donner [instead of Richard Lester] finished it.

Ghostbusters 2 (1989)

Corrected entry: Near the end of the movie, the Ghostbusters are controlling the Statue of Liberty through the streets of New York City. At one point, the statue accidentally steps on a parked police car, smashing it seemingly beyond repair. However, it is fairly easy to notice that the police car is "changed" from a real one to a model right before the statue's foot comes down on it. Slow motion and/or pausing is NOT needed to see this. It is clear that a (bad) edit was put into place here. The primary tell is that the car's lights go off a split second BEFORE the statue's foot makes contact with it.

Brittle Fingers

Correction: I've watched this scene in slo-mo over and over again. The car is NOT replaced, and the lights do NOT turn off. The car does become slightly pale and a thick black line appears around it, but that is because of the blue screen effect. The car is always the same.

Corrected entry: Mr. Brown is sleeping on the bench in the train station. There is one shot of him just wearing sunglasses in his collar. The next shot shows that he is now wearing a spotted collar and sunglasses.

Tank

Correction: There are no sunglasses and no change whatsoever throughout the scene.

Goldfinger (1964)

Corrected entry: After Goldfinger has been sucked out of the plane, and it is diving as Bond makes his way to the cockpit, there is a man lying on the floor in the cabin who was not previously in this scene. Where did he appear from, as the only people in the cabin were Bond and Goldfinger? This scene has obvously had something edited out.

Correction: The man is always there, perfectly visible, and has a noticeable afro: Behind Goldfinger when he opens the curtains, and next to Goldfinger when he fights against Bond.

Corrected entry: When Old Biff hands Young Biff the Almanac, the book passes through the film split (the vertical bar that divides the windshield) perfectly because it was on a motorized rig. But the stand-in for Old Biff didn't hold his arm at the right height, so Old Biff's arm disappears into the bar that runs down the middle of the window while the book floats across to Young Biff.

Correction: No it doesn't. The arm is below the windshield, that is why it can't be seen. The tip of the hand is perfectly visible, with no missing parts.

Spider-Man 2 (2004)

Corrected entry: In the opening scene of the film when we see Peter almost hit his pizza boss, if you slow this part down you can see in one shot, Peter's boss has his hands wide open, and in the following shot he is checking his wristwatch. (00:03:20)

The-Immortal

Correction: Slow-motion not allowed for such subtle mistakes, according to MM's rules.

Men in Black (1997)

Corrected entry: When the rear of the truck explodes after Will Smith shoots it, the pipes that feed the scene with smoke can be seen just above the kerbstones. (01:03:55)

Correction: Already submitted and listed as #86084: "In the scene after J shoots the exterminator van off of the tow truck he shoots again. When the camera clips to the tow truck driving away, you can see the smoke generators emitting smoke from the curb."

The Joneses (2009)

Corrected entry: In the scene where the Joneses are welcoming the first neighbours into their house, Steve gives one of his neighbours a beer. The neighbour says, "This beer is really good, it really hits the spot". But he hasn't even opened the beer, let alone tasted it.

Correction: False: Larry takes a sip, then says he likes the beer. It's totally reasonable.

Ghostbusters 2 (1989)

Corrected entry: During the entire scene where the Statue of Liberty is just outside of the museum, a green screen can be seen in the background anytime there is a closeup of one of the actors in the statue.

Correction: It is not a green screen, the inside of the statue is actually green.

Superman II (1980)

Corrected entry: During the street battle Superman throws Zod into the Coke sign, but it explodes before he even hits it.

Correction: The scene takes place so fast that it gives that feeling, but if you watch it in slo-mo you'll notice that Zod's leg touches the neon, which creates a small short circuit explosion that ends up affecting the whole sign, resulting in a bigger explosion.

Corrected entry: Several times during the film, there are long shots that show a boat moving through the water, followed by close-ups of the boat in which it's obvious that the boat is quite still.

Correction: Too vague: There are many types of boats in the movie and a whole lot of water scenes.

Sacha

Corrected entry: This movie takes place in L.A. You must be at least 21 to have a motorcycle licence in California. I'm pretty sure John isn't 21.

Jack Kaltenbach

Correction: A kid that steals money from ATMs is not likely to care whether he has a license or not.

Sacha

I agree he doesn't care. Not to mention John is supposed to be 10 at the time of the movie and the actor himself (Furlong) is only 13, so he didn't have any sort of license.

Bishop73

Also, John was riding a dirt bike, which is illegal to ride on public roadways regardless of the age of the rider, rather than a street-legal motorcycle. And, as Sacha said, John is hardly a law-abiding 10-year-old, as evidenced when the T-1000 uses the police car's computer and finds John's extensive police record.

Spider-Man 3 (2007)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Peter goes to tell his aunt he is going to marry MJ, she is serving him tea and goes to get milk out of the fridge. It happens fast, but if you watch, she actually pulls Tropicana Orange juice out, then the next shot, she is shown pouring milk for the tea, there is no orange juice on the table or any need for it in tea.

Correction: No, she has Tuscan milk all the time.

Superman II (1980)

Correction: This is too vague. There are many flying scenes where wires aren't visible at all because a chroma was used. The trick is to point out where exactly you've seen them.

Some Like It Hot (1959)

Corrected entry: In the scenes where we alternately see Curtis with Monroe on the yacht and Lemmon with Brown dancing rhumba, a swish-pan (fast horizontal panning) is used to link the two situations with the cut in the middle. During these you can clearly see light and stage equipment.

Correction: The stage and lights you see belong to the stage where the tango actor-musicians are playing. It's part of the movie.

Trainspotting (1996)

Corrected entry: In the 4:3 version on dvd, when Renton hallucinates the baby, when there's a shot from behind the baby, just under it you can see a bit of the device used to pull it along.

Correction: The baby's head movement, the shape of his body and the track to pull him along are all meant to look like a robot, like something weird and creepy, therefore underlining the fact that Renton is hallucinating.
