Revealing mistake: When Chandler grabs his bag he accidentally lets the box full of wedding china fall off the stool. Watch closely (play in slow-motion). The box falls on the floor and shattered china falls out. The china was ALREADY broken before it falls on the ground.(00:23:00)
Corrected entry: When Homer falls asleep in the car, he hits the dashboard with his fist, and the airbag pops out. If you watch in slow motion though, he doesn't hit anything at all.(00:19:30)
Revealing mistake: When Keung hits the mobster in the face with the football helmet, you can see his bruise appear a split second prior to contact. You can see it better in slow-mo.
Revealing mistake: During big gun fight to the house, if you watch in slow mo, a lot of the Zombies aren't attacking anything or anyone. They just appear to be running around randomly, or standing there like they're not sure what to do.
Other mistake: This happens after the scene when Gary Busey and the woman he is helping have a chat on his boat. They walk out on the boardwalk and Gary Busey tries a flamboyant maneuver where he jumps over the railing. If you slow-mo the film or go scene-by-scene you'll find that right after he lands and before the scene cuts Gary Busey yells out in pain. Looking further into the picture, you'll see Gary Busey's legs are almost horizontal before he lands, making for a very painful impact.
Corrected entry: During the fight at the river pirates land base, Jimmy Stewart throws a small keg of gunpowder at a fire. Seconds later there is a very large explosion. Frame by frame slow motion reveals that the keg hits the log behind the fire and totally shatters spilling its contents over the fire and nearly putting it out. Had the keg contained gunpowder it would have instantly caught fire.
Correction:If you need slow-motion to spot it, then it's not a mistake per this site's rules.
Corrected entry: After Seth Brundle has gone through his final stage of metamorphosising into the Brundlefly, he throws Ronnie (Geena Davis) into one telepod and then starts to make his way across the lab towards the other one. Watch as he emerges from behind a wooden pillar, there's one shot where a crew member's arm is seen reaching inside the back of the Brundlefly puppet, to move the creature's head. You'll need to slow-mo to see it but it's there. (As per the rules of this site, visible crew members is an acceptable use of slow motion.)
Continuity mistake: In the first shot of the diner as the girls are waiting for Carrie to arrive, the baby photo of Charlotte's daughter is not visible on the table. When Carrie comes in, there is a clear shot of the entire table, and the baby photo is still nowhere in sight. But in the shot where Carrie sits down at the table with the girls, the baby photo is suddenly sitting upright on the table near Charlotte, and fully visible. There was no time for this to happen, as they are just sitting down. Carrie is still hugging her friends (Charlotte) at the table.(00:41:40)
Suggested correction:The scene doesn't take place in real time. When they hug each other at the door the food has not been served. After the hugging it cuts to all four seated and the breakfast already on the plates, with the picture in sight. Therefore, they had plenty of time to see the menu, order, wait for their food and, of course, place the picture on the table.
Continuity mistake: In one of the deleted scenes for this episode, Carrie has to take her laptop out of her purse in order to make room for the garment. She throws the laptop on the bed, with the 'Apple' symbol facing down. But just after that, the laptop is shown lying on the bed with the 'Apple' symbol facing up. To my knowledge, there is no 'Apple' logo on the bottom of the laptop.
Continuity mistake: When the horse drawn buggy is pulling over to the curb in front of the hospital, you can see it dodging traffic and cars. But after Carrie leaves and the buggy pulls away with only Mr. Big, suddenly there are no cars or traffic in sight. The entire street from that direction appears to be completely empty.(00:22:50)
Suggested correction:It is not dodging traffic: There are just a couple of cars next to the buggy. She steps off, talks to Big and then he leaves and we get to see two seconds of an empty part of the street. Nothing wrong here.
Continuity mistake: Right before the '3-way'; Samantha takes off the top of her lingerie/dress and pushes it down to her waist, to reveal a strapless black bra she is wearing underneath. She does this in response to the younger girl removing her top, and they are both obviously getting ready for the main event. But in the next shot when Samantha is kissing Richard in bed, she is suddenly wearing the black lingerie/dress pulled back up over her shoulders again. Why would she put the dress back on, after removing it for sex?(00:23:10)
Suggested correction:That shot of her wearing the dress in bed is not immediate. She could have been foreplaying or he could have asked her to keep the dress on.
Continuity mistake: When Mr. Big comes up to the cabin to talk to Carrie, he isn't wearing glasses. After he drinks too much wine, they decide he has to stay the night at the cabin. Aiden throws him a pillow and blanket. Right when the blanket hits Mr. Big as he is sitting in the chair, you can suddenly see what look like some sort of metal frame glasses hanging vertically/falling off from Mr. Big's face, as if they were knocked off by the blanket. Where did the glasses come from? He wasn't wearing them just before that.(00:24:40)
Revealing mistake: When Samantha and Maria are in the bath tub arguing; Samantha decides to leave, and suddenly gets up out of the water. She is not wearing anything from the waist up; but if you look closely just at the end of the scene, you can briefly see that Kim Cattrall is actually wearing some sort of minimal dark undergarment below her waist to cover herself. You can see a black strip of material across her hips.(00:11:20)
Suggested correction:I've watched the scene and even paused it and see no black strip. In any case, if slo-mo were needed, the mistake would not be valid.
Corrected entry: At the beginning of this episode, Carrie mentions in voiceover that they had been in LA for over a week. It's obvious in this episode, that they are staying in LA for a second week. But Carrie never showed up at the second meeting for the Production Company, which would have ended her work with them. Since the Production Company was paying for 2 hotel rooms; it isn't likely they would have let the girls stay in those rooms for 2 weeks for free, when Carrie quit the project after only a few days. And it's doubtful the girls would have elected to pay full price for an expensive hotel in LA for almost 2 weeks on their own, when they had expected to stay there for free.
Correction:Why wouldn't a group of girls that eat and dine in the finest restaurants every day and spend thousands of dollars in expensive shoes and bags spend some money on a nice hotel?
Correction:Agree with the other corrections, but would add that Carrie wasn't working for the production company. She was invited to California to discuss optioning her column for a movie. Regardless of whether or not she attended a second meeting, she was their invited guest and the arrangement included a two-week hotel stay, which would be pre-paid. The remainder of a two-week hotel bill is a small business expense that the production company could write off as a tax deduction. Suddenly ejecting a well-known writer from the hotel would be unprofessional, cheap, and end possible future collaborations and is something Carrie would likely write about in her column.
Continuity mistake: During this scene when Samantha is confronting her new assistant, the office set-up is completely different than before, when Nina G. was working for her. The assistant office space is much larger, glass desk, different angle, next to small conference room instead of Samantha's office, etc.; obviously not the same office set as previously used. Yet Samantha has not changed offices at all during this time period, as it wasn't too long ago when she fired Nina G. Something as major as changing offices would definitely have been mentioned in the plot (as changing apartments always is); and there hasn't been enough time since she fired Nina G.(00:13:45)
Suggested correction:You're assuming that moving to a new office must be a plot for a new episode, which makes no sense (plus, it's a show that revolves around sex, women, restaurants and bars). Furthermore, the episode you mention is S2E17. Many months have passed and it's perfectly plausible for Sam to move some place else.
Revealing mistake: When Carrie and Berger are walking out of the park, you can see Sarah Jessica Parker's 'baby bulge' noticeably in her abdomen. Her dress doesn't cover it up.(00:06:05)
Suggested correction:That's one of the gags of the film, how action films have obvious stunt doubles, not to mention ridiculous stunts like how he got the car on 2 wheels in the first place.
Corrected entry: When Hobbs and Shaw are boarding the plane with fake identities, Hobbs has a fake mustache when he gets to security, but it's gone when he gets on the plane.
Correction:He had plenty of time to take it off. Hattie also took her disguise off.
