Corrected entry: Christine's production line is shown stopping at 5pm exactly. Car production lines are very capital-intensive - in 2011, they cost about £10,000 an hour to run - so they are usually run on two or three shifts, finishing at 6am, 2pm, or 10pm. Meal breaks are usually half way through the shift, so that doesn't fit either. In any case, until the 1980's, there was usually some allowance for "washing up time" at the end of each shift - the men (in those days) would finish at ten to the hour to have time to wash their hands and change their clothes.

Corrected entry: In the scene where V faces Creedy and his men, there are 11 of them (including Creedy). However, during the fight V kills 14 (including Creedy).

Aliens (1986)
Corrected entry: When the crew are in the drop ship going down to the planet, Hicks is asleep in one shot, but when Hudson is ranting at Ripley about the weapons that are available, Hicks can be seen behind him, wide awake. Hicks is then both awake and asleep in the following shots, and Apone even tells someone to wake Hicks up, when we can see he is already awake and laughing with the others.
Correction: This is all meant to demonstrate how seasoned a soldier Hicks is that he can "sleep" through the drop. At no point is he ever actually asleep, he's just very relaxed. He opens and closes his eyes as the conversation interests or disinterests him. Apone is making a joke about this.

Dances with Wolves (1990)
Corrected entry: In the beginning, a Civil War battle is taking place at the fictional St. David's field in 1863. The General who tends to Dunbar after the victory is a 3 star Lieutenant General. The only Yankee 3 star general during the Civil War was General Grant and he wasn't promoted to Lt. General until 1864.
Correction: I think the point of this mistake was to say this fictitious General would have outranked all the real-life Generals at the time with a rank not then in use, breaking the willing suspension of disbelief.

Alice in Wonderland (2010)
Corrected entry: When the Red Queen and "Um" are sitting in the throne room, it appears the Queen's blue make-up and eyebrows are faded. I'm guessing the blue and the eyebrows are meant to be part of the character's actual face and not fade.

Men in Black II (2002)
Corrected entry: When Kay and Jay are watching the Light of Zartha video, the aliens are walking toward the MIB from their right on the beach, with the tall grass behind them to set the angle. Next time they are shown, the aliens are approaching from the agents' left with the tall grass behind them.

Buried (2010)
Corrected entry: When Paul is patched though to Dan with the hostage working group Dan asks Paul how much battery life is left on his phone. When Paul pulls the phone away from his head you can see the Blackberry is upside down, qwerty keyboard in his ear and screen and speaker at his mouth. When the kidnapper calls in 1 minute later the phone is instantly right side up.
This correction was made without watching the scene. After Paul checks the battery life, the keyboard is on top. He puts the phone back up to his ear and keeps talking to Dan the whole time. When Paul gets another call he checks the phone and it has now flipped so the keyboard is on the bottom. The phone has flipped instantly.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Billy Black is talking about the origins of the wolf and vampire conflict, there's flashbacks to that time while he is narrating over it, and there is a part where Taha Aki's wife stabs herself in the torso. When we see the close shot of where she stabbed herself whilst she's take the knife away, there is no hole in her clothing, just a patch of blood soaked through.

Buried (2010)
Corrected entry: At one point when Paul is looking at his phone's battery, there are 2 bars left. In the next shot it jumps to 3 bars of battery left, the phone battery symbol then changes to 2 bars in the next shot where the battery's life decreases to 1 bar left.
Correction: The battery indicator bars can show more or less power remaining depending on what functions are active at the time. If the power remaining is right at the "margin" between one level and the next then during a call you may see only two bars, but hang up and it may jump to three, for example.

Avatar (2009)
Corrected entry: The flux vortex in the Hallelujah mountains interferes with the radio instruments on the drop ship due to intense magnetic flux in the area. However it does not interfere with the Avatars, which are "remote controlled".
Correction: "Remote conrolled" doesn't necessarily equal "radio controlled" 140 years in the future. In fact, in the case of the Avatar program, it obviously does not.
Wrong, magnetism bends frequencies including light or radio. The magnetic flux is powerful enough to interfere with remote control signals even if it's 140 or 400 years into the future.
You are assuming that they used electromagnetic waves to control avatars. Or that the vortex had equal impact to all frequencies.

Finding Nemo (2003)
Corrected entry: After Marlin's wife, Coral, gets eaten in the beginning of the film, Marlin should have changed to a female clownfish while introducing a secondary male into the anemone. This is because clownfish are born hermaphrodites, but children watching this movie might get a little confused.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (2010)

Back to the Future Part III (1990)
Corrected entry: In 1885 Marty meets his great-great-grandparents. His great-great-grandfather looks like him so that we can be sure of their relation. BUT, his great-great-grandmother looks like his own mother. This makes no sense as in this way his parents are related by blood due to the resemblance of their ancestors.
Correction: Even if a blood relationship is implied, it still isn't close enough to be an issue. My great-great-grandfather and my wife's great-great-great-grandfather were the same person. Perhaps it's merely an implication that the McFlys and the Baines are two families destined to be together. Or perhaps she simply happens to look like Marty's mother and has no genetic relationship to her whatsoever.

Taken (2008)
Corrected entry: When the security chief first sees Brian sneaking aboard the yacht, he quickly speaks to the owner in a foreign language that is translated in subtitles as "the girl's father wants her back". If you follow the sequence of events leading to this scene, the security chief has no way of knowing or reason to think that Brian in Kim's father. The scene where Brian kills the auctioneer has occurred only moments before. Kim is one of three girls being kidnapped, so the security chief should have said "one of the girls fathers wants her back."

Shallow Hal (2001)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Hal and Rosemary are walking home (where she first meets Jill), they walk past a window and you can see Rosemary's true figure in the reflection of the window. But, in the scene where Hal first introduces Rosemary to Mauricio, you can see her shadow on the floor, and it's a thin shadow of her "inner figure". There's no explanation as to why her shadow is thin but her reflection isn't.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse (2010)
Corrected entry: The Cullens are watching a news report about the violence in Seattle. It is night time in the report, and the reporter says "this is CNN live.". Cut to the Cullens watching the newscast, and it is daylight out. Forks and Seattle are both in western Washington, it could not be night in one place and day in the other.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010)
Corrected entry: When Scott says to Wallace in their kitchen, "You know what sucks?", he pulls some fridge magnet letters together to form the word "SUX". Directly underneath the magnets is a clip holding Ramona's phone number, with almost no space between the two. Wallace asks "What?" In Scott's response shot following that, there is suddenly enough space for him to pull in a sideways 8 magnet between "SUX" and the clip. There doesn't seem to have been enough time for Scott to move the clip, and the motion of his hand between shots does not suggest he did so.

Correction: I work on a production line. The exact time my work finishes each day varies. This day, that production line happened to finish, for whatever reaon, at 5PM. There's no mistake in that.
