Corrected entry: The motel rooms in both Del Rio and El Paso have large central air vents, convenient for hiding money. However the exterior shots of both motels show that the rooms are equipped with AC units mounted under the window (as evidenced by the large exterior vent under the window). It is very unlikely that both motels would use both a central air system and separate AC room units.

CodeCat

Correction: The motels do not have AC units large enough for central air, so the window units are installed in each room. However the ducts shown are not for AC, they provide heat from the furnace during the few colder months.

Underworld (2003)

Correction: The mythos for these vampires is very much different from the typical vampire legends. The vampires in this film are not "undead", rather they have a genetic condition, passed through a transfer of bodily fluids, which grants them various abilities and disabilities. Selene can drown just as easily as you or I.

The Protector (2005)

Correction: Having been soundly defeated, they both made hasty retreats while Jaa's attention (and therefore the camera's) was focused elsewhere, namely on the newly arrived opponent.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Taylor tells the story of the Cullens, the flashback shows Carlisle, Edward, Emmett and Rosalie. Where is Esme then? Edward explained to Bella that Carlisle first turned him into a vampire before turning Esme in the movie.

Correction: So they don't show Esme. Doesn't mean she wasn't around. At any rate, in the books she becomes a vampire before Rosalie and Emmett, but no such thing is said in the films. If they decide to change that relatively minor detail that's no mistake.

Corrected entry: After the battle at Helms Deep some of the main characters, including Gandalf, Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli, ride a short distance away from Helms Deep, looking directly away from the city and out towards Mordor. That is impossible, because Helms Deep faces North, which is the way they are facing, and Mordor is to the East. Even if the group did look to the East it would be highly unlikely that they would see Mordor even then, as it is too far away.

Correction: Helm's deep faces east. Without even looking at a map this can be determined by the fact that Gandalf rides down the hill toward Helm's deep as the sun rises behind him. The sun doesn't rise in the north.

Clue (1985)

Corrected entry: After Mrs. White states that she too is being blackmailed for something she didn't do, Mr. Green says, "Me too." However Green later states he's being blackmailed because he is a homosexual.

BBP

Correction: He clearly didn't want people to know, or else the blackmail wouldn't work. He was just denying the fact, and later decided to admit to it.

Transporter 3 (2008)

Corrected entry: In the underwater car scene, bags in the trunk of the car are used as flotation devices with the air from the tires. That same air was already there and therefore would not make the car float.

Correction: This has been submitted and corrected so many times. The air takes up more space when it is in the bags than when it is in the tires, therefore displacing more water and thus allowing the car to float. It's not how much air you have that gives you buoyancy, but how much space it takes up.

Phixius

You would still need about 2 cubic meters of air to lift an Audi A8. It has a curb weight of about 4400 pounds or 2,000 kilos. An Audi A8 has a tire size of 255/45 R19 which has a volume of roughly 45 litres (~113 litres at 2.5 bar). To float 2000 kilos you would need 500 litres of air per tire. That would put the tire pressure to a meagre ~11,1 bar.

Corrected entry: Hermione says that Harry wouldn't want to run into himself in the past, that he'll go mad. There have most likely been many instances when something like that would happen, a polyjuice user encountering the sample, for instance. It would probably cause confusion, but it's very unlikely that someone would go insane as a result.

Knever

Correction: She meant Harry's past self, who doesn't yet know about time-travel, would. At any rate, it was a figure of speech. Not that he'd just start drooling in his Cheerios with an Aluminum foil hat on his head at the mere sight of himself. Just that his past self's reaction could be dangerous.

Corrected entry: Punisher shoots Pittsy in the face, at close range, obliterating the entire front half of his head. Yet there is no 'spray' of blood, grey matter or bone, and agent Budiansky gets nothing on him, despite being about two feet away. Half of Pittsy's head simply vanishes.

wizard_of_gore

Correction: His head didn't explode, it was shot off. The blood, bone, & brain were all blasted away from the Punisher and Budiansky, to a point off camera.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In the first diner scene, Bella gets the ketchup for her burger but doesn't put any on.

Correction: She tries, but the squeeze bottle was empty. Which is why Charlie didn't reach for it after she put it down, even though they both wanted ketchup.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Edward pushes James into the mirrors, James doesn't have blood on the right side of his lower lip. But when Edward bites him, the blood is there. That can't be right, because vampires can't bleed.

Correction: It's never stated in the film that vampires don't bleed, so this isn't a mistake.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Edward drives Bella to school, she looks out the window and it is dark and rainy, but when they arrive at school it is a lot lighter and Edward comes out of the Volvo wearing sunglasses, stating that it is a sunny day. But this could not be possible: Edward should be sparkling.

replayheat64

Correction: School starts in the morning, while the sun is still rising during part of the school year. So it makes sense that it got lighter. Edward never says it's a sunny day, he's just wearing glasses. And there's no reason he shouldn't.

Show generally

Corrected entry: This happens mostly during the early series. Whenever the Rangers throw a flying side kick (the jumping one that they seem to be rather fond of), they do it all wrong. They throw the kick leg out from the start, while the kick is actually thrown with the leg chambered until the moment before impact. Throwing it the way that the Rangers do will jam your leg.

Correction: It's stylized. Every martial arts film/series/show ever made features "fake" moves like this. It's a filmmaking convention, not a mistake.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In both the scenes where Edward, and the rest of the Cullen teens are sitting at the school's cafeteria, you can see them with hot dogs, salads, apples and other snacks. This contradicts the scene where Bella arrives at the Cullen's home for dinner, and it is revealed that the Cullen family never eats and is cooking for the first time. They eat stuff other than animals they hunt.

Correction: When Bella visits their home it is revealed only that they've never used their own kitchen before. It would be rather suspicious if the Cullens didn't at least keep up appearances during lunchtime.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: In scene where Bella and Charlie are in the restaurant, Bella and Charlie reach for the ketchup together. Charlie lets Bella get it, but none comes out.

Correction: So it was empty, and Bella gave up on it. You'll notice Charlie does not reach for it after Bella puts it down even though he wanted some; he knows now that there's none to be had in that bottle.

Bolt (2008)

Corrected entry: The opening scene portrays Bolt in his world (or at least how he perceives it as a true-believing method actor). Nonetheless, it is virtually impossible to shoot a television episode in such a manner where everyone and everything hits their marks on the first try. (00:02:35 - 00:11:00)

Correction: Virtually impossible, but not technically impossible, therefore not a movie mistake.

Twilight (2008)

Corrected entry: When Jacob comes to the beach and sees Bella he is apparently with Quil and Embry. But in the credits, there is no Embry Call. There is a Sam Uley, but that makes no sense, since Jacob doesn't hang out will Sam till New Moon (2nd book) because he thinks he is bad.

Correction: First, movie and book discrepancies are not movie mistakes. Second, the character is clearly Sam, with or without the credit, as noted by his tone when speaking of the Cullens. None of the other boys in the tribe believed enough in the stories to have that level of dislike toward the Edward and the others. Finally, Sam did not begin acting strangely and therefore gaining Jacob's dislike until the events of New Moon, so there's no reason at this point in the story for Jacob, Quil, and Sam not to be hanging out together.

Quantum of Solace (2008)

Corrected entry: When Bond and the Bolivian Secret Agent have crash landed on the dried up river bed, Bond offers her his jacket as she is cold. When the camera cuts to her the first time her hair is tucked under the right collar of the jacket, however all other shots show her hair is on top of the collar.

Correction: So she pulled it out off camera.

What Lies Beneath (2000)

Corrected entry: After the seance, Michelle Pfeiffer goes to drain the bathtub after it has mysteriously filled itself. Look closely, you can see the ghost moving in the mirror and again in the far right hand side of the bathtub even though Michelle does not see or acknowledge it.

Correction: This is meant to be noticed by the viewer and therefore is not trivia.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Nulla is hiding in the water tank with the police down below looking for him, the windmill is turning quite fast, however cut away shots of the trees, vegetation and the long hair of one of the trackers shows no sign of any wind whatsoever.

Correction: Windmills are tall because wind speed increases the further from the ground it's blowing.
