Continuity mistake: When Zigfried tells Leon he has a gift that could thrust Schroeder Corp straight to number one, he is holding a floppy disk in between his fingers. The disk has a white piece of tape on one side that disappears from the disk when the shot cuts. The piece of tape reappears on the disk midway through the shot. (00:19:17)
Sinister Secrets: Part 1 - S5-E12
Continuity mistake: When Leon's life points go down to 3700, there is a shot of the other characters on the balcony cheering. In the shot, Professor Hawkins has his hands on his face. When the shot cuts, his hands are lowered. (00:08:52)
One Step Ahead: Part Two - S5-E11
Continuity mistake: Just after Kaiba activates the Shrink card, causing the Valkyrie Brunhilde monster's attack points to get halved, Zigfried points out that she'll hit Kaiba. When Kaiba realises this, his right hand and forearm are pointed forward. In the next shot from behind Kaiba, his right hand and forearm are pointed to the right. Then in the following shot after that, his right upper arm is raised and his right forearm is pointed downwards. (00:10:20)
One Step Ahead: Part Two - S5-E11
Continuity mistake: When young Zigfried is studying in the flashback, there is a photo frame on the desk in front of him. The photo frame has a turn button that is tilted at an angle to the left. Then there is a close-up of the front side of the photo, but when the shot cuts back to Zigfried, the turn button is now at a fully vertical angle, without being tilted. (00:11:08)
One Step Ahead: Part Two - S5-E11
Continuity mistake: Just before Zigfried's life points go down to 1100, his arms are at his side. Then, when his life points count is shown going down to 1100, his arms are suddenly extended. (00:15:10)
Sinister Secrets: Part 1 - S5-E12
Character mistake: When Joey says that he could have been a contender in the final, Rebecca tells him that he lost his First Duel. Joey's first Grand Championship duel was between him and Solomon, a duel that he won. He lost his second duel at Grand Championship, which was between him and Zigfried. (00:07:20)

Continuity mistake: When Zigfried is telling Leon that he seems to possess all sorts of hidden abilities, Leon is holding a trophy against his upper arm. But in the next shot, the trophy is held above his shoulder. (00:19:03)
One Step Ahead: Part One - S5-E10
Continuity mistake: When Kaiba exposes Zigfried's real identity, in the shot of Kaiba saying "or should I say Zigfried Von Schroeder?", Zigfried is looking directly at Kaiba. In the next shot, Zigfried is looking down slightly, with his eyes closed. (00:03:50)
One Step Ahead: Part Two - S5-E11
Continuity mistake: When Kaiba says to Zigfried that he has never stolen anything in his life, his left arm is at his side. When the shot cuts, his left arm is extended and bent at the elbow. (00:13:12)
One Step Ahead: Part Two - S5-E11
Continuity mistake: Zigfried activates the effect of Nibelung's Ring, meaning Kaiba has to send the Cave Dragon monster card in his hand to the graveyard. In the close-up shot of the two cards in his hand, the card on the left is placed over the card on the right. When the shot cuts, the card on the right is placed over the card on the left. (00:07:58)
One Step Ahead: Part Two - S5-E11
Continuity mistake: When the elevator door opens, Zigfried is revealed to be inside with three men in suits. All three of the men accompanying him are taller than him. But in the next shot, while he is walking through the office, one of the men is suddenly slightly shorter than him. (00:11:35)
One Step Ahead: Part One - S5-E10
Continuity mistake: After Kaiba has summoned Z-Metal Tank and Clone Dragon to the field, the other characters react to this while sitting among the crowd. Yugi says, "and it's gonna get worse," and turns his head to the right to face Zigfried's side of the field. When this happens, Tea and Rebecca are looking forwards. When the shot cuts, they are looking to the right in the same direction as Yugi. (00:13:04)
One Step Ahead: Part One - S5-E10
Revealing mistake: A live feed of the duel between Kaiba and Zigfried is displayed on screens in the arena that are positioned behind them. Whenever the screens are shown, another version of the same screen can be seen displayed on the feed. However, the same live feed cannot be seen. Instead, a white light is displayed on the screen and not another version of the live feed.
One Step Ahead: Part One - S5-E10
Other mistake: When Kaiba summons Pitch-Dark Dragon to the field, there is one other card in his hand. He then sets a card face-down, which would mean that he has no more cards in his hand. But at the start of his next turn, right before he draws a card from his deck, there is already one card in his hand, even though he would have had no more cards in his hand at the end of his previous turn. A Brawl in a Small Town: Part One - S5-E8
Revealing mistake: When the audience members are cheering, in the shot where the announcer is heard saying "The KC Grand Championship is heating up", there is a man wearing a red jumper, visible in the top right corner of the frame, whose mouth is missing from his face. (00:01:45)
Sinister Secrets: Part 2 - S5-E13
Continuity mistake: When Zigfried announces that the most powerful card never released is already on the field, Leon can be seen in the background, and he is directly facing Zigfried's position. The shot cuts to focus on Leon, and he is standing with his body facing towards Yugi and has his head turned to face Zigfried. (00:16:45)
Sinister Secrets: Part 1 - S5-E12
Continuity mistake: Just after Zigfried reveals that Leon is his brother, there is a shot focusing on Leon where his right arm is lowered. When the shot cuts, his upper arm is raised and his fingers are outstretched. (00:13:19)
Down in Flames: Part Two - S5-E7
Continuity mistake: After Joey places a mystery card face down, Zigfried says, "Then it's time for my goddesses to do their thing." When he says this, his left arm is in front of his body so that he can use the duel disk, and his right arm is at his side. In the next shot, his left arm is extended, and his right hand is on his chest. (00:13:33)

Continuity mistake: When Rebecca places the Fire Princess monster card on her duel disk, she has two fingers pressed against the front side of the card and two fingers pointed away from the card. In the next shot, all her fingers are on the card. (00:11:25)
