The Inspector: Place of birth?
The Inspector: Profession?
Philippa: Teach. I'm a teacher.
The Inspector: Marital status?
Philippa: Um, I don't know.
The Inspector: You don't know whether you're married or not?
Philippa: I was in the process... I was getting divorced, but my husband died during proceedings.
Philippa: I don't want to escape punishment. I've killed four innocent people and I want to answer for that, but before I do, I want to kill him.
Jude: You know, saying 'cause of peace', it's like saying, 'hunk of butter', you know, I don't want you to listen to anybody who wants you to believe is dedicated to the hunk and not the butter.
Reporter: I'm not sure I follow.
Jude: You know, I didn't come out of some cereal box. There's no-one out there who's gonna be converted by a song.
Steve Zissou: I wanted to give you a heads-up on what I thought of the piece.
Jane Winslett-Richardson: You read it. What did you think?
Steve Zissou: Well, I was a little upset at first. I mean, obviously people are going to think I'm a showboat, and a little bit of a prick. But then I thought... that's me. I said those things, I did those things. I can live with that. You're a good writer, Jane.
Jane Winslett-Richardson: It's the effing cover.
Steve Zissou: Thatta girl.
