Continuity mistake: After Jessica fails John's "test" detailing the crime scene photos on the bulletin board behind her, it cuts to Jessica back at her apartment. In the closeup we see Jessica polish off the glass of wine she's drinking, and in the next wideshot from behind she lowers the glass from her mouth, but in the next closeup her glass is half full, even though she never refilled the wine. Continuity mistake: While Brewster and Loco are headed back to NYC they pay the GW Bridge toll, and when three police motorcycles start following them only one of the motorcycles has a windshield, but in the shot facing Loco and Brewster we can see that now two of the motorcycles behind the car have windshields, and then it's back to only one again. Continuity mistake: After Rash questions Phil about the night prior to the accident, it cuts to Bobby loading bags onto the pickup, and when Bobby spots Rash driving toward him the bag on Bobby's shoulder is white side up, but next shot it's flipped over to the red side up. (00:32:05)

Continuity mistake: When the injured tank driver appears in the open hatch while Margaret's yelling at him, he does not have a bushy mustache, but in the next shot in the OR we hear Margaret telling Potter about the tank driver while they're operating on him, and when the camera pulls in closer we see that he has a big bushy mustache. Continuity mistake: While everyone's gathered for their last evening together, taking turns telling what their life will be like when they get home, there are three closeups of Kellye in which we see that her caduceus insignia pin is on her right lapel and her First Lieutenant bar is on her left lapel, though it should be the opposite way, and her closeups are not flipped. The pins are on the proper side in other shots of Kellye during the episode.

Continuity mistake: After Klinger presses Potter about getting rid of the tank Potter tells Klinger to act like a sergeant, and in the shot from Potter's office Klinger walks out with both of his helmet straps hanging loose, but when it cuts to him walking into the outer office one of the straps is suddenly gone. Continuity mistake: When Father Mulcahy releases the locked up POWs, in the following explosion Father Mulcahy is knocked to the ground and his eyeglasses are still on his face properly, but in the next shot when BJ rushes to his side the eyeglasses are on the ground behind Mulcahy's head, and BJ did not remove them.

Continuity mistake: When Lucy's locked out on the penthouse balcony, Ethel places the broom handle through the small round finger hole of the scissors, with the large oval finger hole to the right of the round hole and the blades pointing out, then holds the scissors in place as she puts the broom over the balcony rail. When Lucy retrieves them from the broom, the scissors have flipped over. The blades are pointing out and the broom handle is still through the small round finger hole, but now the large oval hole is to the left of the round hole. (Impossible to do on its own. Try it).
