Corrected entry: In the scene where Jack Sparrow is introduced (Number Two to select on the DVD) he has three plaits on his beard. However, as he steps off of the boat, he only has two. As his boat is currently sinking, I doubt that he would have time to change this. Throughout the rest of the movie he only has two.

Correction: This has been corrected many times. It is the shadow of one of the braids that makes it look like three. There are only two.

Corrected entry: On the plane ride from Europe to America, some compartment is opened at the back of the plane and a man is dangled below the plane into the open sky. This is impossible because you would trigger an explosive decompression by opening a hatch/door inflight which would most likely suck everyone out onboard or cause serious injuries at the very least.

Jordan Hare

Correction: But that only depends on the altitute of the airplane. That particular type of airplane is designed for that to happen, and if they're low enough, decompression won't be an issue.

Ocean's Eleven (2001)

Corrected entry: When Rusty and Linus are watching Tess walk down the stairs, Rusty is holding a bowl of shrimp, but in the next shot, he is holding a plate instead of a bowl.

Correction: Duplicate Mistake.

Flightplan (2005)

Corrected entry: When Carson is going downstairs to Avionics to find Kyle, there is a shot of Carson's shoes going down when Kyle take Julia in his arms. The shoes are on the second and third steps. After that, Kyle opens the small gate and put Julia on the floor to watch Carson. Then there is another shot of Carson's shoes but he has just gone down one step of the stairs. Kyle spent enough time opening the gate to Carson to get further down.

Correction: Maybe he wants to go down the stairs slowly to possibly be quiet. Character decision.

Charmed (1998)

Season 6 generally

Corrected entry: Why does Chris have his powers when he went to the past if the Charmed Ones never had their powers when they went to the past, for example in "That 70's Episode" or "Witchstock?" If Chris came from the future and traveled to the past, shouldn't he have lost his powers too?

Correction: Bianca states in Chris-Crossed, that with the particular spell that they were using to send him back, his powers would not be affected.

Correction: Maybe in the future they have come up with a spell that allows them to go back in time without losing their powers? It isn't impossible to believe they have improved upon their spells.

The Ring (2002)

Corrected entry: At Katie's wake, Rachel talks to some of Katie's friends about the other teens that died. one of them was metnioned dying in a car accident, but this seems impossible because Samara attacks through the television.

Correction: It is explained as any reflective surface. I am sure metal and glass count.

Corrected entry: It is illogical for The Riddler's green suit to be in the prisoner property locker at Arkham. The last time we saw Edward Nygma as The Riddler, he was wearing a white sequined suit with green question marks, so it is safe to assume this is what he was arrested in, and thus what should be in the property locker. The police may have seized his other costumes, but there is no reason for them to be at Arkham.

Correction: Just because you think there is no reason for it not to be there, doesn't make it true. Maybe they did store all of the Riddler's stuff at Arkham just like real prisons store personal effects for prisoners.

House, M.D. (2004)

Meaning - S3-E1

Corrected entry: House breaks into Wilson's office and writes himself a prescription for Vicodin with Wilson's prescription pad. Vicodin is a Schedule III controlled substance, which means that a pharmacist requires verbal authorization from the prescribing doctor or his staff to dispense it to a patient, even another doctor, making the prescription useless to House, which he should know.

Correction: Actually, it isn't often verified (scary, I know). I am a paramedic and work at a hospital and no one ever questions the ER docs who write narcotic prescriptions. They simply verify that it is an actual doctor.

The Recruit (2003)

Corrected entry: When Burke tells them about the NOC, Zack is sitting in the front row (he has a red sweater on) on Burke's right. In later shots he is shown sitting on Burke's left. (00:26:55)

Joel Gordon

Correction: Actually if you look carefully, he is sitting almost directly in front of Burke. When they show Burke from his left, it appears that Zack is on Burke's right. Then when the angle switches, he looks like he has moved. He hasn't.

Must Love Dogs (2005)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Sarah is getting a midnight manicure, she runs out of the salon when she spots Jake. You can see she has some sort of separators between her toes. After their encounter, she starts to walk back to the salon, the separators are gone.

Correction: Have you ever had a pedicure? I have had those things fall out after sneezing, let alone running.

Armageddon (1998)

Corrected entry: In the scene after AJ, Bear and the cosmonaut do their Evel Knievel jump across the canyon; one shot shows AJ opening the hatch of the Armadillo whilst Bear relaxes in the front seat with his helmet off. How was he able to breathe when all the oxygen escaped the Armadillo?

Correction: The hatch to the outside could be in a separate pressurized compartment that allows one to leave without disturbing the others.

Top Gun (1986)

Corrected entry: In the volleyball scene, you will notice a burgundy "50's Chevy" type vehicle behind some bleachers just behind Maverick and Goose's side. During close-ups of Iceman and his partner diving for balls, you can see the same car behind their side. When Maverick is leaving, you finally see a far away shot of Iceman's side and the car is definitely not there. It seems as if the "action" shots were filmed on one side because they never switched sides.

Correction: Or they could have played a real volleyball game and switched sides.

War of the Worlds (2005)

Corrected entry: As to the initial EM pulse, it is unlikely that changing the solenoid on the van would have helped, as the one he has to change it with was in proximity to the van when the EM pulse disabled them. Unless he keeps spare solenoids in a shielded box then it is likely that all solenoids would have been equally affected, regardless of whether or not it was installed or not.

Correction: If an electrical object is completely turned off and not attached to a power source then it isn't necessarily destroyed by an EM Pulse. Therefore, if he had a spare solenoid on a shelf, it could have been fine.

shortdanzr

Therefore, any car with the key off would be unaffected. This whole EMP thing is a reach.

Correction: There no solenoid on that car that could possibly disable it that way.

Corrected entry: In the scene with the 'haunted dress', when the lantern is knocked down, you see the fire spreading into the word 'Tortuga.' It goes straight from the 'T' to the 'o', so those two letters are connected. But then in the shot after Elizabeth points out that is says 'Tortuga', all of the letters are separate.

Correction: Since the vapors are what burn, they could have burnt themselves out. Also, when there are spots of flammable liquid NEAR each other, it can travel since again, the vapors are what burn.

Corrected entry: After Buttercup realizes that Humperdinck never sent the messengers and is calling him a coward, he grabs her and shuts her in her room, intending to lock her in since he grabs the key out of the lock. However, he immediately pulls the key out after shutting the door without turning it first- so the door is actually still unlocked. Since Humperdinck was intending to lock her in, it's unlikely that the character would have 'accidentally' forgot to lock the door, more likely the actor was just moving too fast.

Correction: Or he could have been so flustered at his deception being revealed that he truly forgot. It is pure speculation about what the actor was or wasn't doing.

shortdanzr

Corrected entry: Right at the end of the film M is told that "Carver went down with the ship" and that Bond got out alive, M dictates a short statement to Moneypenny. After this, in the next scene, the British fleet is looking for Bond and Wei Lin.

Correction: Not nessarily a mistake. They know he is alive, they just don't know where he is. And as he doesn't answer when they call him, it is obviously a common thing for Bond to disappear.

shortdanzr

Corrected entry: After Mola Rom tears a man's heart out, the man is lowered in the molten pit. The man's chest is visible and has no hole or mark where his heart was taken.

Correction: True, but the man also is still alive after getting his heart ripped out of his chest and the heart is beating. Obviously something "supernatural" is going on.

shortdanzr

Also, we do see the hole close, and somewhat heal itself, on screen.

Poseidon (2006)

Corrected entry: Kurt Russell's character does CPR incorrectly. His chest thrusts are not correct, and he uses the wrong ration of thrusts to breaths. Most of the time this could be forgiven, but this character is a former fireman. He should know how to do CPR.

Correction: As a paramedic, I can tell you that there are correct specific ways to do things and then there is real life. As to the ratio of breaths to thrusts, the American Heart Association (who issues ratios in the US) changes what should be done every few years.

Jurassic Park III (2001)

Corrected entry: When the pteranodon is in the bridge, it opens its beak to reveal teeth. 'Pteranodon Sternbergi' or 'Pteranodon Ingens' had no teeth.

Correction: Since the researchers added various DNA to the creatures, it is not unreasonable to think that it ended up with teeth.

Corrected entry: At the very end of the movie when Marty and Jennifer are at the wreck on the train tracks, the thing starts dinging and the arms lower, indicating that a train is coming. But if Doc is coming from somewhere else in time, then it wouldn't say a train was coming, and one dosn't come later.

Correction: He can travel through time, I don't think it would be so hard to make a train signal activate.
