Question: SPOILERS: After young Joe shot himself, shouldn't he have disappeared? Seeming as the whole reason he's at the farm is because of old Joe, but if old Joe never existed to set certain events in motion in the first place, I don't see why young Joe's body would have just stayed there after he shot himself.

Question: Towards the beginning of the film when Brock and his team are searching for the diamond. They go through what where Rose's, Cal's and Ruth's rooms. They also pass the bathroom and Bodine says "Looks like someone left the water running" My question is how could he tell that? And how could that've happened? When the passengers start going up to the deck Ruth tells the maids to go back and turn up the heaters believing she will return to the room and maids aren't shown again.
Answer: It was a sarcastic remark. The "water left running" flooded the Titanic and caused it to sink. He didn't mean that someone literally left the water running.
Answer: What they mean by "the water running" is that the Titanic is fully underwater, where Brock is using sarcasm to say the Titanic is flooded.

Question: When Reggie is negotiating with Reverend Roy and tells him that Marks mum wants a walk-in closet, Roy responds with "Walk-in. Is that hyphenated?" Although I gather that Roy was being sarcastic, I still have no idea what that comment means. Any help would be great.
Chosen answer: Meaning is the word walk-in hyphenated.... walkin or walk-in.
Answer: I saw his question "Is walk-in hyphenated?" as a touch of humor.

Answer: A suspense point. Just to make the audience think that the predator is up there.

Batman and Robin (1997)
Question: Why does Batman override the controls to Robin's motorbike when they're pursuing Freeze? Robin says he can make it, and yet Batman still prevents him from doing it. Why? Robin's a professional circus performer and Batman knows that; if Robin knows he can make the jump, then Batman should have allowed him to make the jump.
Answer: Because Batman has been over protective of Robin the whole time and is not entirely sure that Robin is not a "reckless youth". The whole point is that Batman doesn't know that if Robin says he can make the jump, that he can make it. That's why at the end when Batman trusts Robin's judgement that he can do what he says, Robin thanks him.

Final Destination 2 (2003)
Question: In the dentist office scene, Tim almost chokes to death when the toy puffer fish falls into his mouth, but the nurse saves him by pulling it out. Nora should be next, but Tim gets crushed by the glass pane anyway. This is a major mistake on death's list.
Chosen answer: No it simply means that Tim was not supposed to die by the puffer fish. He was meant to be saved so that he could die later. The movie shows multiple instances where someone almost dies, but at the last second is saved. It's a common way to build suspense.

Question: I was just wondering if in America (or any other countries) the film is called 'twenty-twelve' or 'two thousand and twelve'? Here in England it's 'twenty twelve', it had never occurred to me it might be different elsewhere but in the commentary the director calls it 'two thousand and twelve'.
Answer: I live in America (Florida) and we said twenty-twelve. All the media I heard said twenty-twelve. There is actually some debate going on in America (or at least Florida) about whether or not we should say twenty-ten or two thousand ten.

Question: During the first film, there is a huge battle in the middle of downtown L.A. (Mission City), witnessed by thousands of people and causing millions of dollars in damage. In this movie, this is just an Internet rumor? How did they cover this up? Did the government pay off thousands of people and repair all the damage that quickly? And, most importantly, in the first movie didn't Jon Voight go on TV and tell the whole world they were dealing with a superior technological civilization?
Chosen answer: Per IMDB Trivia: The novelization states that the government created a fake corporation called "Massive Dynamics" as a cover for the events of Transformers (2007). The cover story stated that Massive Dynamics had developed robotic search-and-rescue robots which malfunctioned during tests and caused the damage seen in that movie's finale.

Question: How many bedrooms are on the second floor? I'm a little bit confused.
Chosen answer: There are 4. The big room that DJ and Stephanie used with the big bay window. Next to that (closer to the main/front staircase) was the father's room (rarely seen). Across the hall were the rooms used Uncle Jesse (in the beginning of the show) and Michelle's baby room.

Question: At the end of the movie, why doesn't Carlisle drain Bella's body of the venom seeing as human blood doesn't affect him anymore in the way that it does other vampires?
Answer: Because he is controlling the bleeding and doing other medical treatments. Also it is Edward's choice, he won't make that decision for him.
It's never said that Carlisle is no longer affected by desire for human blood - he was just able to restrain himself for the few people who became part of his family... Edward talks about how incredibly difficult that was for Carlisle to stop then, and (likely) still would be going forward. In the case of Bella, Carlisle asked Edward to do it because Bella's future was up to Edward's choice.

Question: Jean and Storm combine their powers to get Wolverine to the top of The Statue of Liberty. Why is this? Wouldn't Jean's telekinesis be sufficient enough to levitate Wolverine to the top without Storm's power?
Chosen answer: Jean's powers were not that powerful at the time.
But they were powerful enough to lift cars, water, etc. when she was like 7.
It's more that she doesn't have enough control over it.
In addition to what Lionhead said, Xavier also says he altered her mind in "X-Men: The Last Stand" by creating psychic barriers to lock out the Phoenix personality, which also seemed to have altered her memory. So it's entirely possible (and likely) her overall power reduced when that happened, and didn't start to fully come back until the events of "X2."

Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005)
Question: In Charlie's house, why do all four grandparents sit/sleep continuously on the same bed all the time? Especially when one of them, who went with Charlie is perfectly capable of walking. How can four people be comfortable on one bed all the time? Secondly, what is in the middle of the bed, where they keep the food tray and where Charlie sits, during one scene?
Answer: All four grandparents sleep in one bed because there is only one good bed and the family gives the one comfy bed to the elderly. His grandparents aren't supposed to be able to walk .
His parents weren't able to walk in the original but, in the 2005 movie toward the end when the house was moved into the factory, all grandparents are at the diner table.

Does anyone know what happens to all the food used on cooking shows on the Food Network? Thanks.
Answer: I went to an Emeril Live taping and everyone in the audience got to eat the food. However, it was cooked off camera because back stage people were constantly substituting food that had been cooked longer for what he was making. The stuff that he was messing around with was trashed.

Law & Order (1990)
Question: In one of the court scenes it states the date as the 26th of December. Upon a bit of searching it doesn't seem to fall as a holiday in the New York Supreme Court holidays calendar. While the day is generally observed as a holiday in many countries I am not sure about whether it is observed in any states of the United States?
Chosen answer: December 25 is observed and some places close on the 24 (or just close early). The 26th is a normal work day.
