Joey's Funny Valentine - S7-E16

Question: Maybe I'm missing something, but the whole situation with Roxy doesn't make sense to me. For one, if she found out that she insulted the Tanners with her comedy bit about them, why didn't she just come out and apologize to them? That would've been the most obvious thing to do. I understand Roxy is shy and that Joey cares about her a lot, but the way the rest of the episode played out (especially during the dinner scene towards the end) is just something I can't quite wrap my head around.

Chosen answer: The first time was in the first season, episode 19 "The Seven-Month Itch", the second was in the fourth season, episode 1 "Greek Week", the third time was in the fifth season, episode 19 "The Devil Made Me Do It" and finally in the very last episode of the series, "Michelle Rides Again", season 8 episode 23.

Chosen answer: There are 4. The big room that DJ and Stephanie used with the big bay window. Next to that (closer to the main/front staircase) was the father's room (rarely seen). Across the hall were the rooms used Uncle Jesse (in the beginning of the show) and Michelle's baby room.

But what about the 2 bedrooms in the attic?

Cutting It Close - S2-E1

Question: Did Jesse know they were going to cut his hair? Did he ask them to make an episode about him getting a haircut?

Answer: No.

Taking the Plunge - S8-E19

Question: In the Full House episode "Taking the Plunge", after Michelle comments how D.J. has broken up with Nelson twice, Stephanie tells Nelson something like, "Man I've heard of on and off again relationships but you guys should be related to the clapper." Then she claps her hands. What did she mean by that?

Answer: She's referring to The Clapper, a device you plug into any electrical device, such as a lamp or radio. When you clap your hands, it turns on. Clap again, it turns off. Popularized by the "Clap on, clap off, clap on clap off, the clapper" jingle in the commercials.

Chosen answer: Candace Cameron, the actress portraying DJ, was visiting family the week the episode was filmed.

Beach Boy Bingo - S2-E6

Question: When The Beach Boys visit the Tanner home, Michelle is there with them. When they are at the concert, she is nowhere to be seen. Did they leave her alone at home?

Answer: She was left at home most likely with a babysitter.

Show generally

Question: The cast of full house use both staircases - downstairs one in the living room and one in the kitchen, but there is only one staircase upstairs, and it does not matter which staircase they use, because they always end up in the same place. How is that possible?

Answer: You only see one staircase upstairs because the living room stairs end at the hallway above the living room. The ones you see upstairs by the bedrooms are the ones from the kitchen.

Radio Days - S6-E4

Question: I was wondering, when Rebbecca was doing the interview at the hospital, she called herself Rebecca Donaldson. I was wondering why she wasn't using her married name.

toriwaters117

Chosen answer: Celebrities and people in the public eye often decide to keep their name, at least when doing their performance or public appearances. It creates a continuity for fans who knew and followed them before their marriage. Anna Faris is married to Chris Pratt, but still uses Anna Faris as her name. Rebecca could easily change her name in her private life but remain Rebecca Donaldson when in the public eye.

Answer: You remembered that episode incorrectly. Stan asks the guys who Sally Struthers is, as they watch her in a TV commercial. Kyle tells him "Sally Struthers, dude. She used to be on Full House." I think it's a joke about her no longer being successful and popular - the kids are totally unfamiliar with her work.

Answer: No she wasn't. Either it was a joke or a mistake. If it was a joke, I never figured it out or read an explanation about it.

Bishop73

It's a joke about how Sally Struthers isn't popular anymore.

It's probably the show's private "in-joke" rather than one the audience is supposed to understand.

One Last Kiss - S4-E9

Question: Even after Jesse tells Carrie straightforward that he was engaged, why would she still insist that he keep the promise he made to her ten years prior? Anyone else would've simply put the past in the past and moved on, especially after learning that their former lover with whom they lost touch is about to marry another person (so as to not arouse any suspicions).

zredman

Answer: There's several people out there who would try to get their ex back before it's "too late" in a sense before they get married. This is often a plot line in movies for a reason. Doesn't mean it's right of course, but there are plenty of people out there who would attempt to coax an ex into breaking off an engagement for hopes of a second chance whether it's right or not.

Answer: I agree with the other response. I've heard of people trying to get an ex back, people wanting a friend to end a relationship/marriage and be with them instead, etc. Not everyone would "simply" move on.

Show generally

Question: What was the episode where Rebecca and Michelle learn that Jesse's real name is Hermes?

Answer: S05e06, "The Legend of Ranger Joe." DJ calls Jesse's mom and she told her his real name.

Question: At the end of some of the openings we see the family having a picnic. It shows Michelle taking something out of the picnic basket and placing it on the blanket before going to eat. Just what does Michelle take out of the picnic basket?

Answer: Bun cake.

Our Very First Promo - S1-E12

Continuity mistake: In episode 10 (Joey's Place) the Tanner family move Joey into the garage, redecorating it so the entire place is filled with Joey's furniture, but in this episode it shows the characters in and out of the garage which is completely empty and back the way it was before Joey moved in. Later in the episode Joey's stuff is out of the alcove again.
