Corrected entry: Peter is helping Adam because he doesn't know his real intentions, but he has the power of reading minds and he has used it to get information before. If Peter had read Adam's mind, he would know beforehand that he is the one interested in releasing the virus.

Corrected entry: In episode 7 of season 1, Doakes tells Debra she's just caught the worst serial killer in Florida history. At the time, the killer in question, the Ice Truck Killer, was blamed for four slayings. Ted Bundy confessed to 30 murders (albeit not all in Florida), while the "Gainesville Ripper" was convicted for five murders.
Correction: "Worst" is relative. Doakes may have been referring to the brutality of the murders than the actual body count. Jeffrey Dahmer may be deemed as a worse serial killer than Ted Bundy, even though he had fewer victims.

Corrected entry: "M" pronounces Le Chiffre's name differently throughout the movie. When she is briefing Bond on him, she pronounces it "lay-SHIF", which is exactly how other characters in the movie pronounce it from then on on. Yet, later on "M" says "lay-SHIF-ra". It is not likely that one person would have two randomly different pronunciations of the same person's name.
Correction: Hardly "randomly" different. In any case, the fact that Judi Densch pronounces it two different ways kinda throws the idea that it's "not likely" out the window, doesn't it?

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the movie when we see the remains of the Space Station we are led to believe that it has crashed into the Planet with the thrusters sticking out of the ground at a particular angle. How is it that when they all enter the remains everything's perfectly upright?
Correction: It's not perfectly upright. The interior is also canted to one side.

Corrected entry: In the pod towards the end, one of the computer displays reads "Delta Pod." "Delta" was the pod that he was piloting in the beginning of the film which got destroyed. This craft, however, was the one initially piloted by his trained monkey, and was designated "Alpha Pod."
Correction: We see the display six times after he launches at the end: When he's approaching the storm, a closeup of the timer counting backwards, as he passes Saturn, twice when he's entering Earth's atmosphere, and the landing gear warning. In all six instances, it reads "Alpha Pod."

Corrected entry: At the end, after the pilot kisses the blonde girl, she runs off into the hills. When he runs back to the pod, and takes off, she's underneath him waving with the others.
Correction: They kiss, she turns and runs a few steps, then the camera cuts away and we don't see her again until the ship launches. She doesn't run to any hills. Caught up in the emotions, she obviously starts to run, then reconsiders and returns to stand with the group to see him off.

Cold Mountain (2003)
Corrected entry: In one scene, Ada and Ruby are awakened by Stobrod's playing on the fiddle. It's clear from the light levels that it's well-into mid-morning, and neither has risen from bed. But Ada and Ruby are the only two people working the farm (if Kathy Baker's character is with them at that point, she's still bedridden). As made clear by the novel, people working a farm always rise at or before dawn, as the animals can't go without being fed that long. It's not a character mistake: a) Ruby's character is that of a very capable and responsible person, who would never leave animals to suffer unfed, and b) even if they both had, the cows would be bawling audibly in the background. Even on Sunday, animals have the same needs.
Correction: According to strict Christian doctrine, Sunday is a day of rest. They would have left extra food for the animals on Saturday before sunset, so they wouldn't violate the Sunday rule.

Back to the Future (1985)
Corrected entry: Towards the end of the movie when Marty is driving down the street in 1955 to go back to 1985, Doc is trying to get the electricity cables back together for the lightning needed to send Marty back to the future. Doc then slides down the cable to connect the cable to the other one over the street. As he's about to connect the cable, the lightning strikes. He then has at least half a second to connect the cable and he does. But the lightning takes at least two seconds to get from the tower to the car. This is way to slow for electricity. Electricity can move around the world four times in a second.
Correction: The velocity of electric current depends very much on the insulation of the wiring being used. For instance, in open air (such as lightning) electricity is very fast, but within rubber-insulated wiring, it is slower.

Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991)
Corrected entry: The first movie takes place in 1984 and this one takes place in 1991 making John seven at the most. However, his police file says he is ten.
Correction: The movie was *released* in 1991, but it actually takes place in 1994. The Terminator states that Cyberdyne becomes the largest supplier of military computer systems and Skynet goes online in August 1997. He also says he was given orders by John "35 years from now," which would coincide with the 2029 date.

Corrected entry: When the bugs fly into the store and begin attacking people, one of the bugs lands on the chest of Mrs. Carmody. She looks down to it and says, "My life for you." This is a reference to The Stand, also by Stephen King. In The Stand, Trashcan Man repeatedly says, "My life for you" whenever he sees Randall Flagg.
Correction: Actually, this is a reference to a biblical passage: "Peter said to him, 'Master, why can't I follow you now? I will lay down my life for you.' Jesus answered, 'Will you lay down your life for me? Amen, amen, I say to you, the cock will not crow before you deny me three times.'" (John 13: 37-38)

Corrected entry: There are 50 stars on the U.S. flag in the courtroom, even though in the 1920's there should be 48 stars.
Correction: There are two flags in the courtroom, one behind the witness stand and the other just outside the courtroom. Both flags are wrapped around their poles, so it's impossible to see how many stars are on the flags. However, the lined-up configuration of the stars that are visble corresponds with the 48-star flag -- the rows are not staggered as they are on the 50-star flag.

Corrected entry: At the beginning of the scene where Moneypenny is using the virtual reality suite to simulate her seduction by Bond, her nose is quite distinctive - narrow and upturned at the end. When she kisses Bond, the tip of her nose is smaller and rounded.
Correction: The two shots are at different angles and in two different locations in the room. Her nose simply looks different depending on the angle and lighting conditions. The actress did not get rhinoplasty between shots.

The Living Daylights (1987)
Corrected entry: The wheel of Bond's car is cutting no more than 4-5 cm into the ice. Nevertheless the ice cut is 15-20 cm deep. And it's not just broken off by the weight of the police car. It is a totally clean cut, so the ice was cut with a tool which reached deep into the ice.
Correction: Your conclusion is based on your knowledge of how the filmmakers produced the cut in the ice. The reality is that lake ice is treacherous and is strongest near the surface. Bond makes a cut on the surface of the ice, so the ice is weakened along this cut line. Add the weight of a car on top, and absolutely the ice might give, and cleanly at that.

Corrected entry: The Brooklyn Bridge only has one level - not two as they show during the bridge crossing scene.
Correction: The pedestrian access of the Brooklyn Bridge is along the center of the bridge, above the lanes of traffic. In other words, on another level.

Corrected entry: The beginning sequence set in Arkhangelsk, Russia, shows towering snow-capped mountains surrounding the chemical weapons facility. The Arkhangelsk region consists entirely of flat tundra.
Correction: The scene at the dam identifies the location as the "Arkangel Chemical Weapons Facility - USSR." The name "Arkangel" does not necessarily mean it's located in Arkhangelsk. Washington Mutual Bank, for instance, is not headquartered in either Washington state or the US capital.

Corrected entry: When Bond is captured in Isthmus City, he gets a bloody cut under his left ear, which heals overnight without a trace.
Correction: The cut is not under his ear, but on the side of his head (under his hair) where he is struck unconscious. When he falls unconscious, no cut can be seen on his face, which makes sense as Bond is unlikely to fall unconscious from a strike in the face.

Correction: Untrue. The drawing very clearly reads "April 14 1912".

Star Trek: Voyager (1995)
Corrected entry: In the scene where Captain Janeway and Neelix are trying to get to the bridge, they go into a turbolift, and they are speaking about the failure of the enviromental controls. Captain Janeway is scanning the turbolift with the tricorder, and she's holding the right margin of the turbolift's door. Meanwhile, Neelix starts to speak about spending his childhood in the Rinax marshlands, the hottest area in the sector, and he starts to go around in the turbolift in a circle. Note that when he finishes the circle and gets back to Janeway, the captain is still scanning with the tricorder in the same position as earlier, but this time she's holding the left margin of the turbolift door.
Correction: The camera tracks Neelix all the way around the turbolift without cutting away. The fact that Janeway is in a different position is not a mistake. She simply changed her position.

The Brady Bunch Movie (1995)
Corrected entry: When Jan is riding her bike to school, she hits Mr. Dittmeyer's car and him. When he is hit he acts like he is hurt, but he grabs the wrong side of his face.
Correction: Dittmeyer leans out of the car with the car phone in his right hand when Jan comes riding along. Her handlebar strikes the hand with the phone, which hits him in the face. This is why he holds the right side of his face.

Correction: He can't read minds. He hears thoughts. If Adam is not actively thinking it, then Peter wouldn't "hear" it. And Adam, being familiar with this particular skill, would know how to protect himself from it.
