Tomb Raider (2018)

Corrected entry: While swinging about and being thrown around in a rotted, rusted WWII era metal plane, Lara does not receive any cuts or bruises. The only injury she receives is a branch in her side after parachuting through a forest.

Correction: As implausible as it is, this would not qualify as a mistake. She just got very lucky.

Power Rangers (2017)

Correction: She fell into water. The height of the fall is never shown so we can't really speculate how far down it was, but it's very reasonable that the water broke her fall without hurting her.

The Lone Ranger (2013)

Corrected entry: At the end of the film when the train crashes off the bridge, the bad guy is dragged down underwater with the freight wagons and drowns. The water is shown to be very deep, but when Tonto looks over the edge we can see the steam locomotive and coaches only half submerged in the river, indicating that it's not that deep. (02:14:30)

Correction: That is because the train is still sinking in the water. It had air escaping and had resistance. It wouldn't sink to the bottom of the river instantly. And some of the carts were even shown to be partly floating.

God's Not Dead (2014)

Correction: That's because he portrays himself as an atheist throughout the movie, so everybody thinks he is. Its not instill towards the end that it's discovered that he actually does believe in God, but hates him.

Corrected entry: In the wide shot of the supplies being blown up, the mines are placed around the pile. The first few mines go off in the right places, but the explosion comes from underneath the pile.

Correction: This is on purpose. Yes, there were mines around the pile, designed to trigger the explosions and kill anyone around it. But they also put mines under the pile to be triggered by the explosions of the others. Several tactical reasons for this, but most notably to destroy the supplies rather than it fall into enemy hands and be used against the Careers. This was a trap and a safekeeping. Had the trap gone off and the supplies not been destroyed, any tributes not killed by the trap could still get to the supplies and use them against the Careers.

50 First Dates (2004)

Corrected entry: When Henry gives Lucy the bouquet of lillies, he also hands her a gift with a bow on it. When Lucy's dad asks what it is, she tells him its a videotape. How did she know this without opening it?

Pjpodemski

Correction: A VHS tape has a very distinctive feel and sound and weight to it when held. Even in gift wrap, and even in a box, just about anybody who's ever held a VHS could obviously tell if one was in a package they held. She could just tell by the feel of it.

The Hunger Games (2012)

Corrected entry: In the scene when Katniss cuts the branch with the Tracker Jackers, the branch falls down with the swarm attacking those on the ground. Katniss climbs down from the tree, and the Trackers are all instantly gone.

Joseph Long

Correction: Because the people in the ground getting stung took off running for their lives and in pain. The tracker jackers chased them and left the hive behind.

Quantom X

Correction: Everything in the game arena is artificial and is created, controlled, and continually changed as needed by the game technicians. Just like the killer mutts seen at the end, the tracker jackers were created artificially by computers and were added and removed instantly. The gamers put the hive in the tree after Katniss was trapped there so it could be used as a weapon (Rue pointed it out to her). Earlier, when Katniss escaped the fire, that was also an environmental condition created by the gamers, and once it served its purpose (to steer her back to the other tributes), it was extinguished and the damage repaired. The mocking jays that Katniss and Rue heard in the trees were also artificial.

Sex Tape (2014)

Corrected entry: The whole plot is a big mistake. When you upload to iCloud you can delete it. When you delete it, it will be deleted from all synchronized devices too as soon as they go on-line.

Correction: But he wasn't using iCloud but some other app called Frank something. And did not know he could do that, as he later discovered from Howard. He kept the video on his home computer and removed it from there after their son's presentation towards the end.

Fantastic Four (2005)

Corrected entry: Did anyone ever stop to wonder how Ben Grimm turned himself back into the Thing for the climatic final battle scene - without Victor Von Doom's assistance? Remember, earlier in the movie, Reed Richards couldn't get enough power to the machine, which is overheard by Von Doom through the cameras he has planted in the lab. Von Doom (whose body is now like a charged capacitor) had to supply the extra power needed to change the Thing back to normal...so how did Ben get the machine to work without him?

Correction: If you'll remember earlier in the film, Reed tried the machine on himself when he did not have enough power. Instead of fixing him, it made his mutation get worse. So when not having enough power, the machine had the opposite effect that was intended. When Doom gave it the power needed, it turned Ben human, so it's logical to assume that without efficient power when using it without Doom, the machine would have the effect on Ben of mutating him once again into The Thing.

Salt (2010)

Corrected entry: When Salt pulls out the data stick to stop the nuclear launch, she is shot just below her right shoulder, with enough force that the bullet goes straight through. However, a few seconds later it is revealed that she was wearing a bulletproof vest the whole time, which would have made penetration by the bullet impossible.

Correction: Not if it was armor piercing rounds.

Prom Night (1980)

Corrected entry: Robin falls backwards out of a window from the top of the house and she dies. In a following shot of her, her chest is rising and falling.

Correction: That just means she didn't die instantly. She did have bad bodily damage and appeared to be slashed up by the glass quite a bit, probably even the neck. But she only fell from a couple stories up. That would very well have killed her, but not necessarily instantly, and she may have kept breathing for a few moments.

The Hangover (2009)

Corrected entry: The guys spend the majority of the night on their crazy adventure which lasts well into the wee hours of the early morning. So how did they find the time to completely trash their hotel room?

Correction: They woke up in their hotel room didn't they? So the had to come back at some point to fall asleep, even bringing the tiger with them. So obviously they partied for a bit before passing out and locked the tiger in their bathroom.

Ghost Rider (2007)

Correction: The guy is not dead. Ghost Rider burned his soul. In other words subjected him to all the sins he had committed in his life all at once to feel the pain. This didn't kill the guy but rather left him in a more catatonic state, his eyes glazed over. But very much alive to wallow in his own pain as punishment.

Paul (2011)

Corrected entry: Graeme and Clive are both British, yet Graeme uses the American pronunciation of the word "router" even though he used the British pronunciation of the word "schedule" only moments before.

THGhost

Correction: Just because he is British doesn't mean he talks exactly like most Brits all the time with ever word. He's a nerd/geek, and came to America with his buddy for Comic Con even. It's not at all inconceivable that through watching TV or hanging out with other Americans from time to time he picked up on some of the American speech patterns. Remember the actor, Simon Pegg is in fact British, so it's likely the way he really talks. The pronunciation was natural.

Quantom X

Corrected entry: How does a race of people who never age and stay in sexual maturity for hundreds of years only manage to have a population of 600 people after being on the planet for 300 years?

Correction: By using moderation. They desire to maintain a small community and personal relations. With such medical and physical abilities, it would not take long at all for their planet and civilisations to become way over populated, this increasing the chances for disease and causing food shortages. Sure, they could easily make a huge population in a short time, but that would have very negative effects. And moderation in sexual behaviors is no doubt probably one of the reasons the villains of the movie rejected that culture and left the planet.

World War Z (2013)

Corrected entry: A major plot point of the movie is that the zombies are attracted to any sound. Yet despite all the noise from military helicopters patrolling Jerusalem and commercial jetliners landing at the airport, it's only the sound of singing that triggers the zombie attack on the city.

Correction: Before the singing and the loud speaker started, there was a lot of noise, yes. But it was more spread out, noise all over the city and all around. This would be more than enough to confuse the zombies, but they were still attracted to the city and trying to get in as shown with the massive horde all around the walls. But when the loud speaker began playing, it was very loud over the other noise, and had lots of high pitch squeals blasting out that got the zombies' attention even more. This acted like a focal point for the horde and drew them all to that one spot rather than all around, thus allowing the zombies to get over the wall since they had a focal point to attack.

Noah (2014)

Corrected entry: According to Genesis, the animals considered 'pure' shall be taken by the 7's onto the Ark, and the 'impure' shall be taken by 2's. In the movie there are 2 of every animal.

Allan Grauengaard Hedelain

Correction: This is the movie deviating from the source material. No different than how changes were made in Prince of Egypt or the Harry Potter movies. Yes, it is different that how the book says it, but that does not make it a mistake in the movie. By site policy, differences between a movie and its source material are not considered to be mistakes.

Quantom X

Corrected entry: Rambo throws a rock at the helicopter's windshield and it cracks. Helicopter windshields are made of Plexiglas, which is impossible to break with a little rock.

Tony

Correction: Throw a rock hard enough and plexiglass will still crack. Tempered glass, like windshields in cars, will look shattered if hit by a rock, as they're designed to not have huge slabs of glass come in to cut people up. Side windows don’t fall apart due to a plastic layer in the middle to keep it together, but still shatters. If it was lexan, it would not have cracked, probably. But it is doubtful they were making helicopter windshields out of lexan back then. Without knowing exactly what the windshield was made of, it can’t be assumed that it would not crack from a thrown rock.

Noah (2014)

Corrected entry: I don't know more about the animal kingdom or other species shown in the movie. They are all shown hibernated with some kind of a herb. Later when Emma Watson is pregnant, moments before boarding the ark she delivers two baby girls... Did all the animals virtually hibernate for nine months? Or did Emma give a premature delivery to the babies, which is highly unlikely from the face of the babies shown? Also there are certain species that even pass away several life cycles during this course of time. And if they did survive their usual cycle how did they survive without consuming any food?

dhavami

Correction: God plays his hand heavily in this movie. From making an entire forest and river spring from a single spot of ash, having Noah's grandfather make a wall of fire to consume an entire army, and not to mention the sudden world flood from an unprecedented amount of rain in just a couple of hours or so, or less even. It's not much of a stretch at all to say God kept the animals in hibernation for 9 months or more, and kept them in good nutrition to stay that way through his power. Sure it wasn't said in the movie, but look at all the other stuff and you could easily say that it was God that did it. Thus this can not be justified as a mistake.

Quantom X

Corrected entry: Hauk puts on Snake's wrist clock and tells Snake he has 22hrs:59min:59seconds to return with the President's briefcase, because the summit the President was going to ends in 22 hours and Snake has to complete the mission in that time. If Snake must return within 22 hours, why would his timer be set for the extra hour? (00:22:00)

DavidRTurner

Correction: Because at exactly that time, the president would be useless for the summit if he was not somehow present with the tape in time to start the piece talks. If Snake would even been a few minutes later getting the President there with the tape, he was as good as dead anyways. Plus there's no evidence that Hauk really had any intention of honoring his agreement to free Snake anyways, but did at the end due to the President showing gratitude at least.
