Wedding Crashers (2005)

Corrected entry: While John and Claire are riding bikes to the beach, towels are seen on the back of the bikes, but once they get to the beach, the towels are gone. When they sit on the beach, they sit in the sand.

Correction: If the towels blew off the bikes, then they would be gone, and they would have to sit in the sand. Since we do not see the towels anymore after this, there is no mistake made.

True Lies (1994)

Corrected entry: When Arnold is being followed by the bad guys and uses the cigarette-pack camera to watch them, the lens is toward the bottom of the pack as he holds it. However when he puts the pack on the sink in the bathroom later, although it's in an upside-down position compared to before, the feed in his sunglasses is still right-side up as before.

Correction: Considering the technology they used to put the camera in there, it is likely that the sunglasses can have the image flipped automatically when viewed, much the same way that camera phones flip the image when viewed from the other side.

Tremors (1990)

Corrected entry: Rhonda does a pretty good job on keeping her truck on the road, especially considering her head is below the wheel.

Correction: Yes, she does. But since the road is straight, and we only see this scene of her driving that way for about 5 seconds, it's not hard to believe that she could hold the wheel straight for that short amount of time.

Correction: If you look very closely you can see the real driver.

Tremors (1990)

Corrected entry: When we first see Val and Earl in Chang's market, Val tells a joke about surviving World War 3 to Burt; you can obviously tell that Earl starts laughing before Val gets to the punch line. He quickly takes a huge swig of beer to cover it up.

Correction: If Earl had already heard Val tell the joke before or that knew that Val was going to make the joke, which is likely considering they are friends, he could be reacting to the punch line that he knows is coming.

Tremors (1990)

Corrected entry: When Earl and Val stop to warn the sandblasters that there is a 'psycho killer' on the loose, Earl is talking frantically but if you look at Val, he doesn't look at all phased - surprising considering he just found half a chewed human head and a herd of chewed sheep.

Correction: Earl is the type of guy who would be acting frantic about the dead guy they just found, but Val appears to be in shock, not un-phased by it. This fits his character like a glove, as is noticed when he calmly (he's in shock) says that they waited one day too long to leave town.

Airplane (1980)

Corrected entry: It is obvious that the two girl scouts who have the fight are stuntmen dressed as women.

Correction: That's the gag. Over half of the "special" effects in the whole film are deliberately cheesy and poorly done. For example, the sound of the springboard that Ted jumps off of in the disco, or the sound of propellers on a jet when viewed from outside.

Corrected entry: Near the end when Biff is waxing the BMW, it is close to the garage door. But when the family goes back inside less than a minute elapses and suddenly Biff brings in the book shipment and then gives Marty the keys to the truck. When Marty goes out the front door, the BMW has now suddenly moved to the far side of the driveway. There wasn't time for Biff to finish waxing, accept the book shipment, and move the BMW in less than a minute.

Correction: It is never stated that Biff finished waxing the BMW. As for the movement of the car, if he was moving it when the delivery person arrived, all he had to do was get out of the now-moved car, sign a form, and bring in the box. You could do this in a minute.

Corrected entry: The computer that the T-1000 reads in the police car at the beginning states that John is 10 years old and was born in February of 1985. Also Sarah Conner is said to be 29 in this film, she was about 19 when she had John, also reinforcing the fact that John is supposed to be 10 years old. It is obvious both by the appearance of the actor and the behaviour of the character that he would be about 14 or 15 years old rather than the prescribed 10.

Correction: How is it obvious? He might very well "look" older, but his mother was arrested for blowing up a building, and sent to an institution for her story about the future. He has gone from his mom dating all these guys and training him for the future war, which she told him all about, to living with a foster family. His behavior is likely the result of the fact that he was pyscologically damaged, and that nobody ever really gave a care about him after his mom was taken away, as he is rebelling.

Clerks 2 (2006)

Corrected entry: In the first Clerks DVD if you watch the Alternate Ending you see that Dante gets shot and dies, if they were to keep that ending we would have never seen Clerks 2. Its weird to think about.

Correction: This isn't trivia, it is just a random fact. It is also not about Clerks 2, but the original. If anything, this belongs listed with the first film.

Romeo + Juliet (1996)

Corrected entry: When Mercutio shows the chariot and makes it disappear, you can see the chariot for a split second when he opens his hand.

Correction: Everything that disappears from someone's hands is done by "sleight of hand", which is removing it without being seen. The fact that you see it for a split second only means Mercutio is not an expert magician, but not a movie mistake.

Correction: Almost every body is subject to involuntary movements, as the brain dies, because it releases energy through the nervous system, most often in the form of small movements such as twitching, blinking, or even shaking.

Better Off Dead (1985)

Corrected entry: When Roy challenges Lane to ski the K-12, he tells Lane the competition is at high noon, but when they are both at the top of the slope ready to go, the sun is setting. Why would the sun be setting at noon?

Correction: Lane is considerably late for the competetion, as is mentioned by someone saying "it looks like he is going to be a no-show." Being early January, the sun could be setting in the afternoon, and since Lane is late by an unmentioned amount of time, it is easily explainable.

Better Off Dead (1985)

Corrected entry: Lane's friend makes mention that the town of Greendale is just a pitstop on the road to a ski area. Before the big race, he also mentions that they live in Northern California. The Space Shuttle kit which Lane's little brother receives in the mail has a ZIP code of 93065, which is Simi Valley, not far from Los Angeles.

Correction: Character mistake, not a movie mistake. Mail can still be delivered if the zip code is wrong, as long as the complete address is correct.

Demolition Man (1993)

Corrected entry: At the end of the highway chase between Spartan and Phoenix, when Spartan's police car crashed through the windows of the S.A.P.D., you can see that the glass broke before contact was made.

Correction: The car slams into the curb where the "landscaped area" is in front of the SAPD first, causing it to launch through the sign. If he hit the curb first, it would send debris flying forward, and it would only take one piece to begin to shatter the glass a split second before the car hits it.

Corrected entry: In the waxing scene when Dave says "you look like a man-o-lantern" and you see the shot of Andy, only one nipple is waxed. But in the bathroom scene with Beth, he has both nipples waxed.

Correction: Look again. Steve Carrell really did have his chest waxed for that scene, and all scenes of his waxed chest were filmed after that. It is the same pattern in all the shots.

Inside Man (2006)

Corrected entry: Clive Owen escapes arrest by building a false wall in the supply room and hiding there for a week, yet none of the regular bank employees seem to notice that their supply room was now about 3 feet smaller.

Correction: The supply room is pretty large with lots of shelves and boxes, and since most employees do not go in there that often during normal working hours, it is very likely that with all the chaos of coming back to work after a hostage/robbery situation, that they were just a little to busy checking out bank records/the vault/etc. to notice.

The Cable Guy (1996)

Corrected entry: During the basketball game Chip comes in after one player gets an injury. Before they even tell him what the teams are, they start playing again. (00:22:20 - 00:23:35)

Correction: Chip tells Jack Black's character that he is on Steven's team before they start playing, and then they give him time to warm up. During this time, they spread out and stand in two separate groups, one per team. All Chip had to do was look at who Steven was standing beside to know who was on his team. And since Chip is a stalker, he more than likely already knew who was on Steven's team, as he followed them to the gym.

Corrected entry: Why use an Asian elephant in a movie based entirely in Africa?

Correction: The gentleman from the consulate is a collector of rare animals. There is no reason he could not have one there, and it is the only elephant we see.

Cast Away (2000)

Corrected entry: In Cast Away, Tom Hanks calls a ball by its brand name, Wilson. In Big, his child character does the same early on when playing ball with Billy. He calls a ball, Spaulding.

Correction: This is a little too simple to be trivia, especially since it was not Tom Hanks' character saying this in Big.

Corrected entry: When Richard Gere is talking to the mothman on the phone in his hotel toom, he turns off all the lights and closes the curtains so it is completely dark. However, he doesn't turn off the telly, which was previously on, and should be producing a lot of light.

Correction: Actually, he closes the curtains first, and then shuts off the lights. If you watch closely, the scene cuts from him being on the bed straight to him standing at the window to close the curtains. He had plenty of time to shut off the TV on his way to the window. Just because you don't see him do it does not mean it could not have been done.
