Hocus Pocus (1993)

Corrected entry: Zach can't die until the end of the movie when the witches are killed. He says since they are dead his soul was set free. That should have been the case when they were hanged. Zach should have been set free then instead.

Correction: The witches were not truly dead when they were hanged, as Winifred had cast a spell to keep them "in limbo" until a virgin lit the candle. When they die at the end of the movie, no magic powers are used to offer them a chance at new life, thus making them officially deceased.

Hackers (1995)

Corrected entry: When Dade, Freak and Cereal killer go to Lord Nikon's Place and are watching TV, they begin by watching a news report about Richard Gill. Watch the report, it is the same scene from when after they bust Joey, which has not happened yet. In the background Joey is being taken down the stairs, with his mother behind and the computer boxes, also the dialog is exactly the same.

Correction: Since it is physically impossible to show two scenes at once, the director obviously had to show them separate. It was meant to show you where the guys were during Joey's bust, and why they didn't know about it right away (Razor and Blade interrupted the transmission). The entire scene is then shown to show you what they missed while watching "Hack the Planet".

Corrected entry: When fighting on the rooftop, a ninja throws Raphael's weapons over the side. After Raph wakes up on the farm, he has them back. There was no time to look for them between the fight and escaping in the van.

Correction: Casey was watching the whole fight from an adjacent rooftop, which is why he showed up in the first place, to help Raphael. Perhaps he collected them from the street and placed them in his bag, to give to Raphael when he found him.

In the original screenplay and a cut scene Donny's actually making and sharpening some sais for Raph in the barn. Perhaps he made a new pair.

Hook (1991)

Corrected entry: As Peter first enters Neverland, look behind him and you can see a mannequin half-covered by a blanket laying on the ground.

Correction: This is not a valid mistake, especially for Continuity, as it does not change between shots. Who's to say the Lost Boys did not make a dummy of some sort for any number of reasons?

Hook (1991)

Corrected entry: During the food fight, Peter is hit in the face with the food constantly, yet when it shows him at the end of the food fight, the area around his eyes is completely untouched as if he were wearing goggles. This is the same with several Lost Boys.

Correction: Since all of the food is imaginary, i.e. you have to imagine it to see it, this technically is not a movie mistake, as they can imagine it anyway they want.

Hook (1991)

Correction: Remember they are in Neverland, a land a magic/fantasy, where normal rules do not apply, which is why Peter can also fly, etc.

A Christmas Story (1983)

Corrected entry: Ming the Merciless and Flash Gordon are included in the end credits but are NOT in the film. As explained on the DVD audio commentary, Peter Billingsly says it was a cut scene. Obviously the credits were not cut to reflect that change.

Correction: Credit's are not always cut to reflect editing changes. Since they still initially filmed the scene, included or not, they can choose to still "credit" said charcters since they did film them.

A Christmas Story (1983)

Corrected entry: When Ralphie imagines himself saving his family from Black Bart with his BB gun, his mother says she knew Bart would be back. In the very next shot, Ralphie addresses her as "Dad."

Correction: Again, this is a daydream sequence, entirely made up. Normal rules do not apply to dream sequences. Ralphie can do/say whatever because it is his dream.

A Christmas Story (1983)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Ralphie is imagining himself as a blind man, you can see that his mother's hand (on his chest) changes places with almost every shot. In some cases, there may be time for her to move it, but most of the time, the shots change too quickly for her to have time to shift her hand.

Correction: Since this entire segment is happening in Ralphie's mind, it is possible that he did worry about specific details during his daydream.

Corrected entry: When they are all driving in downtown Chicago, Ferris is not staying within the lines of the street at all, he's about 1/3 into the next lane to the left, yet none of the other cars seem to mind.

Correction: Cars don't have feelings, so of course they don't mind. If you mean the drivers, the scene is not that long, and we cannot make out their faces enough to see if they are agitated at Ferris' bad driving or not.
