Continuity mistake: When Stefan starts crying at the football, Marge puts some music on and Homer's Sadgasm band appears on the radio. At this point, Stefan's wine glass is in front of the couch on the floor. Stefan then says he needs whale songs - Marge puts an "Oceans of the Sea" CD in the CD player and the wine glass in front of the couch suddenly vanishes.

Continuity mistake: After Marge says "How did the pig tracks get on the ceiling?", she turns her head to the left and opens her mouth, but in the shot that follows, her mouth is suddenly closed. (00:17:50)

Janek is then shown looking downwards with his lips clenched shut and his eyes are clenched a bit. In the next shot, his mouth is suddenly open and unclenched, looking straight forward with no time to do so.

Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: When the 8-bit Simpsons are headed for the furnace, they are almost half way down the line to the furnace. When the level starts, the 8-bit Simpsons are suddenly next to the platform Homer and Bart stand on, hardly anywhere near where they were a moment ago.

Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: The wall behind the 8-bit Simpsons in the "Escape from Krusty Island" game is grey, but as the level starts, the wall behind them is black.

Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: After completing the level, the Simpsons arriving in the theatre. No-one is shown in the ticket box, but when it goes back to the game, Professor Frink has suddenly appeared in the ticket box.

Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: In the final part of this level where you have to save the 8-bit Simpsons from being thrown into the furnace, if there are only a few seconds left on the clock, the 8-bit Simpsons will appear next to the furnace. If you then pull a lever, a huge curtain will close the furnace. As the curtain is placed, the 8-bit Simpsons will have vanished from in front of the furnace, even if the lever is pulled only a few seconds before the clock finishes counting down.

Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: In the wide overview shot of Homer and Bart exiting the elevator into the theatre, the 8-bit Simpsons aren't there. A few shots later, the 8-bit Simpsons suddenly appear.

Continuity mistake: Bargain Bin: Throughout the opening cutscene inside the Game Engine, all five Simpsons are shown together, but in the shot where Bart says "And poorly rendered" and Marge says "Which one is supposed to be me?", Lisa has vanished and reappears in the next shot.

Continuity mistake: When the Minion dressed as a maid answers the door, there is nothing next to it. When the shot returns to the door after the Minion has been taken, a umbrella and a holder for the umbrella have suddenly appeared. (00:21:50)

Continuity mistake: When Doctor Nefario is having a send off, he begins to blast off in his scooter very slowly. The shot after he says "This may take a while", the Minions begin to leave the area, yet in the next shot, the other Minions have vanished completely. There was nowhere near any time for them to have left the area that quickly. (00:21:10)

Continuity mistake: When Gru is making balloons with his balloon gun thing he attaches an inflated unicorn balloon to the door frame and an exterior shot of the front lawn is shown. This shot shows a playhouse on the right hand side of the lawn. Later on, when Lucy arrives at the house, the playhouse is no longer on the lawn. (00:03:30 - 00:07:45)

Continuity mistake: In the opening scene at the Arctic Circle, two of the workers are shown playing poker. The player on the right pushes the coin pile to the left side of the container. A couple of shots later, after the player on the left has claimed victory, the coin pile has suddenly moved to the middle. (00:01:35)
