Continuity mistake: Grand Theft Scratchy: In the second residential district, Marge has to jump onto the roof of a radio station and put Maggie in the air vents so she can switch the station. When she is put in the vent, she is not in the same place as she was when Marge put her in. She is almost a few feet away from the entrance of the vent instead of being next to the entrance.

Gru triggers another incorrect key and some darts are launched at him. The smoke is still there, but as he falls over, most of the smoke on his face has gone. Continuity mistake: When Gru follows Eduardo through the corridors, he stumbles to find him dancing along a floor key pad to unlock the lift. It is also shown that if a key is pushed incorrectly, the key turns red and a weapon is launched at the person on the key pad. When he begins to activate the key pad, the first key he steps on is the key second to the left on the first row and continues the rest of the pattern. Gru then attempts to do the exact same sequence. The first key he steps on is the key second to the left on the second row, despite the fact that Eduardo actually triggered the first sound effect with the key on the first row, second to the left. Despite this, the sound effect is still correctly triggered. (01:03:40)

Continuity mistake: Just before Carrie is told Brody is going to Bluemont Park, Carrie is shown re-watching Brody's welcoming ceremony on her laptop with the speech the Vice President gave and the speech Brody gave. The footage Carrie is watching on her laptop isn't the same as when the ceremony was broadcast earlier in the episode. The footage on the laptop has the Vice President saying "Sergeant Brody, you're a man who's endured a terrible ordeal" followed by Brody walking up the podium saying "Thank you, Mr. Vice President." But what was shown earlier was the Vice President welcoming Brody home, nothing along the lines of "Sergeant Brody, you're a man who's endured a terrible ordeal." Also, the length of time Brody spent walking to the podium and saying "Thank you, Mr. Vice President" has decreased when re-watching the ceremony on the radio - the actual ceremony showed Brody walking up to the podium for about 3-4 seconds followed by a 1-2 second delay before saying "Thank you, Mr. Vice President", but re-watching it on the laptop, Brody walks up to the podium and says "Thank you, Mr. Vice President" all within a split second of replying. They are all on the ground when Cletus starts talking to him. Cletus then says "Look what I can do with my thumb" and the crowd is suddenly half way up the rope with no time to do so.

Marge then talks for a bit and the shot returns to Homer saying "Way back." Outside the window suddenly shows a background that is partially brighter and raining.

Continuity mistake: After the Alcoholics Anonymous meeting runs out of the church, Barney starts yelling and a huge crowd is visible behind him. Bumblebee Man is standing a few meters away from Barney on the end of a row. Next shot, Otto and Moe have suddenly appeared next to him as well as a huge crowd.

Continuity mistake: When the Alcoholics Anonymous run out of the church, Barney yells out "I can't take another minute in this dome!" and charges towards the dome. In the overview shot, the church is directly behind Barney. In the following shot that shows Barney hitting the dome, the background has changed completely. The church is no longer there and two houses have suddenly appeared.

Continuity mistake: When the two deer enter through the cabin window to help Homer and Marge, a trail of snow is visible behind them and in front of the window. In an instant close-up of the smaller deer, half of the snow has instantly melted and vanished. Then all the water has vanished and it's just snow. Then a few shots later, the snow vanishes completely.
