Continuity mistake: In the scene where William Fichtner is shown first leaving his trailer and picking up litter in the amusement park, his gloved hand switches from his right hand to his left then back to his right again before he starts talking to the couple. (00:05:40)
Character mistake: The officers count the inmates and say there's 10 missing. There are indeed 10 inmates hiding in the pool. However, Pennsatucky and Chang had escaped the prison. The officers counted Linda as an inmate, who had been hiding in Litchfield the whole season, and wasn't on the list. That would make it 11 people missing, not 10.
The Bridge - S1-E10
Revealing mistake: Agent Coulson turns the steering wheel several times despite the car being on a straight street.
Factual error: It's Christmas Eve 1925. Tommy and his son leave a mince pie for 'Santa and Rudolph', but there was no reindeer called Rudolph until the 1930s. The character's author hadn't even graduated by 1925, and only began writing a book about a red-nosed reindeer in 1939.
Continuity mistake: During the "Nibblin' with Nimbus" scene eggs suddenly appear in the pan. (00:17:47)
Continuity mistake: After spotting Lagertha's boats, Torvi points at the boats and lowers her pointing arm. Another shot later and she is still pointing and lowers her arm again.
The Governor's Pleasure - S3-E1
Plot hole: The governor refuses to open the door for the prisoners when they have Vera hostage, and you can hear her saying "no" "return to your units" over the radio, which Channing had to overrule. Later on in the show somehow Vera doesn't know the governor refused and has to find out from Channing. But Vera was there next to the radio the whole time. They use normal radios without earpieces so there is no way she didn't hear. (00:38:05)
Factual error: When printing the image of the painting, Stella uses the printer driver "Microsoft XPS Document Writer" - which would save the output to a file. However, she still gets a printout from the printer in the office. (00:02:30)
Suggested correction: Microsoft XPS Document Writer creates a document in XPS format then prints said document. I use it at work. It works in the same way as "print to PDF".
The Sins of the Father - S4-E9
Factual error: A character is revealed as having been hypnotised into committing murder against their will. This is not possible. (00:05:20)
House of the Rising Son - S1-E2
Continuity mistake: Near the end of the episode, as Klaus is watching Hayley sleeping, Hayley changes from sleeping on her side to sleeping upright in closeup.
Chapter 13 - S1-E13
Other mistake: When Lucas and Zoe are at the restaurant, Zoe steals the staff list from the kitchens. It is an established fact that a waitress named Stephanie works in the restaurant, however when the camera closes on the list, her name is not listed among the other staff members. (00:32:40)
Continuity mistake: Bash takes his shirt off revealing the wound on his right arm. He starts wrapping it again with cloth and the scene cuts to Kenna. It cuts back quickly to Bash and his bandage is fully tied. There is no way he could accomplish this one handed.
Continuity mistake: Bunchy is serving burgers. Picks up ketchup in his left hand and mustard in the right. Camera pans from a different angle and he is putting back the mustard and picking up the ketchup that he already had. (00:28:11)
Kreplach and a Tiny Tush - S3-E7
Revealing mistake: When Gill called Kristy she picked up, but if you look at her phone someone is still calling. (00:02:20)
Factual error: The Secret Service Special Agent identifies himself to Mr. Houserman as a Treasury Department Agent in the employ of the United States Secret Service. After 9/11, the US Secret Service was moved from the Treasury Department to the Department of Homeland Security. (00:05:00)
Other mistake: The URL seen on Siobhan's laptop (https://internet-search.comm7986/index.html) is obviously a fake URL.
Episode #1.4 - S1-E4
Revealing mistake: The tabloid story with the plight of the Latimers just came out, and various characters are looking at it. In the bit when David Tennant tosses on the desk his copy of the Herald, the second paragraph of the second column goes "Sitting in the family home, surrounded by pictures and mementos of Danny" etc. It is the same text that was at the very beginning of the article when the store owner was looking at it. The newspaper is a prop with the same text in a loop. (00:35:00 - 00:36:30)
Factual error: In the last minutes, the show looks forward to future challenges, in effect a preview of the never-made 3rd series. The oracle says they must find "the golden fleece, woven long ago by the Stygian witches." But the golden fleece, or indeed any fleece, is not a woven fabric. (Today's fleece is a modern invention).
Continuity mistake: Throughout the episode Lieutenant Abbie Mills' lapel mic changes from scene to scene. It goes from the Motorola Commander Speaker Mic to a standard Motorola mic without the orange emergency button, volume control, 16 channel selector knob and 2 programmable buttons.
