Continuity mistake: At the very end of the previous episode after Proteus had messed with Wolverine's sense of reality, Wolverine is shown whimpering in an open area. When Wolverine is shown at the beginning of this episode still whimpering, he has suddenly moved next to a treeline. Continuity mistake: When Wolverine, Rogue and Beast are approaching Proteus in the Blackbird, in the first shot you can see through the windows that Wolverine is wearing a jacket. When the shot changes, the jacket is suddenly gone. (00:13:05)
Answer: It appears a number of factors led to its demise. It was originally intended to air for 65 episodes, but its popularity extended that. However, there were continual production quality problems, issues regarding whether the content was suitable enough for children, as well as financial considerations that finally led to it being ended.
