Storm Front: Part 1 - S5-E7

Revealing mistake: In the opening shot of the Washington Monument, the monument is very noticeably shaking left and right as the camera pans up (likely indicating that the monument and the background are a composite image). (00:01:00)

Bloodlines - S5-E6

Factual error: When Rogue tricks the Friends of Humanity into firing on their own helicopters, two men are shown to be immediately parachuting from the helicopter at an altitude of at most, 100 feet. This wouldn't really be possible because jumping from such a low altitude would require the person to immediately deploy the parachute, which in this case would cause the parachute to be torn to shreds by the helicopter's rotor. If a person jumped from that altitude and deployed the parachute after free falling enough to clear the rotor, they would have fallen too far for the parachute to have been effective in allowing them to land safely, if the parachute even opened before they hit the ground. Bloodlines - S5-E6

Continuity mistake: When Rogue is talking to Wolverine through her watch communicator, in the closeup shots the watch is shown to be around her glove, on her wrist. In the wide shot, the watch is either around her sleeve just beneath her glove or it has disappeared entirely. (00:09:00)

No Mutant Is an Island - S5-E4

Continuity mistake: When Sarah resuscitates Cyclops, they are by the edge of the swimming pool. When the shot changes to Cyclops blasting through the screen door, the pool is nowhere to be seen, nor is the puddle of water that was under Cyclops in the previous shot. (00:16:10)

Trivia: Following Disney's acquisition of Fox, the creators of this show pitched a revival to stream on Disney+. Producer Larry Houston has said he would come out of retirement specifically to work on this. The revival - titled X-Men '97 - was announced on Disney+ Day in November of 2021 for a 2024 premiere date, with much of the surviving original cast returning.

Show generally

Question: Does anyone know why Gambit was featured less and less in episodes as the show went on? He was one of the most popular characters in not just X-Men, but all of Marvel Comics around the time this series first aired, so unless it had something to do with his voice actor's contract, it seems odd they wouldn't have utilized him more.

Answer: Chris Potter, the original Gambit voice actor, did indeed quit the role in the 4th season. His last episode was The Phalanx Covenant Part 1 so it seems reasonable that Fox would limit the use of the character even though it was recast. It doesn't appear that Potter left the role due to animosity, he stated in an interview that he wished to play Gambit in the first live action X-Men film.
