Continuity mistake: When Bishop is shown returning to his original timeline, he is wearing the temporal band on his right arm. However, when he was sent back to his timeline at the end of the episode Days of Future Past: Part 2, he was not wearing the band because Rogue tore it off his arm and crushed it, which is what caused him to be sent back in the first place. Continuity mistake: When Wolverine is breaking open the door to the space center, he leaves a long tear around the handle. When the shot changes, the tear has disappeared, and then returns in the next shot. (00:07:05)
Answer: It appears a number of factors led to its demise. It was originally intended to air for 65 episodes, but its popularity extended that. However, there were continual production quality problems, issues regarding whether the content was suitable enough for children, as well as financial considerations that finally led to it being ended.
