Continuity mistake: After Chandler gets back from the strip club, when he throws his jacket and scarf they both land on the rug between the recliner and coffee table, but when Chandler sits in his recliner the jacket is gone and the scarf is lying on the floor on the opposite side of the table.

Continuity mistake: When Ross tells Chandler and Rachel that he's running out to buy name tags for his party, in the next shot the water bottle beside Rachel does not have its cap on, but it cuts to Rachel's closeup and the cap is on. Other differences can be seen as well, such as Rachel's hair and an extra utensil.

Continuity mistake: When Joanna stops Rachel from leaving work Rachel's holding her handbag and jacket, and there's still one bag hanging on the wall hook, but when Joanna mentions the "drinking binge" there are two bags hanging from the hook, then it's back to just one bag, yet when Joanna calls Sophie there's nothing on the hook and Rachel has both bags.

Continuity mistake: While Monica and Chandler confront Janine in Joey's apartment, we can see the drawing of the fire breathing dragon and the ape on the Empire State building on the Magna Doodle, then when Joey tells Chandler and Monica to leave because he needs to talk to Janine, the drawing differs - note the dragon's scales, its position, the building, etc.

Continuity mistake: When Rachel is at Ross' apartment she gets the blender and while she's standing at the window talking to Monica on the phone the kitchen door is closed, then it's wide open, and then closed again.

Continuity mistake: After Ross announces his tenure, when Rachel starts crying and tells him that she got fired and didn't get the other job, her right hand is up by her face, but in the next shot her right hand is holding the glass of champagne and it's her left hand up by her face.

Continuity mistake: When Ross and Joey wake from their nap on the couch while everyone else is watching them, Marvin the Martian stuffed doll is lying on the floor between the couch and wall, but in the closeups Marvin the Martian is on the couch.

Continuity mistake: During the mock Bamboozled game with Chandler and Ross, when Joey asks about the word triskaidekaphobia a bottle of Evian suddenly appears on the countertop oven, which vanishes and then reappears.
Continuity mistake: After Ross decides to go after Rachel, in the overhead shot all four of the cab's doors are closed, but when it cuts to Ross and Phoebe getting in and shutting their front doors suddenly both back passenger doors are inexplicably wide open, then when Ross shouts about missing seatbelts both back doors are closed again. Then when the guy gets into the back seat he shuts his door, but when he asks for the medallion number both back doors are open, and then they're closed again.
The One Where Heckles Dies - S2-E3
Continuity mistake: After Monica breaks the seashell lamp, when Phoebe says that she wants to believe Monica did it accidentally her right is arm up and points to Monica, but in the next shot it's Phoebe's left arm that's up while still pointing at Monica.
Answer: The statements that she's contradicting (that it is common, it happens to every guy, and it's not a big deal), are the things that a woman commonly says to a man who is suffering from erectile difficulty, typically to assuage his bruised ego. However, most men do not believe that these statements are true, as evidenced by Chandler's outburst. He's so caught up in the proof that women are lying about it that he gives himself away.
