Continuity mistake: When Bluto is looking through the window of the girls' bedroom, the shot from behind him shows his shoulders are just above the window sill. The shots from inside the room show him to be a lot higher than this. (00:38:35)

Other mistake: When Big Momma is taking a shower, you can clearly see that the shower head is a mirror, with the water coming only out of the top, and when Big Momma bends over, you can also see her reflection in the shower head. (00:12:00)

Continuity mistake: At the gas station that explodes, a car is lifted high in the left service bay, but is down on the floor when the building explodes. To try and fix this continuity error, a quick close-up shows the controls for the right bay's lift as Christine shoves the Camaro inside the right bay, smashing those controls. This should have no effect on the left lift (each lift is completely independent for safety), yet two quick close-ups (of the blonde guy, then his feet) show the car on the left is now coming down. But long before it could have traveled all the way down, the next shot is from outside as the building explodes with the car firmly on the floor. (01:15:55)

Continuity mistake: When Martin Lawrence tears the face mask and puts duct tape over it while cooking, it disappears when Mr. Roy comes for a visit just a few minutes later. (00:22:00 - 00:25:30)

Continuity mistake: When they show Flounder's face on the screen they throw beer cans at it and it gets soaked. When Otter gets up it is completely dry. (00:13:55)

Continuity mistake: After the struggle between D-Fens and the Korean store owner, a box of raisin bran and a box of maxi-pads can be seen lined up on the bottom shelf. D-Fens then whacks the shelf with the baseball bat, causing the two boxes to become angled and askew. The store owner says, "Take the money." and in the next shot the boxes are properly lined up again. (00:10:10)

Other mistake: When Kirk uses his hand phaser to melt the lock on the door in the hospital operating room, the phaser is not pointed directly at the lock. The beam leaves the phaser at an angle, which is probably not how the phaser would have been designed to operate. (01:25:20)

Continuity mistake: In the operating room, when Kirk uses a phaser to melt the lock, the hand he is holding the phaser in switches hands in the closeup shot. Additionally, the arm holding the weapon in the closeup is no longer in hospital scrubs, but a similarly colored sweatshirt. (01:25:20)

Continuity mistake: When Spartan and Huxley arrive at the cryogenics place to battle Phoenix and what remains of his gang, Phoenix sees them on the monitor walking into the building and you see Spartan on the left and Huxley on the right. The camera angle changes to an inside view and Spartan is now on the right. (01:38:35)

Continuity mistake: When Spartan and Huxley go to Raymond Cockto's place, Spartan shoots all of the monitors with a silver gun, yet when Spartan points the gun at Cockto's head, which we see on the surviving monitor, it's a black gun. (01:18:25)

Continuity mistake: When Phoenix first gets out he makes his way to a computer and the police come to arrest him. Phoenix takes one of the policeman and pushes his head through the side glass pane and walks away to fight the other officers, but when Phoenix goes back over to the computer the glass is not broken. (00:26:50 - 00:27:40)

Continuity mistake: When Spartan switches seats with Huxley in the police car, the outside shot shows him get into the back seat. When the shot switches to Huxley in the driver's seat, we can see the back and Spartan isn't seen anywhere in the car. (00:42:40)

Continuity mistake: When John Spartan is frozen in the cryochamber, at the beginning of the movie, if you watch during the credits - while the time is going by the small circular monitor that is on his chest and head, it changes from the left side to the right side of his chest and head in almost every shot. (00:10:10)

Continuity mistake: When the Blues Brothers park outside Mrs. Tarantino's house, the car's front wheels are almost level with the path to her front door. When they start the car to drive off a bit later, it is parked further back with its front bumper level with the path. (00:44:06)

Continuity mistake: Where Curtis is getting Elwood and Jake a drink of Jack Daniels, when he gets the bottle it's nearly full, but ten seconds later, after he has got some drinking glasses and starts to pour, it's almost empty. (00:15:45)

Continuity mistake: When the Blues Brothers go to persuade Matt and "Blue" Lou to rejoin the band, and they have just ordered their signature meals from Aretha Franklin, she goes to Matt in the kitchen to moan. Matt is cooking two burgers of some kind, but in a shot of Aretha 30 seconds or so later (when Matt says not to talk that way around his old lady), the burgers have moved and multiplied. (01:00:53)

Revealing mistake: After Jake topples down the stairs in the desk, the broken remnants of the desk are actually planks of balsa wood cut in the general shape of a desk. The amount of the debris changes from shot to shot. (00:14:40)

Revealing mistake: When Jake, Elwood and the cops are buried in rubble from the hotel, you see one of the cops dragging himself out of the debris has two bricks sitting in the brim of his hat. That's either a very strong hat or very light bricks... (00:42:05)

Revealing mistake: In the mall where the police car is spinning around on its roof (when the cop says, "They broke my watch"), you can see there's a separate circle of floor just larger than the car's roof, upon which it is rotating. (00:31:47)

Revealing mistake: In the beginning scene when they jump over the drawbridge there is more than a foot of space at the bottom of the rising bridge. No car, no matter how big, could have cleared that space without flipping over. Also when they land on the other side you can see a "flap" at the bottom of the bridge which would allow the car to drive over it. (00:09:40)
