Continuity mistake: When Fletch goes to visit Calculus in his shack, he knocks on the window and sees Calculus sitting in a chair, wearing boots. The next shot, as Fletch is walking inside, Calculus is now wearing socks and no boots, despite never having left the seated position, nor having had any time to slide his feet out of the boots. (00:35:55)

Continuity mistake: When Fletch goes into the Biker Bar it's pouring rain, but when he comes out minutes later and goes riding on a cycle, it's not raining and the ground is completely dry. (01:09:05)

Revealing mistake: During the scene when Audrey is having a nightmare about eating too much while on vacation, the nightmare ends with her inflating like a balloon from all the food. Her blouse splits open and down the middle, where the buttons have broken, the dark balloon used for the effect is visible. (00:16:35)

Continuity mistake: When the Griswalds are leaving the hotel in London they get in the hire car. When Clarke realises that the steering wheel is on the other side he gets out. When Ellen gets out she leaves her door open but when Clarke goes to get in the door is closed. (00:24:20)

Continuity mistake: When Durell and LeeJohn are in the diner just before robbing the church, the toast on the table is to Durell's right. Iin the next shot, it's in front of him, and in the next shot, it's back to his right. (00:28:45)

Continuity mistake: When Satan gets out of the car and turns up his collar, he has no gloves on his hands, but in the next shot as he is still turning up his collar, his hands are already gloved. (00:16:55)

Continuity mistake: When Satan enters the church demanding to know where Christine York is, one of the priests approaches him with a crucifix. The camera is facing the priest, Satan grabs the crucifix and stabs the priest right in the centre of his forehead (just above the eyebrow line). The camera angle changes to facing Satan and when the priest hits the deck, the crucifix is sticking out of his head higher up and above his left eyebrow. (01:22:30)

Continuity mistake: When Flounder and Larry arrive at the Omega house for the party, sunlight can be seen coming through the windows, although it was night when they arrive. (00:03:00)

Continuity mistake: During the final fight scene, Spartan grabs Phoenix and they land on top of the ice block and roll off in front of a few metal jugs. The camera angle changes to a close up and the jugs are not there anymore as you see Spartan punching Phoenix. (01:46:35)

Continuity mistake: At the beach house when Stiffler is passing out the porn, he throws Jim a porno movie that has a different title than the one that gets glued to his hand. (00:54:45 - 01:01:00)

Continuity mistake: When Carrie Fisher is shooting at Jake and Elwood in the tunnel under the Palace Hotel, she hits a water pipe and water sprays everywhere in a mist. In the next shot of Jake and Elwood lying in the mud, there's no spray visible behind them at all. When Jake stands up a few seconds later, the spray is back, but is more directed now. (01:57:39)

Continuity mistake: When the three ladies of the Soul Food Chorus get up to sing "Think" with Aretha Frankin, their food is sitting on the counter; ten seconds later in a wide shot, it has gone. (This is undoubtedly so that "Blue" Lou can do his thing on the counter.) When the ladies sit down again and get a nasty look from Aretha after Matt and Lou have left, their food is back again. Continuity mistake: When Randy shows up at the Health Food Store where Julie is working, Julie is wearing Levi's. In the next shot, she is wearing light blue pants. (00:46:40)

Continuity mistake: In the scene in the diner Julie's friends are telling her Tommy wants to take her back, Stacey enters with school books close to chest and sits down. The next shot shows the books on the table, and the following shot shows books back against her chest. (01:05:00)

Visible crew/equipment: When they are making the face of big momma we see the camera pass Malcom's back and then out again. When it reaches the other side you can a cameraman with a beard watching him in the mirror just before the other guy walks into the room. (00:17:00)

Continuity mistake: In the beginning of the movie, when Jake and Elwood jump the drawbridge they show a shot along the passenger side of the car as Elwood floors it to make the jump. Watch the rear tyre. The driver slams on the brakes as they approach the raised portion of the bridge. (00:09:30)

Continuity mistake: When the brunette is in the shower and that boy shows up he is wearing brown pants, but when you see the clothes lying on the carpet while they are in bed together, the pants are blue jeans. (00:59:00)

Continuity mistake: As Arnie runs after Leigh at the drive-in, he arrives under the awning with his hair slightly wet, but still rather full-looking. But in the next close-up, it's soaked flat onto his head. (00:45:40)

Continuity mistake: At the end of the movie, Arnie puts on his flak jacket then his make-up, but when he takes off his jacket, he's got camouflage on. (01:04:15 - 01:14:40)

Other mistake: As the Terminator is approaching Sarah in the Tech Noir nightclub, several other patrons can be seen behind her sitting in booths. These same people are in front of Kyle (he pushes them out of the way to get to Sarah before the Terminator does), yet he's on the other side of the club by the bar. (00:35:10)
