Continuity mistake: When Billy accidently squirts shaving foam onto his father, by use of the bathroom buddy, the foam around Rand's mouth disappears between shots. Foam also appears on his glasses between shots then disappears too. (00:27:15)

Continuity mistake: When Ryan is talking with Page over drinks/contract discussions, the camera moves in and out from Ryan/Page to Page. In the switch between close-up and distant shots, you see locks of hair dangling near Page's face in the close-ups, but, in the distant shots, her hair is perfectly set. (00:52:30)

Revealing mistake: When Danny falls down from the ceiling, watch closely and you can see the security wire attached to his leg. (00:34:40)

Mortug

Visible crew/equipment: When the Predator is attacking the Jamaicans in the penthouse, you will see the guy who gets pinned to the wall with the net propelled backwards. We are led to believe that it is the force of the Predator's weapon - not so - it is the bungie cable attached to his trousers. (00:24:55)

Continuity mistake: In the scene on the subway before the Predator attacks. Bill Paxton's laser sight alternates being on and off every time the shot changes. (00:54:50)

Continuity mistake: At the warehouse, when Harrigan and the other officers are looking at the carnage caused by the Predator, Danny points out the dead Columbian hanging from the skylight. The camera cuts to show the man hanging dead from the skylight, and you can see that he has a good amount of blood running down his body. When Harrigan is ordered downstairs, the scene cuts again to the body being hauled up by the Predator, except now the amount of blood has increased tenfold, looking almost like someone threw a bucket of blood on the corpse. Continuity mistake: After Rand squirts the toothpaste all over his jacket, it all completely disappears after he gives the shop owner his card. (00:02:45)

Continuity mistake: In the scene where they are in the all you can eat restaurant, when PaPa Klump farts into the candle causing the curtain to catch fire, when they first show the curtain after the 2 men put out the fire, there is clearly a burn mark on the edge of the curtain. However, when they show the curtain again, there is no burn mark. (00:17:25)

Continuity mistake: Toward the end of the movie, the assassin (Willis) fatally shoots the female Russian agent (Venora). As Willis is advising Venora that she will die within twenty minutes, he draws a picture on her cheek with her own blood (a grim pictogram of a love heart). When Gere arrives on the scene a few minutes later, there is no sign of blood anywhere on Venora's face. Obviously, the authorities would not have washed away such a vital clue. Neither would emergency personnel have transferred the victim from the floor where she was lying, onto the living room couch; rather, they would have put her on the ambulance stretcher. (01:26:00 - 01:27:15)

Visible crew/equipment: When Jack is in the real world, and he's playing chicken with the bad guy, as soon as Jack drives off on the ground, you can see a set of wires leading to Jack's car. (01:26:45)

Continuity mistake: Jack's shirt does not have bullet holes, as he walks up the stairs on the way to his apartment, but in the previous scene his shirt had bullet holes, as he packed up his stuff from his desk. (01:03:20)

Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the movie, when the mob appraiser has verified the medallions are authentic, he is wearing two white gloves. He then asks if he can leave. When he stands up and gathers his things, he has only one glove on. The shot cuts away. When it cuts back to him, he has two gloves on again. (01:32:50)

Visible crew/equipment: When Benedict snaps his fingers and the dogs form a pyramid to show how well they are trained - look at the dog's feet and you can see the rails that the dogs are standing on. (00:43:50)

Revealing mistake: When Jack is hanging out of the truck you can see him standing on the hood of the car which Lydia is driving. At some points we get camera view from the back seat of the car. In some angles the mirror inside the car disappear. This is to prevent us from seeing the camera. (01:04:15)

Mortug

Continuity mistake: In the beginning, after Dennis Quaid has been beaten up, the pins on his jacket are pinned, then hanging askew, then pinned again. (00:03:55)

Continuity mistake: Just after the scene where Jack Putter gets tazed by Lydia Maxwell in the restaurant, Mr. Igoe initially hauls the unconscious Putter over his left shoulder. In the following shot you'll notice that when he exits through the back door, he's carrying Putter over the right shoulder. This mistake was pointed out by the director (Joe Dante) himself on the commentary track of the DVD version. (00:58:10)

Revealing mistake: When the chopper is about to shoot out the elevator, on the right is a pair of guns and on the left a gatling gun. At the end of the scene the guns have switched places, with the pair being on the left and the gatling gun on the right. Flipped shot. (01:16:10)

Continuity mistake: When Ryan is talking to Page in her office about Cindy's medical condition she hands him a white coffee mug with black stripes. In a close-up, the mug has changed to a white one with a square picture on one side (the one Page took). It subsequently changes back again. (00:25:40)

Continuity mistake: The bowl of green jello that Doris throws at the warden lands the right way up, but in the next shot it is upside down. (00:21:00)

Continuity mistake: In the store, Hunter Van Pelt shoots his gun and hits the side of the tyre shelf, making a nick/hole in the red paint. The size and shape of the nick/hole changes between the two closeups of it, before the chain snaps and releases the tyres. (01:09:25)
