The Hot Chick (2002)

Corrected entry: Anna Faris' accident-prone mother backs out of the driveway and into the side of a passing truck. When you see her in the car, she is shown holding her head and slumped towards the steering wheel, as would happen in a frontal collision.

Correction: She is bowing her head in obvious misery and disgust, as for holding her head, she had just fallen off the balcony and still had her ice pack.

Scary Movie 3 (2003)

Corrected entry: In the beginning when the blonde girl gets annoyed by the parrot, she throws her shirt at the cage. However, when she is next seen walking upstairs, her shirt is back on.

Correction: You can see her putting on a shirt, whether it's another one or the same one.

Flashback - S3-E2

Corrected entry: In the episode Flashback, during the first mind meld between Captain Janeway and Mr. Tuvok, when they first show up at the bridge of the Excelsior, is mentioned a rescue mission of Captain Kirk and Dr. McCoy, who were arrested due to the assassination of the Klingon Chancellor. However, on Star Trek VI - The Undiscovered Country, there is no mention of such mission mainly because the only ship that was nearby Klingon Space was the Enterprise.

Correction: Captain Sulu was operating against orders and without knowledge of StarFleet Command, why would it be mentioned in the first place?

Easy Rider (1969)

Corrected entry: At the beginning of their ride Wyatt and Billy come to a farm where two men shoe a horse. One guy holds the obviously cold horseshoe with his hand, hammers on it, and then nails it to the hoof. If he'd just refit it because the horse had just lost it he wouldn't hammer on it, and if it were a new one he would have to heat it till it's red hot. (00:13:10)

NancyFelix

Correction: Horse shoes are not always heated anymore, I have seen it done several times.

Batman Forever (1995)

Corrected entry: How did Bruce Wayne get planning permission to lay miles of metre-wide metallic pipe complete with flourescent lighting, and which presumably needs some sort of regular maintenance, beneath Gotham's busiest streets, skyscrapers, office buildings, traffic spots etc. The logistics involved do not bear thinking about and even if he used city hall connections and called in favours from old friends (which he would certainly be able to do being a billionaire businessman) he would need a bloody good reason to rip up half of Gotham's streets. He obviously didn't say it was so he could get to the batcave quickly so how on earth did he do it without anyone asking awkward questions? Surely just hiding a batsuit and 'spare' batmobile in a vault in the basement of Wayne Enterprises would be easier?

Correction: Tunnels or pipes can be laid without need of tearing up streets. Knowing from previous movies Batman's love of the sewers, it is possible that the tube goes through along unused section, or it used to be a section of sewer pipe. We aren't given many details about this particular contraption, but is it very possible that it could exist.

Gladiator (2000)

Corrected entry: When Maximus is running through the tunnel to escape watch carefully, at one point some fire drops off his torch and starts to burn the wall. This shows the wall was made of plastic.

gandolfs dad

Correction: No, this shows that whatever dropped onto the wall (probably a kerosene) was flammable.

Gladiator (2000)

Corrected entry: At the parade with Commodus in the chariot there is a part when Commodus is riding toward the camera. Look behind him at the horsemen and you can see one struggling to keep his horse in a straight line.

gandolfs dad

Correction: Perfectly believable that a horse is acting up - not really a mistake.

Sol Parker

Corrected entry: The nukes shown in the end hit the cities and blow up. Modern nuclear missiles are designed to airburst for greater destruction. They should have detonated 200-300 meters above the city.

Grumpy Scot

Correction: We view the explosions from a great distance. 200 - 300 meters is not very discernable plus the blast would have extended to the ground immediately, covering that distance within the first few milliseconds, far less time than it takes for a frame of a movie.

Sol Parker

Corrected entry: When the boys are in the emergency room with Kenny, the doctors say they just called the parents. Then, according to the clock, many hours pass during the operation. After Kenny dies the parents finally arrive. How long does it take to get there?

Correction: Kenny's parents are poor, perhaps they had to walk.

Sol Parker

Corrected entry: When Jack first sails into Port Royal, he passes a gallows with three corpses and an sign that says "Pirates be Ye warned". "Ye" is not an old way of writing "you", but the old form of "the", the y-looking character being derived from the rune for the "th"-sound.

Ioreth

Correction: Assuming this movie takes place sometime later than the sixteen hundreds, the use of the word "ye" was used for the modern "you". For reference, check the King James Version of the Bible, written 400 years ago, obviously uses "ye" for "you". While possible uses of the word further back in history may have been different, the language has changed since the days of runes.

Correction: The townspeople have shoes fastened with either laces or buckles.

Blade (1998)

Corrected entry: It's well established in the film that when a vampire dies both the body and the clothing he/she is wearing combust into ash. How then was Blade able to get his sunglasses back from the guy wearing them at the end of the film? Since they were still on his head when he died (check it for yourself, they only fly off after he's an ashen heap)they surely would've combusted as well. (01:46:55)

Correction: Likely Blade's shades are made of something much stronger and more durable than regular plastic sun glasses, he is after all a Vampire slayer.

Sol Parker

Corrected entry: In the middle of the movie when Edmond Dantès escapes from the prison using the old man's body bag, he rips the keys off the body of the warden and pulls in into the water. However, when he is in the water freeing himself from the body bag, he uses the keys to get out of the bag, yet he ends up cutting the bag with a knife. There is no knife present earlier in the movie, otherwise it would have been easier to cut the prison walls or dig the tunnel.

Correction: This is explained in the book, the other prisoner had made his own knife. Just because it is not seen before this point doesn't mean it is not there.

Sol Parker

Corrected entry: In the scene after the two boats fight against each other, the boat blows up on one side. When Will gets onto the pirate boat, he gets on the other side. It would have taken Will much longer to swim to the pirate boat, and climb up the other side.

Correction: An indefinite amount of time passes between these happenings, otherwise it would be true that Will would have no time to swim that far. Remember, the Black Pearl had to get that far away too.

Sol Parker

Corrected entry: When the crew of the Black Pearl are taking over the boat outside their cave, and one of the crew member's arm is ripped off, it is still in the bone form, even when it is in the cabin of the ship where moonlight cannot reach.

Correction: This has been corrected before, the entire cabin is lit by ambient moonlight.

Sol Parker

Corrected entry: In the scene when Captain Barbosa is explaining to Elizabeth about the curse he pours white wine into his glass. After he goes on to the dock and drinks the wine, the wine we see dripping through his skeleton is red.

Correction: He grabs a different wine bottle.

The Crow (1994)

Corrected entry: If it has been a year since Eric and Shelley's death, who the hell has been feeding the pedigree house cat, which would be incapable of hunting for itself, for the last year to keep it at its same size?

Correction: Cats though domesticated are still wild animals. I know from experience that a cat can fend for himself when it is needed. Plus there are people who leave food out for stray animals.

Sol Parker

Correction: I have an indoor house cat who's never been allowed outside unsupervised or without a leash, and despite the fact she's pampered and doesn't have to fend for herself... she definitely still can. She catches (and eats) mice every time we get any in the house, is a keen hunter and is super cautious and territorial when she needs to be. She still has all of her survival instincts. So yes, house cats can definitely thrive and survive without their owner around. Especially in an apartment building like Eric's where she could easily get in and out.

Correction: The young girl, their friend kept coming back to feed the cat.

She specifically says "I thought you were dead" when she finds the cat, implying she hasn't seen it in quite some time. She also had to break into the building just to get inside. She definitely wasn't coming there to feed it.

TedStixon

Sorry meant the young girl.

The Mummy (1999)

Corrected entry: In the scene where they go underground, they use mirrors to reflect the sun's light, therefore lighting up the tomb. The mirrors are head height, so walking past one would briefly cut off the light in the rest of the tomb, as the beam of light would not be able to continue, but some how the light does not change.

Correction: The mirrors are larger than a person could completely block off.

The Rock (1996)

Corrected entry: After the first rocket is launched, Cpt. Frye says 'let's be all we can be'. That was the Army slogan. No Marine would say that. (01:45:05)

Correction: He is probably mocking since "The Few, The Proud" wouldn't really fit in right here.

Robocop 2 (1990)

Corrected entry: We see the gatling gun on Kain's arm being fired through walls, vehicles, people, even straight through the side of an armoured van then through bags of money and still kill someone, yet when he uses it on Robocop it doesn't even scratch the finish on Robocop's bodywork.

Correction: If you look at Robocop's lower left chest plate, you can see bullet impact marks.
