Lost in Space (1998)

Corrected entry: The banana/beef 'meal' that Don opens is half yellow/half pink. He gives it to Blarp and the CGI version of the bar is brown. (00:55:40)

jle

Correction: It is half brown, not pink, Don took a bite from the yellow part, leaving the brown part to be seen before Blarp quickly gobbles the whole thing down.

Stargate SG-1 (1997)

Avenger 2.0 - S7-E9

Corrected entry: The whole premise for this episode is that we can transmit or implant a virus into a DHD which will scramble the coordinates, so that the symbol on the DHD will not correspond to the same symbol on the gate. Because of this, SG-1 accidentally manage to disable every gate in the gate system. Has everyone forgotten how to manually dial a gate? As the virus only infects the DHD, you can still dial manually, as the DHD is not required when dialing manually.

Craig Bryant

Correction: The gate and DHD are connected, the DHD is mostly a controller and both together operate as a computer, in this case, it is not the DHD that is scrambled, but it is the DHD that has scrambled the gate. This is why Earth's gate was not scrambled, it has no DHD.

Sol Parker

Correction: When Doctor Felger and Major Carter travel to the planet to investigate the virus program, they learn that the original program has been modified, possibly by Ba'al. If the program was modified, it would not behave as originally intended. The two surmise that the modification was done to help Ba'al, and the program was behaving as now intended.

Stargate SG-1 (1997)

Avenger 2.0 - S7-E9

Corrected entry: Dr. Felger says that his assistant is good with numbers as she says something like "the probability of choosing the correct sequence of 7 non-repeating symbols from a pool from 39 is..." She can't be that good with numbers - the last symbol is known and is always the same (from earth), being the point of origin. So really they are choosing 6 symbols from 38.

Craig Bryant

Correction: If you know the origin planet's symbol, it is 6 in 38, but the origin is not always Earth. Each planet has a different symbol and not all are on the standard 39, many times the origin symbol is picked out because it is not on the standard 39.

Correction: After being dragged around for a while, the spear could have easily fallen out.

Walking Tall (2004)

Corrected entry: Johnny Knoxville says to The Rock that he went 'down to Seattle,' establishing that they are north of it - a fact supported by the environment (trees, hill slopes, etc.). But later, when The Rock is elected Sheriff, the cars are labeled 'Kitsap County', which is west of Seattle and across the Puget Sound. Kitsap County also does not look like their surroundings - it is flatter, more urbanized, and contains two major Navy bases.

Rooster of Doom

Correction: Going down to town is a term we North Westerners use. It has nothing to do with location or elevation. Just a phrase.

Sol Parker

Corrected entry: In the scene of Jesus being flayed there is a shot of the group of Pharisees watching. Satan appears and is only visible to Jesus if you look closely as Satan passes through the group one of the extras is watching as Satan passes in front of him.

Correction: They could be seeing him in human form just as Judas Iscariot saw demons while others saw children.

Sol Parker

Corrected entry: When the Romans are nailing Jesus' hands to the cross, they pull his right arm out straight so he forms a "T" with his arms. In fact, a point is made that his arm was pulled so hard to the side that it was dislocated. However, in subsequent scenes, Jesus is shown on the cross with his arms in a "Y", which couldn't have happened if his arms were pulled that severely to the side.

Correction: This has been corrected, dislocated shoulders equal more stretching room.

Sol Parker

Corrected entry: In the scene where Jesus and the two robbers are on the crosses, the robber who sticks up for Jesus has his hands nailed with his palms on the wood, in another shot of that scene, you can tell his hands are cupped, which they couldn't be if his palms were against the wood.

Correction: Only his right hand is nailed palm down, his left hand is nailed palm up.

Star Wars (1977)

Correction: This is a matter of perspective since it is very bright in the hanger, it is quite logical that one could not see the stars from back inside the hanger.

Sol Parker

Corrected entry: When the Nazgul flies past the orcs marching from the evil castle-like building by the stairs to Mordor, it flies very close to the orcs, with its beast flapping its mighty wings, probably creating large gusts of wind. Yet none of the torches being carried even flicker or blow.

Correction: The Nazgul are high above the orcs, considering the orcs are marching, the wind from the beast would have a negligible effect on the torches which are already being disturbed by the marching of the orcs.

Corrected entry: During the Highway Chase scene, several Agents refer to The Keymaker as an exile and try to delete/destroy him. But The Keymaker still has a purpose, to lead Neo to The Architect and The Mainframe so the code Neo carries can be reinserted to save the entire Matrix from a cataclysmic system failure. So why are The Agents (the very programs who are trying to protect The Matrix) following actions that ultimately would lead to its destruction?

Correction: Simply put, the Agents could not do their job efficiently if they were in on the joke. They think Neo is an anomaly, it is obvious they don't know what is going on.

Sol Parker

Corrected entry: Throughout the three films, Mount Doom is always shown spewing lava from its summit. This suggests that the lava is full to the brim. When Frodo and company reach the mountain, however, there's a large, open door leading into the center of the mountain. There is no evidence that lava has ever flowed through the door. Once inside, the lava level is hundreds of feet below them, but moments before lava was still spewing out the very top of the mountain.

Jon Nicholas

Correction: It is quite possible as with any volcano that there are separate lava tubes at the surface, obviously the entire mountain could not be hollow because it would collapse in on itself.

Corrected entry: How could Eowyn have cut the nazgul's "steed's" head clean off? It had armour on and her sword wasn't as long as the neck was wide.

gandolfs dad

Correction: There was only armor on the head, and she takes several quick slices.

Batman and Robin (1997)

Corrected entry: The new Batmobile has no cockpit shield above it. Would it not be hard to drive that thing at its top speeds with the wind blowing in his face?

Correction: The aerodynamics of a car do not always require it to have a windshield. A few years ago, a prototype car was designed that had no windshield or roof and the aerodynamics of it caused the air to travel in a very predictable manner up and over the passenger compartments.

Stargate SG-1 (1997)

Correction: Offworld Stargates are controlled by a Dial-Up Device, they probably don't need to dial themselves up manually like Earth, because earth has no Dialer.

The Simpsons (1989)

Correction: Electricity takes the shortest route possible, in this case, between the toaster heating elements, through the fork, to some part of the toaster that is grounded. Homer is not grounded, there is no reason for the electricity to go through him. I am not telling you to try it, but you may be surprised.

The Transporter (2002)

Corrected entry: Frank seems to have very clean hands after changing the tire of his BMW. When I've changed a tire before my hands are covered in tire grease and dirt yet his hands show no filth at all.

Tobin OReilly

Correction: From someone who changes tires regularly, it can be done, and it is much easier on a car as spotless as this one.

Waterworld (1995)

Corrected entry: At one point, the mariner trades a handful of dirt for water and a potted plant that has more dirt in it than he originally traded.

Correction: Most likely considering the circumstances, the plant was not planted in dirt. More likely some other less expensive medium.

A Knight's Tale (2001)

Corrected entry: At the end of the last jousting scene, William is stabbed in the shoulder with a lance, but there's no hole in his shirt, only blood.

Correction: If you look closely, there is a hole, it is small, but it is there. Apparently only the very tip actually entered his body, but the whole thing got stuck in his armour.

Sol Parker

Corrected entry: We already know, via the Architect's speech at the end of Reloaded, that there have been five 'Ones' before Neo. Now, Revolutions signals the end of the machine/human war, and thus a lasting peace. This lulls a viewer into thinking that there will be no more 'Ones' after this. However, consider this: The Architect only said that there were five before Neo; he did NOT specify the delay between each One appearing. It could well be that each of the Ones beforehand made peace with the machines, but then the war sparked off again. Just something to think about...

Correction: The Architect says what the past "Ones" had to do and did. Neo doesn't do this. I dont think the Architect was lying because of what he said at the end of the movie. The Architect said Zion had been destroyed five times, it wouldn't have been if past Ones had made peace.
