Stupidity: Jill wasn't thinking too clearly when she plans her story. She only wiped the fingerprints off the gun but they would be all over the tape on Trevor's body. Then she wipes off the knife yet touches it again to slide it across the floor. She was thinking that Trevor and Charlie were going to be thought of as the killers but their fingerprints weren't on either of the weapons.amycamille1975
Stupidity: It's stated that Imhotep will fear cats until he has fully regenerated and two different scenes show him fleeing in terror at the sight of a cat. Despite this, none of the characters that Imhotep is trying to kill that are fully aware of his weakness even think to have a cat with them at all times.Phaneron
Stupidity: John, the guy who taught Chucky the voodoo spell is confronted by Chucky later on in doll form. When things don't go how Chucky wants, he finds a Voodoo doll of the same guy just lying around and uses it to torture him. So this idiot who knows Voodoo and what it does, happens to have a Voodoo doll of himself just lying around? Yeah sure, that can't go wrong at all.Quantom X
Stupidity: After the Slick devours Laverne, Randy jumps into the water and swims for shore with the Slick following. Even though Randy made it to shore, he stops and turns to confront the Slick, screaming that he beat it. When Randy turns around, the Slick immediately envelopes him. If Randy had just got up and started running instead of facing the Slick, he would have lived.
New this month Stupidity: As the movie progresses, we see the deranged killer, Martin, collecting a dozen victims for his Human Centipede project and depositing the victims in a sealed chamber. Every time we see the victims, they are nude, face-down (always in the same positions on the floor), struggling and moaning and sobbing. However, their hands are only duct-taped behind their backs, and their ankles are duct-taped. There is nothing to prevent these victims from rolling over, sitting up, standing, and even assisting each other to escape. Yet they never change positions or attempt to escape.Charles Austin Miller
Stupidity: When Jody traps Michael in his room, he does so by sticking a screwdriver between the the door and the jamb. This likely wouldn't accomplish much regardless, but it especially wouldn't work in this situation because the door opens into the room, so Michael could simply open the door and the screwdriver would fall on the ground.Aaron Craig
Stupidity: The family ask 3 so-called ghost experts into the house. After seeing flying objects in the kids' room, they are suitably impressed. But later on, the female expert is sleeping, one of the men is in the kitchen wanting to cook a steak, and the second man has his back to the monitors, his head buried in a crossword puzzle and he has headphones on with music on, so he can't see, hear or see what is going on.kh1616
Stupidity: When the army base gets overrun the girl jumps on a soldier and starts biting his neck. The woman soldier that's with him aims her gun at them but doesn't shoot, knowing full well there's no hope for the man. There is utter carnage going on all around them and instead she tries to help him and gets attacked in the same way. This could be a plot hole as well as the girl in question is the one that holds the key to survival.
Stupidity: When Dr Loomis and Sheriff Bracket are chasing who they think to be Michael Myers, you can tell that it isn't him. Michael Myers is supposed to be 6'2 - Ben Tramer is maybe 5'4. If Michael was shot 6 times there would be blood on his overalls. And the mask that the kid is wearing has blonde hair, whereas the mask Michael wears is brown.
Stupidity: When Christine is told that to remove the curse, all she had to do was give an envelope with the button inside to somebody else and that individual would go to hell. She decides to go to the cemetery where Ganush is buried and places an envelope into her mouth. Had Christine actually bothered to check inside the envelope first to see if the button was inside, she would never have gone to hell.
Stupidity: Mason should have also removed the other gun he had in his office for display, or he could have removed the bullets from the guns. There is no reason he would have to use these guns for his victims, so it makes no sense to leave the other gun in his office or have them loaded with bullets.
Stupidity: Throughout the movie, and especially up on the top of the apartment building before they get rescued at the beginning of the movie, Gerry counts 12 seconds to check if someone has been infected. Just to mention this apartment example, he gets blood on his face and spends more than 12 seconds getting up and to the edge of the roof, plenty of time to become "Zeke." He then counts 12 seconds, as if they would actually matter to his infection.dudeguyman
