Continuity mistake: In the kids' bedroom, while Mary Ann speaks, Ray sits with the baseball cap in his hand. When the shot faces him he holds the brim with the cap facing out, but when the shot faces Mary Ann he holds the back of the cap with the brim hanging down. (00:07:05)

Continuity mistake: On the ferry, Rachel wears the purple/pink camouflage hoodie over her orange knit sweater with the colorful stripe sleeves, as usual. Now this is where things become strange. In the first shot as the trio come ashore, she is only wearing her orange sweater, she is not wearing the purple/pink hoodie - note the clear lack of fur hood. In the very next shot as they climb a bit more and then rest, Rachel is wearing the purple/pink hoodie - note the hood, but now it's on under her orange sweater. In the underwater shots she is also wearing it under the orange sweater. (This odd mistake has absolutely nothing to do with the very long wool cloak that Rachel wears in the next scene). Continuity mistake: After the ferry disaster, the trio swim to shore and climb up the bank. In the side shot Ray holds Rachel's left arm and Robbie holds her right arm. However, in the next back shot Ray holds Rachel's right arm, and Robbie holds her left. (01:05:00)

Continuity mistake: When Mary Ann carries Rachel's backpack into Ray's kitchen, she places the backpack down on the floor to her left, with her left hand and then steps away. However, in the next shot, she is still holding it and then places it down to her right, with her right hand. (00:06:00)

Continuity mistake: As Ray says, "Next time you take my car with no driver's license…" he walks a good distance away from Robbie. Yet in the next close-up of Robbie, Ray's arm is still pointing up near Robbie's face. (00:18:25)

Continuity mistake: When Ray speeds home in his car he passes Manny's shop and directly in front of the left garage door, beside the gas pump, is a large tree surrounded by bricks at the trunk base. Later, when Ray speaks with Manny the tree and surrounding bricks are gone. (00:04:15 - 00:19:00)

Continuity mistake: When Ray heads home after work, he speeds past Manny's shop, and in the first shot there is a large white sign on the brick wall, to the left of the door (not the one over the door), which is seen later as well. However, in the next shot as Ray pulls into his driveway and when Mary Ann carries Rachel's backpack up the steps, Manny's is at the end of the street and that white sign is gone. (00:04:20)

Continuity mistake: On his way home, when Ray's car turns the corner, in the first shot as he passes the parked cars across from Manny's, the last of which is a red pickup, but in the next shot it's a white pickup. (00:04:05)

Continuity mistake: In the dining hall, when Hermione begins reading Rita Skeeter's article mentioning the Hungarian bon-bon, the newspaper and Hermione's fingers change position between the semi close-up and close-up.

Continuity mistake: On the bridge, when Cedric speaks with Harry about the golden egg, in the shots facing Cedric, the wind is blowing Harry's hair back, yet in all the shots facing Harry his hair is still. (01:22:00)

Continuity mistake: In the cemetery, just after Voldemort shouts, "He's mine!" when he faces off with Harry during Priori Incantatem, in this specific overhead wide shot, which is directly over Cedric's body and the Triwizard Cup in the foreground, the Cup is only a couple of feet away from Cedric's feet; whereas in a previous wide shot, when Voldemort says, "Here you stand before me as though it were only yesterday..." both the trophy and Cedric's body are seen at the top of the screen (with the Riddle monument in between), and the Triwizard Cup is quite a distance away, at least 4-5 feet, from Cedric's body. Continuity mistake: After Fred and George drink the aging potion, when the twins jump over Dumbledore's Age Line, in this overhead shot Hermione sits at the edge of the long bench, with the closed book and crossed legs. Yet, in the next shot, as Fred and George begin congratulating each other, Hermione sits a few feet away from the edge, still with the closed book and crossed legs. (This is before she moves her seat and opens her book.) (00:29:00)

Continuity mistake: Whilst Harry is in the bathtub in the Prefects' bathroom, the foamy bubbles on his face and body noticeably differ between consecutive shots, or disappear then reappear depending on camera angle, particularly when Myrtle is being "attentive" to him. This is not due to his moving the bubbles about. (01:23:45)

Continuity mistake: In the common room, when Harry meets with Sirius, there are a stack of logs at the left of the fireplace which differ between shots.

Continuity mistake: After Harry overhears Snape and Karkaroff, when Snape confronts Harry and mentions the Gillyweed, the shelves behind the ladder in the store room are quite visible. Once Snape finds the bottle of Veritaserum things behind the ladder differ.

Continuity mistake: After Barty Crouch Jr. says, "I'll show you mine, if you show me yours," when Dumbledore grabs Harry's injured arm, the wound and the way he grips Harry's arm differs between shots. (02:11:20)

Continuity mistake: In the Triwizard champions' tent, after Fleur picks her dragon, in the overhead shot Fleur looks up as Madame Maxime stands directly behind her, with her hands on the champion's shoulders. However, in the next shot Madame Maxime leans over as she stands toward Fleur's left, and her hands are off the shoulders.

Continuity mistake: In the cemetery, when Harry stands trapped at the statue, the ripped sleeve and arm cut are visible as his hands grasp the sickle handle, and they both differ between shots.

Continuity mistake: Towards the end of the Yule Ball, when Ron and Hermione walk to the staircase, seated on the stairs are two girls who are comforting a third girl in the center. When Hermione shouts, "Ron you spoiled everything," the girls' positions change between shots. (01:18:20)
