Nanny McPhee (2005)

Continuity mistake: When Mrs. Blatherwick sits in the rocking chair in the kitchen, before the "mouse" races across the floor, in the first shot her left hand lies on her belly, with her right hand over her left, patting it gleefully. When it cuts to a close-up, her hands are in the opposite position. (00:10:20)

Nanny McPhee (2005)

Nanny McPhee mistake picture

Continuity mistake: After Evangeline has left with Aunt Adelaide, Nanny McPhee enters the children's room, and as she and Chrissie walk to the bed they pass Eric's, Lily's and Tora's beds, with the bare wood floor at the center - there is no rug. However, when Nanny McPhee leaves their room the long red and white rug is at the center of the floor, between all the beds. (00:51:55 - 00:52:55)

Nanny McPhee (2005)

Continuity mistake: When Eric, Tora and Aggy are getting ready for bed, Simon walks in and mocks, "And since when have we decided to do what we're told?" The towel to his right (viewer's left) is rumpled up, yet hangs straight in previous and following shots, then is rumpled again. (00:19:55)

Meet the Fockers (2004)

Continuity mistake: During the party at the Good Times Supper Club, when Jack holds out Dina's wine spritzer, in the shots facing Pam the drink has a deep golden color, but in the shots facing Jack the drink is clear. The straw, lime, etc change as well. (01:21:10)

Meet the Fockers (2004)

Continuity mistake: There are two sofas in the Fockers' living room, the large whose back faces the kitchen and small whose back faces the "wall of Gaylord"; their pillows have coordinating large and small floral patterns on both sides. When Greg brings crying LJ into the living room, the three pillows on the small sofa have the small pattern facing out, but after Greg answers the phone call from Roz, Jinxy releases LJ, and in the close-ups of LJ the large pattern faces out. Then, when Greg rushes in with his rum surprise, in the first pan of the empty room the small pattern faces out, yet when LJ sits with his glued hands the large pattern faces out. (01:06:00)

Meet the Fockers (2004)

Continuity mistake: When Bernie shows off the "wall of Gaylord" the sports lamp (with soccer ball, baseball and glove) sits on the left of the dresser, with framed photos beside it. However, when everyone heads to the lagoon, there is a close-up of a framed jockstrap, which now hangs prominently beside the lamp. (The jockstrap normally hangs behind the lamp, which blocks it from view.) (00:27:30 - 00:30:40)

Meet the Fockers (2004)

Continuity mistake: Jack drops the two vials into the Tom Collins glass, while in the bathroom. At the hand-off, when he places the drink on the tray, there are no vials in the glass - there is no ice blocking them from view, just a skewer holding a maraschino cherry, a wedge of lemon, and a straw - no vials. Even Jack can't make the two vials invisible. (01:23:40)

Meet the Fockers (2004)

Continuity mistake: When Jack places Jorge's hair in the test tube, he holds Greg's vial, and the name "Greg" is written with the first "G" beside the stopper. However, in the next shot, when he places the vials into the glass, the name is actually written the opposite way, with the last "G" beside the stopper (this is also seen earlier, when Jack inserts Greg's hair). Tape and handwriting differ as well. (01:23:20)

Meet the Fockers (2004)

Continuity mistake: When they all first arrive at Roz and Bernie's, Jack brings LJ over in the stroller. As Bernie babbles, "Bazooka, bazooka," and LJ starts crying, the stroller's orange flap (between LJ's legs) is attached to the front harness around the boy's waist. In the previous couple of close-ups of Little Jack, the orange flap hangs down between his legs. (00:23:25)

Nanny McPhee (2005)

Continuity mistake: When the tarantula is crawling on Selma Quickly's hair, Cedric dives onto her. In the first shot his hands are around Selma's neck, as he is falling on top of her, but in the next shot his arms are wrapped around her waist with her arms dangling over his.

Nanny McPhee (2005)

Continuity mistake: When Nanny McPhee tells Cedric, "Lesson three, to get dressed when they're told is complete," he picks up a pen and fiddles with it. In the next close-up, Cedric's hands are clasped together, and a moment later he picks up the pen and fiddles with it. (00:53:40)

Continuity mistake: At Midgewaller & Sons, when Mr. Brown finds the card for the deceased Thadius Quickly, not only does the handwriting differ later at home, but the red swatch pinned to the card differs as well.

Pilot (1) - S1-E1

Continuity mistake: When Jack drops to his knees, after removing the undershirt, one white shirt lies stretched out horizontally on the ground directly in front of him, with both knees centered in front of it; the other shirt is off to his right (viewer's left), with the undershirt he drops. Three shots later, still on his knees, all three shirts lie rumpled to his right; eleven shots later, the single white shirt once again lies horizontally directly in front of him, in the very same position as the earlier shot.

Whatever the Case May Be - S1-E12

Continuity mistake: When Kate and Sawyer go underwater to retrieve the case, in a close-up it is easy to see that the male corpse is barefoot. But in a following close-up, when Sawyer swims up with the Halliburton case - just as the words "Production Designer Carlos Barbosa" appear onscreen - in this specific shot the man is actually wearing a black shoe on his left foot. Meet the Fockers (2004)

Continuity mistake: During the fondue dinner, not only do the positions of the fondue skewers change in consecutive shots throughout the meal, in some consecutive shots there are three skewers, then four, then three and so on, resting in the fondue pot, depending on camera angle - not due to people touching them. (00:38:25)

Meet the Fockers (2004)

Continuity mistake: At the fondue dinner, when Roz says, "Of course not, that's Greg's foreskin," in this shot Dina holds down the album page with her left hand, as she holds the skin over the album. In the next shot facing Jack, Dina drops it and it falls beyond the open page, yet, in the next close-up the piece falls directly on the open page with the photo. (00:46:15)

Meet the Fockers (2004)

Continuity mistake: When Greg does damage control in Roz's office by hiding things, the height of the table is about Greg's waist level - also note the wood paneling trim. In the previous shot, as Greg surveys the room, the table is a foot lower, which is also seen in other shots including when Greg enters the room, after the football game, to check on Jack and the table height is level with Greg's thighs. The entire table was deliberately raised in the close-up. (00:27:00)
