Continuity mistake: When Yugi is looking at the Timaeus card, he is holding it with four fingers pressed horizontally against the back of the card. A few seconds later, he is holding it with two fingers pressed vertically against the back of the card. (00:05:48)
Continuity mistake: When the main characters are in the Industrial Illusions reception area, in the establishing shot, Yugi and Joey are standing side by side. But in the next shot, Joey is suddenly ahead of Yugi. (00:13:40)
Continuity mistake: When Devlin throws the dice at the pick-pocket, the wallet that the pick-pocket stole and the dice Devlin threw land on the ground. The dice lands in front of the wallet, but when the shot cuts, the dice is positioned to the right of the wallet. (00:12:10)
Continuity mistake: When the truck driver is first shown, he is holding onto the steering wheel, with his hand placed at the top of the wheel. When the shot cuts to reveal Tea hitchhiking, his hand is positioned more to the top right corner of the wheel. (00:10:21)
Continuity mistake: When Joey says "That's not good" after realising the motorbike is on fire, the two petrol stands are a fair distance apart. Seconds later, just before the station explodes, the two petrol stands are closer together. (00:05:44)
Continuity mistake: When the motorbike crashes into the petrol stand at the gas station, it catches fire and spreads onto the petrol stand. A few seconds later, when the limo drives away from the station, the two petrol stands can be seen, but they are not damaged, nor are they on fire, and the motorbike has disappeared from in front of them (though this doesn't stop the station from exploding). Continuity mistake: When Joey picks up the Harpie Lady card that Mai threw at the biker, he is holding it so that his index finger is covering the entirety of the back side of the card. When the shot cuts, his index finger is bent and is covering less of the back side of the card. (00:05:19)
Continuity mistake: When the main characters hear a rumbling sound, they run onto the road. All four of them are standing away from the white line in the middle of the road, but when the shot cuts to an angle behind them, Joey is suddenly standing on the white line. (00:03:00)
Continuity mistake: When Tristan tells the others that the driver "isn't in the little boy's room," Yugi and Tea are side by side. In the next shot, Yugi is slightly behind Tea. (00:02:34)
Continuity mistake: When the main characters are investigating the run-down gas station, in the shot of Tea saying "Be careful, Tristan, this doesn't look like the safest place to be," Joey is shown looking out into the open. But in the next shot, he is suddenly standing next to a window and looking through it. (00:02:30)
Continuity mistake: When Kaiba is holding the Fang of Critius card, he is holding it with two fingers pressed against the back. In the close-up of the card, his middle finger is placed over the edge of the bottom side of the card. In the next shot, his middle finger is against the bottom-side edge of the card, without his finger going over the edge. (00:17:55)
Continuity mistake: When Alister shows Kaiba the busted action figure, he is holding it with four fingers over the front of the figure. Then there is a close-up of the action figure where his thumb is suddenly pressed against the side, two fingers are suddenly no longer touching the figure, and the two fingers that are still touching the figure are bent. Continuity mistake: When Kaiba says "It's show time," he draws a card from his deck. While drawing the card, he has no cards in his left hand, but in the next shot, there are three cards in his left hand. (00:06:22)
Continuity mistake: When Kaiba thinks that he has just the cards to take Alister down, there is a close-up of the three cards in his hand. In the close-up, his thumb is placed over the Blue Eyes White Dragon card in the middle. When the shot cuts, his thumb is placed over the trap card on the left-hand side. (00:06:10)
Continuity mistake: After being attacked by Toon Dark Magician Girl, Kaiba says, "Watch this," and raises a card to his face. When the shot cuts, the hand that he had the card in is suddenly pointed to the left. (00:16:20)
Revealing mistake: When Kaiba is attacked by Toon Dark Magician Girl, in the shot of his life points going down to 2000, the cards in his hand are missing the illustrations. (00:16:09)
Revealing mistake: After Kaiba finishes his first turn, the scene cuts to Weevil and Rex in the garbage truck. In the first shot of the truck, the driver can be seen in the driver's seat, but is missing his eyes and mouth. (00:09:53)
Continuity mistake: When Yugi looks at the Timaeus card on their way to Pegasus' building, in the close-up shot of the card, he has three curled fingers that are not touching the card, meaning he has one finger pressed against the back of it. In the next shot, he has two fingers against the back of the card. (00:03:37)
