Continuity mistake: During the motorbike chase, Valon turns in a different direction. This causes Joey to drive into the path of a truck where there are two bins next to it. The two bins are next to the truck in the shot of Joey driving towards them, but when the shot cuts to show Joey swerving to avoid the truck, the bins are nowhere in sight. Then, after that, he crashes into the bins. (00:04:20)
Plot hole: When the truck and caravan are parked over the manhole cover, in the close-up shot of the manhole, Tristan can be heard saying "Nice work, Rebecca," but Tristan is not with them at this point. He is with Tea, trying to escape with the possessed cops. The only people present in this scene are Joey, Rebecca, Professor Hawkins, and Devlin. (00:14:23)
Continuity mistake: When Yugi and Kaiba's monsters have been destroyed, the two of them turn around to face the demons. They are side by side when this happens, but when the shot cuts, Yugi is suddenly in front of Kaiba. (00:14:06)
Continuity mistake: A creature jumps in between Yugi and Kaiba and then goes through a wall. A giant hole is left in the wall that is circular shaped, but when the shot cuts to an angle inside the wall, the hole is more of an oval shape. (00:11:53)
Continuity mistake: When the main characters meet up with Hawkins, Rebecca, and Devlin, in the shot of Yugi saying "Professor, I'm glad you're all right," Joey is standing directly behind Yugi. In the next shot, Joey is standing on Yugi's left. (00:09:49)
Revealing mistake: When Kaiba opens up his laptop, a close-up of the keyboard is shown. In the shot, the K on the "Caps Lock" key can be seen going over the edge of the key. (00:03:12)
Revealing mistake: When Kaiba's men are typing at the computer while the thugs are attacking, there is a shot of a man typing at a keyboard. In the shot, the "I" key is missing the horizontal line at the top of the letter. The horizontal line at the bottom of the letter is shown, making it look like an upside down T. (00:02:56)

Character mistake: When Alister activates Toy Robot Box, he says that by discarding three cards from his hand, he can summon three more robots. However, he is only shown discarding one card from his hand. (00:11:40)

Continuity mistake: When Alister draws the Emergency Provisions card from his deck, in the close-up of the card, his middle finger is not touching the back of the card. When the shot cuts, his middle finger is touching the back of the card. (00:10:50)

Continuity mistake: When Mokuba puts the phone to his ear, his little finger can be seen positioned on the front side of the phone, while his other fingers are positioned on the side of the phone. In a closer shot of Mokuba, all his fingers are positioned on the front side of the phone. (00:19:42)

Character mistake: Kaiba uses the special effect of XYZ-Dragon Cannon, which he states that "by discarding one card, he can destroy one of Alister's cards," but he is shown sending three cards from his hand to the graveyard instead of one. Activating this effect does destroy all three of Alister's Tank Tokens, so the correct number of cards is destroyed, despite stating the wrong number of cards. (00:17:20)

Continuity mistake: After Alister's life points go down to 2200 and Kaiba ends his turn, Alister draws a card from his deck. He is shown raising the card to be level with his head, but in the next shot, his hand is lowered and then raises the card to be level with his chest. (00:08:00)
Character mistake: On Rebecca's first turn, she summons a monster which she refers to as Luster Dragon #2. The monster she actually summons is called Luster Dragon. Luster Dragon #2 is a Level 6 monster with 2400 attack points (which she couldn't have summoned without a sacrifice) and has a turquoise design, whereas Luster Dragon is a Level 4 monster with 1900 attack points and has a blue design (which is the monster that is summoned to the field). She doesn't summon Luster Dragon #2 until later in the duel. (00:11:14)
Continuity mistake: When Yugi is looking at the Eye of Timaeus card after getting it back, his fingers are straight while holding the card. Then, in a close-up of the card, his ring finger and little finger are bent. Then, in the shot after that, all his fingers are straight again. (00:17:46)
Continuity mistake: When Yugi gets the Eye of Timaeus card, he turns around to face the Orichalcos soldier; his right arm is lowered. When the shot cuts, his right forearm is raised so that he can look at the card. (00:17:42)
