Revealing mistake: After the Joey knight has blocked Kaiba's attack on the Mai knight, Kaiba says, "Figures Wheeler mess things up," and then inserts a card into one of the slots on his duel disk. The slots on the duel disks have always been shown to be aligned with monster card zones on the front of the duel disk, but when Kaiba sets the card, he inserts it in an area in between where the monster card zones are located, meaning he inserted the card in between the slots, rather than in one of the slots. Revealing mistake: When Yugi and Kaiba prepare to duel Dartz, they take out their decks and prepare to insert them into their duel disks. While Kaiba is holding onto his deck, the bottom card can be seen, and it is missing the illustrations. (00:12:07)

Revealing mistake: When the captain is explaining that there is nothing they can do to stop Dartz, there is an exterior shot shown from above of the three ships in the ocean. The helicopter rotors on the middle ship are shown moving, indicating that this is not a still frame; the ships and the water turbulence caused by the ships remain completely still in the frame. Revealing mistake: While driving in Devlin's car, the image of the map in Tea's lap can be seen shifting unnaturally back and forth as the car drives. This was likely done to make it appear as if the map was vibrating due to the movements of the car, but the outline of the map remains completely still, making for a completely unnatural animation. Revealing mistake: When Kaiba is attacked by Toon Dark Magician Girl, in the shot of his life points going down to 2000, the cards in his hand are missing the illustrations. (00:16:09)
