Continuity mistake: Joey uses his Cyber-Tech Alligator to destroy one of Mai's Cyber Harpie monsters, meaning there were two Cyber Harpies on the field before the attack, but only one after the attack. Only one Cyber Harpie card can be seen on Mai's duel disk after the attack. When Mai says, "You're pretty confident for someone who's about to lose," there are two Cyber Harpie cards on her duel disk, even though there should be one. (00:16:50 - 00:17:20)

Continuity mistake: When the attack points of Mai's second Cyber Harpie go from 1800 up to 2100, Joey places one card face down. At this moment, the cards in Joey's hand are pointed downwards slightly. In the next shot, the cards are pointed at a more downward angle. (00:17:15)

Continuity mistake: When the attack points of Valon's Burning Knuckle go from 900 up to 1,100, the fingers in his right hand are outstretched. Then it cuts to a shot from Valon's POV, where his right hand is suddenly clenched into a fist. (00:11:55)

Continuity mistake: When Kaiba and Mokuba walk away from the others, Yugi, Tea, Tristan and Devlin are standing side by side, with Yugi slightly ahead. But in the next shot, Yugi is suddenly directly in front of Devlin. (00:13:48)

Continuity mistake: When Valon is escorted into the warden's office, there are two pieces of paper on the desk that are directly underneath the warden's elbow. Continuity mistake: When everyone in the caravan realises that Tristan is in front of the truck, the headlights are shown casting light on the ground Tristan is sitting on. In the next shot, no light from the headlights can be seen on the ground where Tristan is positioned. (00:13:12)
