Continuity mistake: Hogan pulls a container with a red cross out of the drop box and opens it. It is labeled "penicillin" inside and contains among others several vials of clear liquid. Back in the camp, Hogan gives a box with a red cross on top to Kinchloe, saying "here's the penicillin." It is a completely different box.

Continuity mistake: As Kinch answers the question about the radio, he's in quarter profile to the locker with his shirt open. After the cut to a wider scene happens, he's turned toward the camera, and his shirt is half buttoned.

Continuity mistake: At the end, Colonel Sitzer pushes Hogan away, calls for music, and puts his left hand over the microphone, with his right hand hanging by his side. A second later, his right hand is mid way up the stand.
Continuity mistake: In Klink's quarters, As Schultz and Klink talk, Klink asks a question and takes a bite of steak, and the fork is still up. After the angle change, the fork is suddenly missing.

Continuity mistake: As Hogan and Kinch walk into the club, Hogan is holding the mop up. A second later, it's on the floor, with his hand on top.
Continuity mistake: As Stoffel sets off the smoke bombs, the first one lands by a set of silver cans by a crate. The second one lands in almost the same spot, but the first charge is gone.

Continuity mistake: In the tunnel, Le Beau picks up some darts and tosses one with green feathers at the target. When the camera looks at the target (a picture of Hitler) a blue winged dart hits the board.

Continuity mistake: As the boys trade candy bars and Schultz reaches in, Hogan stops everything and his left hand is up with a bar in it, his right hand empty. A second later, his left is down, and the bar has jumped to his right hand.

Continuity mistake: When Hogan and company pull up to the ammo dump, the guard is standing to the left of the "HOCHE SPRENGGEFAHR" (high explosives) sign. A second later he is standing in front of the other end of the sign.

Continuity mistake: As Newkirk leaves the stage to do his "hat trick", his sweater is clean. When doing the trick, there are stains on the sweater before he starts.

Continuity mistake: During Carter's second meal, the napkin in his shirt comes loose and starts to fall. A second later, it's firmly in place in his shirt.

Continuity mistake: Newkirk comes out of Klink's office with a code book, and passes it to Le Beau, who immediately holds it up and opens it. In the close up, Carter's hands bring up a book with a camera in it, and Le Beau brings the book out from his back and opens it again.
Answer: Nimrod's actual identity was never revealed in the series. It was only known that he was a British intelligence agent. Nimrod was not Colonel Klink. Hogan had only implied it was him as a ruse to get Klink returned as camp commandant, not wanting him replaced by someone more competent who would impede the Heroes war activities. The term "nimrod" is also slang for a nerdy, doofus type of person, though it's unclear why that was his code name.

"Nimrod" is originally a king and hero mentioned in the Tanach and taken into the Bible and the Koran. His name is often used in the sense of "stalker," "hunter," and sometimes figuratively as "womanizer" as in "hunter of women." I've never seen it used to denote a nerdy person, and although I cannot disprove that connotation, I think given his role, the traditional meaning is more likely the intended one.
