Continuity mistake: While Crockett is chasing after Robbie, Robbie's car swerves past a truck containing wood and water. In the first shot, Robbie's car is shown right next to the truck just as he drives past it. When the wood and water fall out of the truck in the next shot, Robbie's car has disappeared. (00:44:46)
Revealing mistake: During the final shootout in the apartment, just after Robbie shouts "Sonny, behind you," Crockett turns to shoot one of the gunmen. When Crockett shoots, no bullet or muzzle flash can be seen coming from his gun. (00:47:24)
Continuity mistake: While Crockett and Tubbs are speaking alone at the party after the waiter walks away from them, Tubbs says, "I talked to Silva, we're in," and then presses two fingers against his chin. But in the next shot, his hand is away from his chin and places his fingers over his chin a second time. (00:34:25)
Continuity mistake: When Crockett tells Tubbs that he is underestimating the situation regarding Tubbs saying that he is going to infiltrate the bad guys, there is a shot of Tubbs saying "Voodoo, right," where he stands up. In this shot, the shadow of Crockett's hand can be seen cast on the wall. When the shot cuts, the shadow is further up the wall. (00:28:38)
Continuity mistake: When Castillo meets up with the guy at the video store, in the shot of the guy saying "Long time, no see," he has both hands over the desk he is sitting at. When the shot cuts, only one hand is on the desk. (00:10:40)
Other mistake: When Laura stabs Castillo in the back, she pulls out the knife, but no blood can be seen on it. (00:39:08)
Continuity mistake: When Castillo runs upstairs after Surf breaks into the house, Surf looks up and points his machine gun upwards. But in the next shot, the machine gun is upright. (00:40:13)
Other mistake: While one of the gunmen searches the bathroom, Castillo is shown hiding near the ceiling by pressing his hands and feet against the walls. He then jumps down onto the floor and sneaks up behind the gunman and stabs him. There was no way the gunman didn't hear Castillo land on the bathroom floor; Castillo was directly behind him, and no other sounds were made. (00:42:50)
Continuity mistake: After getting out of the house, Castillo brings Marty to a tree so they can talk. He is shown holding onto Marty's arm when he does this, but when the shot cuts, his hand is over Marty's chest. (00:44:02)

Audio problem: When Gina shoots Nico Arroyo at the end of the episode, she fires twice but only one shot is heard.
Continuity mistake: When Crockett and Ira are driving in the boat, Ira is holding a camera, which he turns to face Crockett. When he does this, Ira is holding the camera with one hand, but when the shot cuts, he is holding it with two hands. (00:18:14)
Continuity mistake: When Crockett and Tubbs get into their car after spying on Phil, Stan puts his hand on the car. His fingers are placed on the car and are aligned with one another when he does this, but when the shot cuts to focus on Crockett, three of his fingers are at a higher angle and his thumb is at a lower angle. Continuity mistake: When Phil is talking with Tony on the boat, in the shot where Phil asks "And why don't I believe you?", his left hand is away from his face. When the shot cuts, his left hand is nearer to his face. (00:37:08)
Revealing mistake: When Charlie shoots the guy in the opening scene, just after he shoots the first time, there is a shot of the man falling back. In this shot, the gun is not pointed in the man's direction, and there are no bullet holes shown on his clothes or body. (00:01:10)
