Continuity mistake: When Crockett has the microphone taped to his chest, there is a close-up of his chest where the technician removes his hands from Sonny's chest after he finishes taping the microphone. But in the next shot, his hands are back on Sonny's chest. (00:37:28)
Revealing mistake: When the microphone is being taped onto Sonny's chest, the area on his chest where the microphone is placed appears to be lighter than the rest of his chest, revealing that the microphone was already placed on his chest during a previous take. (00:37:20)
Continuity mistake: When Callie is asking Crockett about the safe house, just as Crockett says, "They let me use it when I want," Callie is holding the towel in front of her stomach. When the shot cuts, the towel is positioned nearer to the right side of her body. (00:14:42)
Other mistake: When Callie gets out of the shower, she is wearing makeup, which would have washed off, or at least smeared while in the shower. Her hair also appears to be fairly dry, despite having just gotten out of the shower. (00:14:26)
Visible crew/equipment: When Crockett is looking out of the window while Callie is taking a shower, the hand of a crew member can be seen to the left of shot, who is there presumably to turn off the ceiling fan. (00:14:19)
Continuity mistake: When Trudy is reading Maria Rojas' record, Crockett can be seen in the background holding onto a phone with his left hand, while looking over a report with his right hand. The shot then cuts to a closer angle of Crockett, where he is looking over the report with both hands, while the phone is being held by his shoulder. (00:10:10)
Continuity mistake: When Crockett and Tubbs are talking while at the hotel, there is a shot of Crockett saying, "Give him my love," where he wipes his chin and begins to move his hand away from his face. When the shot cuts, his hand is suddenly on his thigh. (00:08:42)
Revealing mistake: When Charlie shoots the guy in the opening scene, just after he shoots the first time, there is a shot of the man falling back. In this shot, the gun is not pointed in the man's direction, and there are no bullet holes shown on his clothes or body. (00:01:10)
Continuity mistake: When Clemente's messenger gets startled by Tubbs whilst talking to Crockett at the hotel pool, he pulls a Colt Python on them, which changes to a Smith & Wesson Model 19 with a bo-mar rib in a closeup.
Audio problem: When Charlie slaps Callie across her face, Charlie misses by several inches and the slap sound isn't heard until after Charlie completes the arc of the slap.
