Continuity mistake: Peter tries to seduce Luke Perry by rubbing ice and an orange on his nipple to get it hard. In the next shot, his nipple is suddenly back down to normal again. (00:17:40)
Continuity mistake: When Peter and Brian are trying to get close to Luke Perry, there's a shot of Luke at the pool and the camera pans over to him. In that shot, there is no drink on his table. When it cuts to a close-up, suddenly he has a drink sitting there, as well as a piece of paper that appears on his table. (00:17:12)
Continuity mistake: When Meg is walking by lockers with students reading the paper that has Meg's story in it, the lockers change between shots. They go from tall single lockers to double-stacked lockers. (00:13:23)

Suddenly, the family couch, that was seen in several shots before, is right up against the wall where the table should be and the house front door is missing. Continuity mistake: After Meg gives Brian a copy of her report on Mayor West, he reacts to it and Peter takes a copy. Suddenly, the couch they are sitting on becomes longer with more space between Peter and Brian. Brian goes from sitting in the middle of one of the cushions to on the crack between two of them. Continuity mistake: Lois takes away the box of Fig Newtons from Stewie and sets it on the counter in the kitchen. In the first shot, the open side of the box is facing towards what would be the left if you're facing it from the kitchen, then in the next shot the box is turned around so the open side is facing the right. Continuity mistake: When Meg walks up to Neil's desk, there is a cup of water on the side of the desk next to the paper, and Neil puts his hands on the paper near the edge. Then in the next shot, his hands move to the centre of the paper and now the cup of water is also on the paper. (00:06:34)
Continuity mistake: When Neil goes to wash his retainer at the water fountain, in the first shot there is no button on the fountain, but it appears in the close-up. Also, between shots, the corner of the cork board moves further away from the fountain. And the guy holding the camera next to Neil goes from hands on camera to the camera just dangling around his neck with his hands down. (00:06:25)
Continuity mistake: At the end of the episode when Peter is meeting with Mayor West, there are military generals standing behind West. When it cuts to a close-up of him, suddenly the generals behind him disappear. (00:20:45)
Continuity mistake: In the Can't Touch This parody song with Peter, he chains Joe to the back of the truck with a chain. Between shots, the handle of the door changes from grey to a silvery white, the chain itself changes from grey to black, and the panels under the chain and handle go from grey to a darker bluish-grey colour. Continuity mistake: In the cutaway gag after Peter says he thought about selling his body to science, there is his skeleton in a classroom hanging up. The teacher asks a girl to come up to it, and between shots, the stand his skeleton is hanging on moves much closer to the wall and corner of the room behind it. (00:01:03)

Continuity mistake: When Lois is trying to Get Stewie to eat some cake, there is a bowl on the table with flowers. In most of the shots, the bowl has 4 flowers in it. Then after Chris walks in and sits down, Stewie exclaims that he's ready to eat his cake, and in a close-up suddenly there's 5 flowers in the bowl now. (00:11:25)

Continuity mistake: Making his point to Peter, Brian smashes his Star Was glass on the floor which snaps Peter out of his stupor. The glass shattered into many pieces on the floor in front of Peter's chair. In the subsequent shots, the broken glass is nowhere to be seen on the floor. (00:18:02)

Continuity mistake: Just before Paulie moons the sky, he and Peter change position between shots. (00:11:00)
Suggested correction: Quagmire considers the rest of them to be his best friends. He isn't drinking because they can't drink. He is complaining because since his friends can't drink - he won't drink, so he is still pissed.
It's still a plot hole considering Quagmire's age. I think the writers messed up big time.
You make a good point, but it's awkward to be that one person who is drinking while surrounded by people who can't. So, I understand the correction that was submitted above. Because his friends are not drinking, he now feels that he can't.
It's 100% a mistake. Quagmire simply would buy them alcohol the same way Brian did when they realized he could.
