And Then There Were Fewer - S9-E1

Continuity mistake: Just after the guests have found Muriel, there is a shot from outside the manor where we can see Quagmire's car at the back of the rest of the cars. But in the next overview shot of the manor, Quagmire's car is now in front of a red car. (00:29:30)

Casual Person

And Then There Were Fewer - S9-E1

Continuity mistake: While everyone is in the secret room Peter finds a blue book on the desk and picks it up to read. Peter's holding this book in his hands when he asks Consuela what happened, and just as Consuela tells him about her nephew, we see another blue book on the desk beside Peter. There should be only one blue book - the one in Peter's hands. (00:20:40)

And Then There Were Fewer - S9-E1

Continuity mistake: The interior layout of the dining room is visible in many shots, specifically the wall and windows behind the arm chair at the head of the table. After Stephanie is murdered, when Mort shouts to run for their lives, the crowd exits the dining room and they turn right, then everyone runs for the double front doors, opposite the staircase. This means the windows behind the arm chair at the head of the table are at the back of the house, but later when they capture Tom behind that chair, the shot moves backwards through the window and it's now at the front of the house, beside the double front doors. And Then There Were Fewer - S9-E1

Continuity mistake: When Muriel disappears after she's been accused, everybody rushes back up the secret passageway stairs to find her, and in the first shot facing the group there's a large green desk pad on the desk, but in the next shot that desk pad has vanished (and it reappears when they split into groups). And Then There Were Fewer - S9-E1

Continuity mistake: When Joe concludes that Stephanie was in the wrong place at the wrong time, the dining room table is still set with plates, wine glasses, etc, but then Joe tells everyone to look around for more clues, and in the next overhead shot as they all exit the dining room the table is bare. And Then There Were Fewer - S9-E1

Continuity mistake: When Lois and Peter pack their suitcases and leave the room, as Lois walks down the hall she stops at Diane's open door. In this first shot from the hall there are double doors and a blank wall opposite Diane's open door, but in the next shot from inside Diane's room there's a painting hanging on the wall opposite her door. And Then There Were Fewer - S9-E1

Continuity mistake: In numerous shots we see the interior layout of the dining room, with the four sets of two story windows behind the arm chair at the head of the table. After Tom is accused of being the murderer, when he's captured in the dining room they're all behind the arm chair as they crack a joke about Adrien Brody. The problem occurs as the shot pulls backwards through the window, which is an average bay window instead of the four sets of two story windows. (00:37:35)

And Then There Were Fewer - S9-E1

Continuity mistake: When Joe is beside the cabinet with the dishes on it, you see there is no bullet hole in any of the plates. One falls off, Joe picks it up and suddenly there's a bullet hole in it.

The Big Bang Theory - S9-E16

Continuity mistake: When Brian and Stewie arrive in Leonardo's atelier we know that they are in Florence for two reasons: because of history and because we see Palazzo Vecchio (which is in Piazza della Signoria, in Florence) outside the window. Then when Stewie and Bertram are fighting with Leonardo's flying machine the city of Florence is wrongly represented as if it was Venice, with the see, the lagoon and the canals.

Underage Peter - S14-E14

Plot hole: They're in the Clam complaining that they can't drink when they make the revelation that Brian can because he's technically 56. But Quagmire should be able to drink, as in a much earlier episode, he's revealed to be over 60.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: Quagmire considers the rest of them to be his best friends. He isn't drinking because they can't drink. He is complaining because since his friends can't drink - he won't drink, so he is still pissed.

It's still a plot hole considering Quagmire's age. I think the writers messed up big time.

You make a good point, but it's awkward to be that one person who is drinking while surrounded by people who can't. So, I understand the correction that was submitted above. Because his friends are not drinking, he now feels that he can't.

It's 100% a mistake. Quagmire simply would buy them alcohol the same way Brian did when they realized he could.

Barely Legal - S5-E8

Connie: You know, Meg, there's no dogs allowed. So, you're going to have to leave. But Brian can stay.
Brian Griffin: You know, Connie, I think I have this theory about why you're such a bitch.
Connie: Excuse me?
Meg Griffin: Brian, let's just go.
Brian Griffin: No, no, no, no, no, no. Hang on a minute, Meg, hang on. You see, Connie, you're popular because you developed early and started giving handjobs when you were twelve. But now you can't stand to look in the mirror because all you see is a whore. So you pick on Meg to avoid the inevitable realization that once your body's used up by age nineteen, you're gonna be a worn out chalky skinned burlap sack that even your own stepdad won't want. How is that? Am I in the ballpark?
[Connie runs off crying].

Business Guy - S8-E9

Question: In the episode, Peter threatens to fire Lois, and she responds with "you wouldn't" and Peter then replies with "Oh really, does the name Lacey Chabert mean anything to you?" which in turn makes Lois go wide eyed and reply with "OK, I'll behave" and Peter then goes on to add "Yes you will" Can anyone explain this joke if it is a joke to comprehend?

Answer: Lacey Chabert was the actress who originally voiced Meg in early episodes. She left of her own accord due to being in school and other acting work; Seth MacFarlane has stated there was no tension with her leaving, but it makes for a handy joke for the show.
