Charmed

Magic Hour - S3-E2

Corrected entry: When the demon with the crossbow fires at the girls, you can hear the sound of arrows coming out of the crossbow. But when he fires at the owl, you can see him aiming and see the owl with the arrow in him, but you never hear the sound of it firing.

Correction: When he fires the arrow at the owl, you can hear both the arrow being fired and it hitting the owl.

The Power of Three Blondes - S6-E4

Corrected entry: The sisters couldn't touch the Book of Shadows after the Stillman sisters stole their identities, so how come later in the episode they hold the book to say the spell to get back their powers without casting a spell to get back their identities?

Correction: After the Stillman Sisters had the argument, they lost the trust of the Book and it returned back to the Halliwell Sisters. This is shown during said argument when the symbol on the cover of the book split apart. The spell they recite at the end was merely to get their identities and powers back.

A Witch in Time - S5-E8

Corrected entry: In this episode when Phoebe and Piper have left the car to go and find Miles (to stop him dying), the second time after past Piper has warned present Piper to go right not left, Phoebe's shoes change from what appear to be black boots or high-heels to flat beige knee length boots.

Correction: Duplicate Entry - the other one explained it better.

Used Karma - S6-E13

Corrected entry: In this episode Paige is wearing a strappy top that shows her back, on which you can see a tattoo of a woman. I'm pretty sure that was never there before in any of the other episodes/series. (00:10:50)

Correction: This is a mistake, not trivia.

Tailkinker

Correction: In the season one episode "Dream Sorcerer", a nurse in the hospital states that Prue is 27 when she is brought in after the accident. This is consistent with her grave saying that she was 31 when she died.

Show generally

Corrected entry: In the first season, witches aren't allowed to know they have a whitelighter, but later in the seasons, all Leo's witches call for him.

Correction: Witches are allowed to know their whitelighter. The Charmed Ones were a special case because their mother had an affair with her whitelighter, so Leo was ordered not to reveal himself to them.

Captain Defenestrator

Correction: Leo can't heal himself, however, the only thing that can kill a whitelighter is a darklighter's arrow. Since Leo was stabbed by a knife, it healed automatically, just like when Piper blows him up time and again.

Correction: Actually, Phoebe tells Paige that Prue did this "squinty thing" with her eyes and that Paige should try that.

Power Outage - S3-E7

Corrected entry: Prue says that they should practice their demon counter attacks so that they can get a piece of Balthazar's flesh, as it "might be helpful for the potion". But in every future episode they say that the flesh is necessary for the potion.

Correction: It was their first time making that kind of potion. They knew in the future that is was the only one that would work.

The Power of Two - S1-E20

Corrected entry: In the first shots of this episode, they show the ghost of Alcatraz and a soul collector. They failed to take away the shadows of both the ghost and the soul collector. There's a scene where a crowd of people are looking into the jail cell that the ghost and the soul collector are in. It shows no ghost, no soul collector and, importantly, no shadows. The next scene shows the ghost and the soul collector, and miraculously they have shadows. (00:02:35 - 00:05:00)

Correction: It's showing what the cell looks like to ordinary people: empty. But then it shows the TV viewers that there really is something in the cell.

Season 6 generally

Corrected entry: Throughout season 6 Chris continually refers to his memories of the Charmed ones in the future (using the words "the three of you", yet in "Oh My Goddess" he tells Phoebe that if he hadn't come back, Paige would have been killed that day. So how can he have memories of the three of them when Paige died before he was born?

Shay

Correction: You've answered your own question: "if he hadn't come back, Paige would have been killed that day." He came back, so she wasn't killed that day, so he has memories of her from the future.

Captain Defenestrator

Sam I Am - S5-E9

Corrected entry: In this episode Paige is assigned Sam, her father and Patty Halliwell's former whitelighter, as a charge but in the episode P3 H20 we find out that Sam clipped his wings - "Piper: Sam was mum's whitelighter?" "Leo: Emphasis on was. When your mom died, Sam clipped his wings. He's mortal now, but once, yeah he was a whitelighter. He looked after your mother"

Correction: He states in this episode that after he died for the second time after being made mortal, the elders made him a whitelighter again.

That Old Black Magic - S2-E6

Corrected entry: Tuatha says that there is no such thing as a courage potion, and when the girls search the book of shadows they also say that there is no magical way of giving confidence. But in episode 1-11, 'Feats of Clay', Piper casts a confidence spell on Doug so he will stop breaking everything in the restaurant.

Correction: Given that the confidence spell on Doug backfired and turned him into a conceited ass, they likely discounted that spell right away.

Captain Defenestrator

Correction: Not really a mistake. Many people have work clothes and casual clothes that they change during the day, especially in the service industry.

Captain Defenestrator

The Truth Is Out There... and It Hurts - S1-E8

Corrected entry: When the demon approached Tanya in the elevator, there were several other people in there with them. The demon immediately started talking about how hard it was to find her, and how she was never alone - which she still isn't, but he doesn't mention that. From Tanya's facial expression, she thought he was very creepy. We cut to Phoebe and Prue trying to get to Tanya before the demon can kill her. Then we see the demon dragging Tanya through the parking lot. But they were in an elevator full of people, and he was some sort of masher, at the very least. Plus, she was in the middle of work, transporting a loaded dolly, so it's extremely unlikely that he could have lured her away. How did he manage to drag her out and into the parking lot?

DavidK93

Correction: Intimidation? A spell? A special power he possessed? There are enough reasonable possibilities to prevent this from being a mistake.

Correction: People cover tattoos with makeup all the time. It's possible she wanted to cover it but later decided she didn't care.

Correction: There was someone else that was around the entire time. Leo.

Correction: When Barbas makes the girls relive their worst memories, Piper's is her father leaving "for the last time," implying that Victor left and came back several times before leaving for good. Given Victor and Patty's rocky marriage, this would have been another of those periods when he was gone and Patty had to make ends meet on her own.

Captain Defenestrator

All Hell Breaks Loose - S3-E22

Corrected entry: In the emergency room after Piper has been shot, it is clear to see that Piper's bullet wound is a through and through, meaning the bullet went in and out, BUT if it did, that means that it should have hit Prue after exiting Piper because Prue was right in front of Prue when the shot was fired.

Correction: Prue was holding the Book of Shadows between herself and Piper, so if anything, the bullet should have lodged in the Book. Perhaps the Book magically protected itself?

Correction: When it's that cold in my house and I see that a lot of windows are open, it's like a figure of speech "all of the windows in the house are open." Phoebe might not have actually KNOWN at that time that EVERY window in the house was actually open.

The Fifth Halliwell - S4-E16

Plot hole: Cole explains that the demonic power is driving Karen mad because she is human. Cole later has Paige infected with one to drive her mad. This doesn't make sense since Paige is doubly not human, and shouldn't be driven mad. In fact the Charmed Ones have had demonic powers before and were not driven mad, but instead turned evil.

Upvote valid corrections to help move entries into the corrections section.

Suggested correction: They all are human, just not mortals.

Answer: That was a mistake in the series.

Also, the episode is called 'Babies First Demon' and this alone tells us that it's Wyatt's first time in the field (so to speak) and as the sisters say, they've done a good job of clearing up their own magical messes so far. Nobody really knows how advanced Wyatt's powers are, or will become. That's why the cleaners appear, to nip things in the bud. The Cleaners didn't want to chance that the sisters could clean Wyatt's magic up, just incase they couldn't. Therefore intervening themselves, just in case.

Chosen answer: When the cleaners first surface in season 6 it is mentioned that usually the girls have been able to clean up their own messes (as seen in season 3 episode 22 when Phoebe turns back time thus concluding in the death of Prue).

Answer: Because they wanted them to fix their own mistakes.
