Charmed

Correction: The Source couldn't enter the church in "Charmed Again (2)" because of the gargoyles. Not every church has gargoyles - maybe the one Phoebe and Cole were getting married in didn't, which would allow him to enter. Given how careful he was about planning the wedding, I'm sure he would have made sure of that first.

Thank You for Not Morphing - S1-E3

Corrected entry: In this episode, their father recalls that Piper Once Upon a Time would only eat white food. She says, "That's right. I was four." And then their father says "Phoebe, that would make you what, one?" And Phoebe says, "Yeah." But in other episodes, if you look on their family tree, Piper was born in 1973 and Phoebe in 1975. So she would be two, not one.

Correction: Yes, this could be the case but you also have to take into account what months Piper and Phoebe were born in. This could have happened just after Piper turned four or just before Phoebe turned two.

Bride and Gloom - S3-E13

Corrected entry: At the beginning of this episode Cole appears in Phoebe's favourite film and says that it is a little trick he learned from the demon of illusion. However, Cole wasn't around in Chick Flick (where the demon of illusion appeared), he didn't come into the show until season 3.

Correction: Cole and the Demon of Illusion have both existed for centuries. Cole could have picked up the "little trick" at any time in the past, perhaps long before the episode "Chick Flick" took place.

Size Matters - S4-E5

Corrected entry: In episode 3-5: "Sight Unseen," the sisters learned the importance of taking mundane precautions when it comes to their personal safety, after Prue was stalked and almost killed by a mortal human being. Particularly stressed was the need to lock their door. In this episode, however, Paige comments that the front door was unlocked, and Leo says that the front door is usually left that way since otherwise demons just break the door down.

DavidK93

Correction: It's possible that, in the year since Prue was stalked, they realised that locking the door was more hassle than it was worth since, as Leo points out, it did keep getting broken. Maybe they changed their minds - it does happen.

Shay

Show generally

Corrected entry: Any time Leo uses his healing touch on someone, their damaged clothing is repaired and their blood stains disappear. Since Leo can't even heal injured animals, his power certainly wouldn't have any effect on torn fabric.

DavidK93

Correction: Since Leo fixes broken pipes with his power in "Saving Private Leo" and the P3 sign in "Size Matters", we can assume that he can heal just about anything. It's anyone's guess why he can't heal animals.

Centennial Charmed - S5-E12

Corrected entry: How does Paige know so much? First of all she knows that Cole is behind it all, though any number of demons have the ability to create temporal folds and as far as she knew Cole wasn't one of them. Second she knows that Phoebe is unhappy with Cole, just from talking to her for a few seconds. In fact, when she mentioned that she could help Phoebe get rid of him Phoebe threw her out. She seems to realise what's going on simply to save on exposition.

Shay

Correction: Paige had been suspicious of Cole for a long time at this point. Her assumptions just happened to be correct. Phoebe threw Paige out because Phoebe said she stayed with Cole so that he wouldn't kill Piper; she probably didn't want Cole to hear Paige and think Phoebe was conspiring against him and thus go ahead and kill Piper.

Correction: She didn't die. Her spirit was still there, close to her body. As they explain it all the time, you die when you move on. When you're a ghost, you haven't moved on yet.

Show generally

Corrected entry: From the episode where she gets her explosion power Piper seems to ignore her freezing power, even when it would be better to use it. For example, in any episode where she is faced with more than one demon instead of blowing them up one at a time it would make more sense to freeze them all at once. Even if her explosions are more powerful sometimes, there's no logical reason why she should always use them in every situation.

Shay

Correction: Yes, there is no LOGICAL reason. But considering that Prue was the only one to ever get a pure offensive power (and remembering how long Phoebe whined about not getting an active power), it makes sense that Piper, having been thinking about this all these years, would use the spectacular, flashy, big-boom power before her tried and true freezing, especially in high-pressure situations. Also remember that Piper's known from the start that she can't freeze certain baddies, so it makes sense that her first instinct would be to "reach for the explosions."

Centennial Charmed - S5-E12

Corrected entry: Cole enters his apartment on the first night and wishes himself a happy birthday. The next night is the night when Paige is at P3 and he turns the world into his alternate reality, then the next day is when Paige goes to the manor and finds his birthday in full swing. Even with the minor possibility that it was after midnight on the first night, his party is still a day late.

Shay

Correction: I have often had parties for my birthday on days other than my birthday.

House Call - S5-E13

Corrected entry: At the end of the episode, at P3, a tray falls onto the floor and Leo starts to tease Piper about it. A few moments later, when he jokingly runs off, Piper actually yells "Brian" instead of "Leo", which is really Brian Krause's character's name.

Correction: Actually, Piper throws the magazine to Leo and yells "Run", not Brian.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Fair enough, Paige didn't get her witchly powers until she met her sisters and they vanquished Shax together. But not all of her powers are rooted in witchcraft - her orbing, at least, is rooted 100% in her whitelighter heritage. We saw that she orbed in the crash that killed her adopted parents - so why did it take her, conveniently, 21 years to find out she could orb?

Phoebe

Correction: Remember that at first Paige could only orb instinctively to escape from danger, and how often does that happen in everyday life? The car crash and the first time she used her powers to escape Shax were probably the only times she had ever used her power. Her later ability to orb anywhere, anytime, came from months of training.

Black as Cole - S4-E8

Corrected entry: In this episode Cole says "upper level demons have a human form and they bleed red, not green", but when Cole told Phoebe he was half human he said "how else could I bleed red, even in my demonic form".

Correction: He said that to Phoebe because she did not yet know that upper level demons bleed red.

Be Careful What You Witch For - S2-E22

Corrected entry: In this episode, Phoebe has a sprained ankle from fighting a demon. Surely as it was an injury caused by fighting evil (as stated in an earlier episode, Leo can only heal injuries caused by witch related activities), Leo should have been able to heal it?

Correction: Phoebe doesn't need a witch power to suffer from a sprained ankle, whether it's because of a demon or not. A sprained ankle happens to a lot of normal people, hence Leo's reason not to heal it.

Centennial Charmed - S5-E12

Corrected entry: Although the actress has changed, Piper's doctor appears to be the same character as Eva, the shuvani, Paige even says 'we saved her shuvani tribe'. But throughout this episode they call her Eve. And she isn't a different tribe member because Paige tells Piper she already knows of their power, and Eva is the only one who knew from her tribe. (00:04:20)

Correction: Ava was the doctor whose clan they helped by vanquishing Orin in the "The Eyes Have It". Later on in the episode "Centennial Charmed" Eve is helping Piper prepare for Wyatt, and Paige almost orbs in front of her by accident while sneezing. They send Eve out of the room to find some ingredients after she suggests an old Gypsy remedy to stop the sneezing, and Phoebe says "it's a good thing Eve didn't see that." Paige doesn't see the big deal, because she belonged to the same gypsy clan as Ava, and says "You'd think she'd be fine with it". Phoebe says "it's one thing to know, it's another thing to actually see it." Eve and Ava are two totally different people. They look similar and they both belong to the Nicolae Gypsy Clan, but that's it. Eve knows they helped save her clan somehow, but has never seen, and may not even know about their powers.

The Wendigo - S1-E12

Corrected entry: Approximately 10 minutes into the episode, the Haliwells are in the kitchen getting breakfast. While sitting at the table, Piper is heard to say "it's not, it's fine", but her lips don't move. (00:10:20)

pinkwafer

Correction: The shot is moving toward her while she is saying the line. It doesn't show her face.

Something Wicca This Way Comes - S1-E1

Corrected entry: The newspaper which you can see Prue holding at the end of this episode (right before she 'half-blinks' to shut the door) has something written on it like yadda yadda yadda 'Doubt Fire' yadda yadda yadda. Yep, thats right, the same newspaper from Mrs Doubtfire. (00:42:25)

Correction: Not sure if I'm missing something but the newspaper actually says Beneath the Heading 'Gazette': 'Police Doubt Fire Was Accidental' with a photo beneath of what looks like a burning apartment building.

Forever Charmed - S8-E22

Corrected entry: The past versions of Patty and Penny are amazed to learn that their daughters and granddaughters, respectively, are the Charmed Ones. However, both women knew the centuries-old prophecy that three sisters would eventually be born into the Warren line, and that they would be the Charmed Ones. It's conceivable that Patty, who came from a time before the birth of Phoebe, would not have thought of the prophecy at this time. Penny, however, came from after Phoebe was born, and previous flashback episodes had shown that Penny knew that the three sisters were the Charmed Ones immediately when the third sister was born, and was still convinced of the fact up until Penny's death [despite the birth of a fourth daughter to Patty].

DavidK93

Correction: Yes, perhaps Penny did believe the girls would eventually become The Charmed Ones, but this wasn't confirmed to her [officially]. For all she knew, one of them would refuse their powers, die young [before their powers were restored], etc. Also, she died immediately after making a potion to strip their powers [Re-witched, Season 3]. She could have simply been expressing amazement that her beliefs were confirmed about her granddaughters' destiny. After all, she does say "I always knew The Charmed Ones would come from me...well, once removed, of course. It's one thing to believe a prophecy will come true, it's another to actually witness Future Piper confirming her belief.

jademoon

The original post is correct. Penny did know they'd be the Charmed Ones as soon as it was known that Patty was having a third child. That's the entire reason the warlock Nicholas made Patty bless the ring, and why Grams' bound their powers. It's been stated in other episodes as well. So Penny definitely knew, but in Forever Charmed she was shocked when Patty told her the girls would become the Charmed Ones.

Correction: In addition to healing the victims eyes, vanquishing the Grimlocks also returns their vision.

Then wouldn't have Daryl revived his sight sight back before Leo healed him since they vanquished the grimlocks 1st?

Correction: Phoebe's hair was changed from brown to blonde because of the Lost and Found spell she cast.

Marry-Go-Round - S4-E15

Corrected entry: After Page turns Pheobe invisible, Pheobe jumbs up and down, but the clothes in the mirror that are supposed to be her reflection don't move at all.

Correction: Actually that is not Phoebe's reflection, but Piper's. I you look closely you can see the bottom part of Piper's head in the mirror.

Stephen Edmonds 1

My Three Witches - S6-E6

Plot hole: When Gith takes the potion from Chris, he ends up stomping on it and shattering the potion bottle - making contact with the potion. We've seen that potions don't have to be thrown by someone who's even a witch for them to work (like when Cole's powers were stripped etc) so why on earth would he do this? And how did it not vanquish him? There are other ways he could have gotten rid of the potion that didn't involve a way that really should have vanquished him.
