Cat House - S5-E18

Corrected entry: Phoebe says to Paige that she didn't know that Kit was their familiar, that she was just some cat that kept hanging around on the porch. But they learned that Kit was their familiar in episode 3-17 'Pre-Witched', and they also said that Kit is male, unlike the woman in this episode.

Correction: They did not learn that Kit was their familiar in "Pre-Witched." The idea of familiars was introduced that episode, but they never explicitly stated that Kit was theirs. It may have been hinted towards the audience the way the cat always hung around them and such, but no one ever actually told the girls' that Kit was their familiar. Granted, you'd think they would've suspected it being witches and all, but since it wasn't actually stated until "Cat House" I would not consider it a plot hole/error. They did call Kit a boy though, and not just in that episode, so the fact that Kit turns into a woman when revealed as their familiar is certainly an error.

Cat House - S5-E18

Corrected entry: In episode 3-9: "Coyote Piper," Piper danced sexily on the bar while the song "Unbelievable" played. She danced only to the one song before her sisters pulled her off the bar. In this episode, Phoebe and Paige physically enter Piper's memory (magically enhanced for accuracy), and a different song plays during Piper's dance, despite it being the exact same video footage. (00:33:35)

DavidK93

Correction: The reason why the music is different when Piper is dancing on top of the bar in the memory of the episode "Cat House" is because once the series had ended, any music that was used during the course of the series the license had ended and could no longer be used, with the future reproduction of DVDs of the series. All music that was used including the theme song was replaced, all with the exception of the scenes of the many different bands that performed at P3, which were kept and along with the show's outro music, which was composed by the show production staff Jay Gruska. Any TV networks that air the show will still have the original music, but other video media platforms such as Netflix, will have the new changes to it.

Thanks for the information, but in this case, if true, it proves that the change was made in episode 5-8 as aired on TV, because I saw music other than "Unbelievable" on television, in syndication on TNT, rather than on a platform. The reason I noticed the difference was that I watched the two episodes close together in time, both on TNT.

Necromancing the Stone - S5-E21

Corrected entry: In this episode Wyatt has his wiccaning. After all of the vanquishing is done with the Necromancer, it's finally time for the wiccaning and the spell that is said is this: "I call forth from space and time, Matriarchs from the Halliwell line, Mothers, daughters, sisters, friends Our family spirit without end, To gather now in this sacred place And help bring this child to grace." In this spell it is said to bring forth "daughters and sisters" from the Halliwell line, Prue died in the third season and this is now the fifth season, shouldn't she have been summoned as well to bring her nephew Wyatt to grace?

Correction: Gram and Patty revealed in the comic book version that Prue could not be at the wiccaning because she was reincarnated to her next life as Patience because her destiny was not complete.

A Witch's Tail (1) - S5-E1

Corrected entry: In the episode "P3 H20" we learn that Patty died because of the Water Demon, which is why Prue is afraid of water. However in this episode we are told that Patty was killed by the Sea Hag, and that's why Piper develops her demon fear upon becoming pregnant.

MeganP23

Correction: Paige actually mentions the water demon. Saying that the Sea Hag reminds her of it and that it kills in a fascinating way. That is when Piper states that she knows about the water demon because it killed their mother.

Sympathy for the Demon - S5-E7

Corrected entry: Cole says Barbas can use his powers to become the Source, but in the episode "Womb Raider" they established that an aspiring Source needs to lay his hands on the Grimoire to become the source, which was hidden away by Leo in the Andes. (00:19:40)

Correction: Cole doesn't say this. After stealing his powers, Barbas mentions that he can use the amount of power to become the new Source. It isn't proved in the episode that it would actually work, as he never gets to the ceremonial part. Perhaps the Grimoire would have been needed eventually, or seeing the amount of power Cole owns in this season, the Grimoire might have not been needed anymore.

The Importance of Being Phoebe - S5-E11

Corrected entry: Close to the end of the episode, when Phoebe is going into the house pretending to be Kaia pretending to be Phoebe, Paige and Piper tell Phoebe that the demon twirls her hair, a lot. Cole also brought this to our attention much earlier in the episode. Phoebe says she's got it, and goes into the house. Paige had indicated that the problem with getting into the house was that there's a "whole load of demons" and a force field. Phoebe was to impersonate Kaia in order to get past all of these defenses. But throughout the whole time she's in the house, Phoebe never twirls her hair. (00:38:40)

Correction: That's true, but she had already proved herself to be Kaia to the demon actually guarding the door. So it's possible that the demons inside the house didn't pay that much attention to her actions after she had already been given the 'ok' by their guard.

Cat House - S5-E18

Corrected entry: When Phoebe and Paige are in Piper's memory of her wedding, the warlock steps on the cake topper, crushing it. Piper feels a pain in her heart, and it shows it disappearing in the future, leading you to believe that it will have some significance. Yet, it is never brought up again in the series.

Correction: It foreshadows the couple's marriage falling apart next season.

Correction: We are talking about completely different powers that act in completely different ways - it's not the same as stripping his demon half from his human half.

Correction: When Piper was referring to the old system, she was talking about the disorderly system that they had before. Not the alphabetized system, which they probably abandoned after the spell wore off in House's Call.

Correction: Since Phoebe tricked Emma into using the power-stripping potion on Cole by allowing her to think it was a potion to vanquish him, it can be accurately stated that Phoebe was the one who stripped Cole of his powers.

Centennial Charmed - S5-E12

Corrected entry: Paige realises at the end that time went on in her own dimension at the same time as it went on in the alternate reality, and Piper calmly comments "Oh there you are. We were wondering" or words to that effect. Paige had been gone over a day and Leo wouldn't have been able to sense her across dimensions. Weren't Phoebe or Piper the least bit worried about her? (00:40:40)

Shay

Correction: At this time Paige is wanting space from the sisters so there was no reason for them or Leo to look for her. It was like that when Paige and Phoebe moved out - they did not see each other every day.

Sympathy for the Demon - S5-E7

Corrected entry: When Barbas posing as Leo walks down with Piper, she sees a memory of her as a child. When "Leo" asks what she sees she says "It's okay, I remember this". Little her in the memory was running down the stairs with a toy telling her grams that she loves it. Then her father Victor approaches and gives little Piper a hug, a demon magically appears and attacks them, little Piper screams and Victor protects her while grams says a spell. How can Piper says she remembers this if they never knew about magic at the time?

RandShami

Correction: Grams has already been shown to have the power to erase memories. For example in That 70's Episode, Grams made it so that little Andy wouldn't remember being frozen by little Piper. That means that she could have made Piper not remember the demon.

The Eyes Have It - S5-E6

Corrected entry: When Phoebe had her premonition of Lydia being attacked by Cree, why didn't she immediately warn her? Lydia is a Gypsy high priestess, which Phoebe knows because she just saw Lydia perform a religious ceremony, and she also knows from the previous events in the episode that Gypsy elders are aware of Wiccan magic. But instead she said nothing and waited to talk to her sisters before doing anything about the premonition. So although they were able to save Lydia, she wound up being needlessly attacked and injured.

DavidK93

Correction: This was a decision made by the character of Phoebe, not a mistake made by the writers.

rockycm

Correction: Javna is the Charmed Ones' second vanquish, so it isn't all that unreasonable to assume they didn't know (or remember) that Javna's power was "the evil eye" since they were so new to the craft. They used the Hand of Fatima to vanquish him, and no "evil eye" was mentioned in 1-2 "I've Got You Under My Skin."

jademoon

Correction: The evil eye was mentioned by Prue when they read the Javna entry.

The Importance of Being Phoebe - S5-E11

Corrected entry: When Cole and Kaya are taunting Piper and Paige about the fact that they now own the manor, they hold the deeds out in front of them laughing for a good 5 seconds. Did they, and more importantly did Paige herself, forget that she can orb things to her? She could easily have summoned the deeds and orbed out of the house before Cole could stop her. (00:33:35)

Shay

Correction: Even if Paige orbed the paperwork to herself, it wouldn't have mattered. It wasn't the physical possession of the papers that mattered, it was the legal possession that Cole got when they used them as collateral.

Season 5 generally

Corrected entry: All through the first 12 episodes of season 5, Phoebe keeps trying to convince Cole that his powers are evil and therefor he is evil too. But in ep. 4:12 "Lost and Bound", (3rd act) Piper firmly tells the firestarter, "No, but that's not how powers work. They're not good or bad by themselves, it's how we use them."

Correction: Numerous possible explanations: 1. Phoebe and Piper disagree about how 'powers' work. 2. One of them was lying, for whatever reason. 3. One of them was wrong.

Necromancing the Stone - S5-E21

Corrected entry: When Paige casts the truth spell on Nate, Nate just starts telling her the truth about everything like how he's married and has kids BUT when Prue cast the truth spell a question had to be asked in order for the truth to be told.

Correction: When Paige firsts cast the spell she tells Nate that she is a witch and asks how would he feel about it. She then orbs to convince him she is a witch and she asks him again. Thats when he says, "I have to tell my wife about this" and she asks, "You're married?" to which he responds yes and adds he has children as well.

Stephen Edmonds 1

Correction: If you look at the right side of the front of the house their are stairs that lead up too another room.

A Witch in Time - S5-E8

Corrected entry: In this episode when Phoebe and Piper have left the car to go and find Miles (to stop him dying), the second time after past Piper has warned present Piper to go right not left, Phoebe's shoes change from what appear to be black boots or high-heels to flat beige knee length boots.

Correction: Duplicate Entry - the other one explained it better.

Sam I Am - S5-E9

Corrected entry: In this episode Paige is assigned Sam, her father and Patty Halliwell's former whitelighter, as a charge but in the episode P3 H20 we find out that Sam clipped his wings - "Piper: Sam was mum's whitelighter?" "Leo: Emphasis on was. When your mom died, Sam clipped his wings. He's mortal now, but once, yeah he was a whitelighter. He looked after your mother"

Correction: He states in this episode that after he died for the second time after being made mortal, the elders made him a whitelighter again.

The Fifth Halliwell - S4-E16

Plot hole: Cole explains that the demonic power is driving Karen mad because she is human. Cole later has Paige infected with one to drive her mad. This doesn't make sense since Paige is doubly not human, and shouldn't be driven mad. In fact the Charmed Ones have had demonic powers before and were not driven mad, but instead turned evil.

Suggested correction: They all are human, just not mortals.

Trivia: Lori Rom was originally cast as Phoebe but left the show after filming the pilot episode for personal reasons.

More trivia for Charmed

Answer: That was a mistake in the series.

Also, the episode is called 'Babies First Demon' and this alone tells us that it's Wyatt's first time in the field (so to speak) and as the sisters say, they've done a good job of clearing up their own magical messes so far. Nobody really knows how advanced Wyatt's powers are, or will become. That's why the cleaners appear, to nip things in the bud. The Cleaners didn't want to chance that the sisters could clean Wyatt's magic up, just incase they couldn't. Therefore intervening themselves, just in case.

Chosen answer: When the cleaners first surface in season 6 it is mentioned that usually the girls have been able to clean up their own messes (as seen in season 3 episode 22 when Phoebe turns back time thus concluding in the death of Prue).

Answer: Because they wanted them to fix their own mistakes.
