The One Where They're Going To PARTY! - S4-E9
Revealing mistake: When Monica and Phoebe are in Central Perk, Phoebe is looking through the list of ideas that Monica has come up with for the use of Phoebe's van. If you look closely (most obvious just after Phoebe says "let's plan the wedding reception") you can see that every single page of the notebook Phoebe is holding has the same thing written on it, instead of lots of different ideas that Monica is meant to have had. The One With Rachel's Other Sister - S9-E8
Revealing mistake: When Chandler grabs his bag he accidentally lets the box full of wedding china fall off the stool. Watch closely (play in slow-motion). The box falls on the floor and shattered china falls out. The china was ALREADY broken before it falls on the ground. (00:23:00)
Revealing mistake: When Monica and Rachel apologise to Danny, as he shuts his door for the second time the set wall visibly shakes. (00:07:55)
The One With All The Candy - S7-E9
Revealing mistake: At the start of the episode, when Ross says, "No, one daddy, two mommies," Ben is mouthing the line along with him. (00:00:15)
The One with the Dozen Lasagnas - S1-E12
Revealing mistake: After Phoebe tells Rachel that Paolo made a pass at her, we see a shot of the outside of Monica's apartment block and Rachel is throwing Paolo's clothes out of the window. Look closely and you can see the clothes have been very badly superimposed on to the background. (00:17:05)
Suggested correction: The show sent a crew to New York to film the clothes being thrown from the same building that is used in establishing shots. In a wide-screen version of the episode, the clothes can be seen being thrown out a window (although in the episode the clothes are supposedly thrown off a balcony).
The One Where They're Going To PARTY! - S4-E9
Revealing mistake: When Phoebe is looking at the front page of the "Chelsea Reporter," Monica says her restaurant review is on the back page. However, Phoebe doesn't turn to the back page, but merely flips the paper over, looking at the bottom of the front page (and finding the review there). (00:07:30)
The One With a Chick. And a Duck. - S3-E21
Revealing mistake: When Joey comes in with the shoebox containing the chick, it looks like a normal sized box, about 5 - 6 inches deep. But when Joey takes the lid off, we can see that the chick must be elevated on something inside the box, since we can see its entire body. Surely, the chick can't be more than 6 inches tall? The One with the Blackout - S1-E7
Revealing mistake: When Phoebe says something like, "Look, the last candle is about to go out", she starts counting down, saying "-47,-48..." and you can see Monica looking at the candle. But there is a light source behind her (it can't be a candle because she is looking at the last candle). (00:20:05)
The One with All the Poker - S1-E18
Revealing mistake: When Rachel is doing the shuffling trick, it is clear that it is a trick deck. The cards, whilst flying from one hand to the other, change the angle of flight in mid-air, and some of them even move backwards as she moves her hands further apart from each other. This could only happen if the cards were connected to each other. (00:13:20)
The One with the Fake Monica - S1-E21
Revealing mistake: In the scene when Marcel has to get on the plane. It is obvious that David Schwimmer is just shaking his leg and Marcel is doing nothing besides sit on David's foot. It is especially obvious in the second shot. (00:20:45)
The One With The Giant Poking Device - S3-E8
Revealing mistake: The giant poking device is supposedly long enough to reach right across to the next building, but after they wake up Ugly Naked Guy, Joey says "retract the device!" and after pulling back about a foot of it the end suddenly pops up at the bottom of the screen. (00:20:25)
The One Where Joey Moves Out - S2-E16
Revealing mistake: When Chandler and Joey are arguing, they go into their rooms and slam the doors. By Chandler's door, you can see the wall move. (00:10:35)
The One That Could Have Been, part 1 - S6-E15
Revealing mistake: In the opening credits for both parts, fat Monica jumps on the couch and it lifts up on Chandler's end. If you look carefully at Chandler, you can see him holding one end of the couch with his hand and pressing up with his foot. (00:02:10)
The One Where Rachel Has a Baby, part 2 - S8-E24
Revealing mistake: When Rachel's baby is born, she is held up for Rachel and Ross to see, and she has no umbilical cord. There is no way the cord could have been cut that quickly. (00:34:15)
Revealing mistake: When Joey and Phoebe are driving back, the outside is obviously a projection. (00:10:15)
The One Where Emma Cries - S9-E2
Revealing mistake: When Emma starts crying and Rachel picks her up, look at how much the baby is moving when she takes it out of the cot. In the next shot it's suddenly only moving it's head, and very slowly at that. This is because it's a robot - and it's very obvious. (00:06:10)
The One With Ross's Thing - S3-E23
Revealing mistake: When the car catches fire you can see that the fire is not in the car but behind the car. (00:05:00)
The One Where Monica and Richard Are Just Friends - S3-E13
Revealing mistake: When Richard gets tomato juice on his shirt and Monica goes to get some soda for it, you can't see any juice on his shirt. (00:08:25)
The One Where Chandler Doesn't Like Dogs - S7-E8
Revealing mistake: When Rachel and Tag are in the hall at the end of the episode, the tan mark from Jennifer Aniston's wedding ring is visible on her hand. (00:19:15)
