Cruel Intentions (1999)

Corrected entry: In the scene where Sarah Michelle Gellar teaches Selma Blair how to kiss, afterwards Sarah pours a drink into a glass which she is holding in her left hand. She takes a sip with the cup in her left hand. The next shot is of Selma, and the glass is in Sarah's right hand. For the next shot, the glass is in Sarah's right hand.

Correction: Gellar is right-handed. She pours with her right hand, takes a sip as she sets the bottle down, then moves the drink from her left hand to her right offscreen during the shot on Blair. She has several seconds in which to do this, and the glass remains in her right hand for the rest of the scene.

X-Men 2 (2003)

Corrected entry: Nightcrawler's bottom teeth change from straight to jagged throughout the movie when Storm and Jean are cleaning his wound in the church and he says "....here", they're straight but when he's 'hissing' at the President they're jagged.

Correction: At least in these two scenes, they're always jagged - it's more obvious when he opens his mouth wide, because they are contrasted against his throat, but even when his jaw is closed, the tips of his teeth are pointed.

Resident Evil (2002)

Corrected entry: When Rain shoots the 1st zombie with her machine gun, as soon as the camera pans back to her the machine gun is no longer in her hands.

Correction: Rain can be seen lowering the gun when the shot comes back to her. She's holding it in her right hand offscreen while she pulls the bandage from her shoulder pocket with her left hand.

Resident Evil (2002)

Corrected entry: Near the end of the movie, you see Rain check to see how much time is left to escape. You see she is injured on her left hand where the watch is. She has a bandaid on, but on the next shot you see she doesn't have it on anymore.

Correction: She is injured on her right hand, and wears the watch on her right wrist. There is never a bandage on her left hand.

Resident Evil (2002)

Corrected entry: In the dining hall B part of the movie, the guy fires 8 shots out of the same revolver and you can clearly see there's only 6 chambers.

Correction: If "the guy" is Kaplan, he never fires more than twice in a single shot, with frequent cuts to the zombies and other characters. As a trained soldier, he would be able to reload quickly in a combat environment.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: Both this movie and the first one revolve around Hitler's fascination with the occult. In reality, Hitler only had a mild interest with spiritual matters. Heinrich Himmler was the one with the strong interest in such things.

Grumpy Scot

Correction: We never see that it is literally Hitler ordering these missions, though the non-German characters generalize that Hitler is pursuing them. Someone within his administration, like Himmler, could be carrying these out without specific approval and the Americans would assume that it is Hitler's orders. Actions of a country are attributed to that country's leader.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: In the scene where Indy and Kasim are fighting on the speedboat while it is being chopped up by the propeller of a ship, the windscreen on the boat is upright, and just as Indy says to Kasim " why are you trying to kill us?" the windscreen is lying flat.

Correction: The windshield is always flat after Indy grabs Kasim, but the light reflecting off the panels sometimes make it look upright. You can see them vibrating.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: How did the Coronado-guys manage to come after Indy so quickly? He had a horse, while they had a car, and they certainly couldn't drive it in that rocky landscape, so they would have to run some distance on foot.

Correction: Both Indy and the thieves run to the same rocky outcrop, with the thieves about twenty seconds later than Indy. Both call their respective rides from the same point, and the cars turn up just fine. The thieves close some of the distance for the chase to the train.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: When River Phoenix first finds the whip in the car with the lion. He uses the whip, hits himself in the chin and is bleeding, the camera flashes to the lion, and when it flashes back, he is bleeding down the other side of his chin.

Correction: In both of these shots, and the others in the lion's car, he is bleeding from a diagonal cut that runs down the left side of his chin.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: When the Nazi drives the tank off the cliff and the turret falls off, the top of the tank body has no opening into, as Sallah would put it, "the belly of that steel beast". Obviously, a very cheap prop model tank with a turret glued on top.

Correction: The entrance is the dark spot on the top of the turret. It is visible as the tank falls off the cliff, in the closing shot on the Nazi, and when the tank hits the ground.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: When Indy and his father are captured in the castle and the Germans leave (with Donovan) it's rainy and dark outside, yet when Indy and his father escape a few moments later and take the motorcycle it's clear daylight.

Correction: When the Joneses are tied up in the hall, light is streaming through the windows and making strong shadows on the floor. When Donovan leaves, it is shadowed but obviously not raining, therefore probably in a garage or covered area.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: When Indy is running after Marion in Cairo, just before he gets to the square filled with people carrying baskets, a man is sitting on the ground with a Walkman headphone on.

Correction: There are three men Indy sees in the alleys before he reaches the square, two of them sitting, one standing, and each in his own area. All of them are wearing turbans, have facial hair, and are placed in the middle to far background. This makes it impossible to say they are wearing headphones.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: Right after Harry stabs the Baslik it swings around in the chamber before falling down. When it is swinging around in the background you can see Ginny laying on the ground but Tom Riddle isn't anywhere around. In the next shot he is standing right next to Ginny.

Correction: Ginny is lying on the ground and Riddle is in the background beyond her by about ten feet. There is a closeup on Riddle's face after the basilisk falls, and when we see him next several seconds later he is moving toward Ginny opposite Harry. He had plenty of time to move from his position during the fight to Ginny's side.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: When Harry and Ron get out of the Dark Forest, Harry shuts his door. In the next shot the car starts up and his door gets shut by the car.

Correction: Harry doesn't actually close the door: he rests his hand on it as he climbs out of the car, but he never puts much force on it and we don't hear the door shut.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: Towards the end of the movie, the thunderstorm where Bastian is smashes the window. Later, when he goes to the window to shout out the Empress' new name, the window is intact.

Correction: Two windows are shown when the storm gusts into Bastian's attic: one has two panels and blows inward, another is a single panel with nine panes that shatters. Bastian runs to the open window.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: When they are having the sex talk and Josie and Tracy are talking about sex, Josie is trying to put on the condom. When Mr. Koolsen gets shot in the eye with the condom, the camera goes back and forth with the teacher and the 2 girls. When it does this, the banana in front of Tracy is gone then it reappears.

Correction: The banana isn't missing, it's toward the front of the desk. The legs of the plastic stand and the banana stem are visible at the far right side of the screen. Tracy finished with it and pushed it out of the way.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: In the scene where Harry is in the hospital wing and he is talking to Dobby, he has his bedside light on. He soon hears the teachers bringing in Colin Creevey petrified and Dobby disappears. In this shot, the light is on, but in the shot when Harry is in bed, the light has just mysteriously turned off.

Correction: As the teachers walk through the door, Harry is lying on the bed with the light on, but the light does not fall on his face. The later shot is a closeup on Harry's face, with the light still not falling on it. No inconsistency.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: When Harry Ron & Hermione are at the end of year feast, Hagrid bursts into the hall leaving the door open behind him. Then, when all the children are around him the doors are closed. In the next shot, they have opened again.

Correction: In this shot, before the doors are shown open again, the background is the side of the dining hall, not the back. What appears to be closed wooden double doors is a wall decoration.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: In the dueling scene, the first spell is performed on Harry. He flips through the air, but when he lands, he lands a different way than he should according to the way he was flipping.

sdgirl98

Correction: Malfoy hits him in the chest slightly off-center, which blasts Harry up and into a backflip with a slight turn to the left. He flips backwards twice, then lands on his left side. When he sits up, he is leaning on his left side. Nothing unusual here.

Phoenix

Corrected entry: Harry's arm guard comes off after it is hit with the bludger during the Quidditch scene. When he catches the snitch and falls, it is still on. When he is on the ground, it's gone again.

Correction: Harry loses his right arm guard to the bludger. He then catches the Snitch with his left hand and falls. The missing guard never reappears, though Harry does have a dark leather glove that extends up his wrist to his robe.
