Corrected entry: When Lupin's class are facing the Boggart in the wardrobe, the wardrobe shakes violently. However, in the scene with Harry's Patronus lesson, we see a Boggart in a suitcase, and the suitcase is perfectly still.

Correction: The reason the wardrobe shakes is because the Boggart senses all the different people in the room and is "riled-up" by all the energy and of the different thoughts of what scares them the most, but when it is in the suitcase there is just Harry and Lupin so it isn't so bombarded with different energy and fears.

Chasing Amy (1997)

Corrected entry: When Holden finds out that Alyssa is a lesbian, he freaks out. But shouldn't he already know that since the first time he saw her she was on a minority panel at a comic con for being a lesbian?

Correction: It is never said that she is on the panel for being a lesbian, it is possible she was on the panel for being a woman in a mostly male world. That is what Holden assumed anyway.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Hagrid takes Harry through the Leaky Couldron to get to Diagon Alley, everyone stops and stares at Harry. One man says to Harry, "It's a pleasure to have you back, Mr. Potter," and then a woman speaks to him and gives a name, but this woman is not credited at the end of the film (it goes by order of appearence, so she would be right before Proffesor Quirrel.)The reason she is not credited is because she is none other than J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter books.

Correction: J.K. has stated on her website that she has never been in any of the movies, she was asked but declined. It is just an erroneous rumour that she is Doris Crockford.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Harry borrows Ron's copy of the Daily Prophet, Harry reads the article out loud. He says, "...the vault in question, number 713...". However, if you look closely at the article, it doesn't give a number, and the number on the photograph isn't visible. (00:54:40)

Correction: I zoomed in on the Daily Prophet and had a look, and it does actually show the vault number, it is a few lines down and next to the photo, it's a bit blurry but legible.

troy fox

I have also zoomed and cannot see the numbers written - not in the section Harry reads from.

Corrected entry: In the scene where Harry and Ron are eating the sweets on the train, if possible, turn on the subtitles. Harry picks up a Chocolate Frog and opens it. The frog jumps out and Ron says that it's the cards you want. Harry pulls out a card with Dumbledore on it. At this point read the subtitles. Ron says "I've got Dumbledore." Then "I've got 'bout 200 meself." Think hard. Ron said Harry's line. Harry was supposed to say "I've got Dumbledore." (00:36:00)

Correction: I actually watched the movie to check this out and after turning up the volume and listening very closely it is Harry that says the line, he is however using a higher then normal voice, we all do when we are surprised.

The Ring (2002)

Corrected entry: When Noah and Rachel reach the upstairs of the barn to Samara's old room, her carousel is playing even though no one has probably been up in that room in years. Noah and Rachel don't find this strange, not when it magically starts playing, nor when it magically stops.

Jeanne Perrotta

Correction: They are trying to stop being killed by a video tape curse, so at that point I think they aren't surprised by anything.

Show generally

Corrected entry: It has always troubled me that no-one ever thinks to try using a gun on the demons. The Rocket Launcher worked on The Judge in Series 2, so why not just try a gun? Especially on people like Caleb, who appears to be human, why waste two potential slayers on trying to fight him when you could just shoot him? Or at least see if it worked.

Correction: The rocket launcher didn't actually kill The Judge, if you remember the whole "No weapon forged" speech, what it did was separate his limbs and keep them separate so that he wasn't animate. Most demons have to be killed along the same line as vamps, stake, fire, beheading. Caleb is practically super-human, and as we have seen in Season six when Buffy was shot, unless you get the heart you aren't going to kill someone who is stronger then the average human. Also, the whole point of having the Potentials fight is to train them to what it is really like to be the Slayer, so guns do not come into it.

Corrected entry: At the end when Scrooge brings the turkey to the Crachet's house, the turkey is raw. But moments later when they all sit at the table it is already cooked.

Correction: Actually, it isn't moments later - we see Scrooge and all the Muppets enter the house, then there is a shot of outside where Gonzo/Dickens tells us what happens after this. Then when the camera cuts back into the house, everyone is settled at the table and some of the people who were first there have left, so we know at least some time has passed, possibly enough time to cook the turkey.

Little Nicky (2000)

Corrected entry: Nicky tells his brother that when he left, their dad got sick, but his brother said "I'm glad he's dying" but he did not yet know that his father was dying.

Sol Parker

Correction: Since their father is the Devil and pretty much Immortal, we can assume that anything that will make him sick is fully capable of killing him and his son probably knew that.

School Hard - S2-E3

Corrected entry: In the scene where Spike is introduced, one vampire boasts, "When I kill the slayer, it will be the greatest event since the crucifixion." But slayers die every 5-10 years, and have for millenia. What makes killing Buffy special enough to warrant this?

Phoenix

Correction: Since Buffy has been called to Sunnydale because there is a Hellmouth there, killing her will give the vamps and demons the chance to open the Hellmouth, and we all know what happens after that.

troy fox

Corrected entry: Why would Ewan die as the first one? In the pile-up scene, he dies as one of the last persons. Yet in the first movie they die in the order in which they would have died.

Correction: It is made clear in the movie that this time Death's design is different than FD1, the people who die in FD2 are dying in reverse, so Ewen being the last to die in the pile-up dies first.

Event Horizon (1997)

Corrected entry: When Justin gets sucked to outer space, he should freeze almost instantly, because space is too cold.

Correction: Contrary to popular belief, you wouldn't freeze right away, or even within seconds. To freeze your body needs to radiate away the heat it contains, which means the liquid in Justin's body would start to boil, which then turns to steam and freezes. It would not happen instantly, but would take a few minutes.

Show generally

Corrected entry: Why do vampires take different amounts of time to turn to dust? Generic vampires disintigrate instantly, while vampires that play a larger role in the episode usually take from 4-5 seconds to die.

Correction: The older a Vampire is the stronger the demon gets, so a vamp who is 200 years old can stay "alive" for the few seconds, where as Vamps who are freshly risen are weak so usually dust almost right away.

troy fox

Corrected entry: Why was the Bride able to move her arms? It is understandable that her legs couldn't move after having been in coma for four years, but why could her arms move so easily then?

redbaron2000

Correction: Muscle atrophy (or entropy) is not uniform, meaning it does not effect the entire body at the same rate. Bride's legs could medically have been that atrophied but her arms could have only had very slight or no atrophy.

The Ring (2002)

Corrected entry: When Rachel has the flashback of Samara being thrown into the well, there is a black bag over her head. In the shot where Samara is in the well right after being thrown in, the bag is gone.

Correction: The bag was not tied around Samara's head so it is possible that it came off of her head as she fell.

Beetlejuice (1988)

Corrected entry: When Adam draws the chalk door, a green light is emitted when the door opens. Lydia notices the green light coming from under the attic door, though this is impossible since the light cannot travel around the corner.

Ral0618

Correction: If the entire room was filled with the green light then it would be seen inside the door.

Contact (1997)

Corrected entry: During Jodi Foster's "trip" she releases herself from her chair which eventually breaks and smashes in the sphere. This couldn't have happened during the tenths of a second of the sphere's fall without her being seriously injured, so that might be a good proof that the trip really happened.

Correction: Well, the U.S. Government knows the trip really happened, they covered it up, so it's unlikely they will let the public know that the chair broke off, it would make people ask questions.

troy fox

The Wish - S3-E9

Corrected entry: The episode, 'The Wish', is where Buffy had never come to Sunnydale and the vampires had taken over Giles knew there was a vampire problem before Cordelia shows up and tells him to call Buffy in. Giles knew about Buffy before Cordelia tells him so why didn't Giles call Buffy about the problem before it got so out of hand if he already knew of her and the problem.

Correction: The whole point of this episode is that Buffy hasn't come to Sunnydale, so obviously it would never have occured to Giles to call Buffy until Cordelia told him, or else The Wish wouldn't have done its job properly.
