Eagle Eye (2008)

Corrected entry: At the end of the film, a news voice-over says that there are no named suspects in the attack on the Blair Tunnel. There is no Blair Tunnel in the DC area. (01:48:20)

throcko

Correction: It's not a mistake to have a fictional location within a non-fictional location.

Boy Meets World (1993)

Correction: There's nothing to suggest that it's the same pig. In my family, we've had three different generations of cats that all had the same name. The new pig could actually be Little Cory II, but most people wouldn't bother saying "the second." The Simpsons have had two cats, both named Snowball.

Clockstoppers (2002)

Corrected entry: Apparently, the "speed of gravity" seems to change to accommodate both people in "hypertime" and people in normal time throughout the movie. For example, when the bad guy gets shot by the liquid nitrogen filled paintballs, he freezes and thereby gets forced back into normal time. He starts to fall backwards in hypertime, but as he cools and re-enters normal time, he stops mid-fall in the air, as seen from a hypertime perspective. However, the characters in hypertime at the moment still experience gravity at a "normal" rate.

Correction: Gravity never changes. It just seems that way because he's going directly from hyper-time to normal time.

Corrected entry: When Wendy is standing in front of the memorial a gust blows and the candle goes out. However in the previous two movies when there is a gust of wind the character dies within the next 5 minutes because the gust means Death is there. Wendy hasn't died almost an hour into the movie which doesn't follow the rules of the first two.

donkeyscommand

Correction: Or, it could have simply been the wind. Just because Death is around doesn't mean that nature stops working.

Knever

Corrected entry: When we see the ride we can tell that it has a very long line and in the several shots of the roller-coaster the train is never full. As a ride operator it is a rule that you only dispatch a full train.

donkeyscommand

Correction: Just because it's a rule doesn't mean that everybody follows it. There's also the rule of no cameras but at least two people break that. There's also the possibility that there were parties in the line that all wanted to go together and not be split up.

The Sixth Sense (1999)

Corrected entry: At the end of the film Malcolm Crowe comes down the stairs to the living room. The camera is at a low angle looking up from the living room floor toward the vestibule area at the foot of the stairs. There is a leather covered sofa and two overstuffed leather chairs crammed side by side to fit into the space. Crowe's wife is slouched in one of the chairs. The camera changes to above, the wife falls asleep and drops Crowe's ring, which now rolls over open floor boards. Where did all the furniture go?

Correction: The only furniture visible (related to this "mistake") is the couch on which she is sleeping and the couch which he sits on. There is plenty of space between them for the shot to happen and we aren't shown anything to be in between the two couches.

South Park (1997)

Cartmanland - S5-E6

Corrected entry: When Cartman goes to buy North Park Funland, he tells the owner that he is buying the theme park to keep people out so that only he can ride the rides. But wouldn't it have been better if Cartman had just told the owner to only let him enter the park, and given the owner the $1 million in order to pay for the staff and all the necessities like food, maintenance etc?

Correction: Maybe, but it's his choice to buy the park if he wants to.

Knever

Correction: It's not unusual for people to be impulsive when they receive a large sum of money. Your suggestion is very practical, however, Cartman wants to buy the park - just because he can.

Seed of Chucky (2004)

Corrected entry: Joan should have still heard Jennifer screaming when Tiffany hung up on her extension, The line would not have been disconnected because Jennifer's extension was still off the hook.

Correction: The other phone is never shown after Tiffany hangs up, so it can only be assumed that Chucky hung up the phone around the same time as Tiffany.

Bride of Chucky (1998)

Corrected entry: At the beginning, when the cop is going down the stairs, there is a flag hanging incorrectly on the wall behind the stairs. The stars of the flag should always be on the left, but the flag was vertical. I think that the cops more than anyone would have the flag right.

Correction: This could be considered a decor disaster, but does not qualify as a movie mistake. It's very possible in reality. For instance, not everyone knows how to hang a flag properly.

Bride of Chucky (1998)

Corrected entry: When Chucky is spelling woman as "B-I-T-C-H" on the spelling computer the computer voice is clearly out of sync with the letters he presses (saying "T" as he hits "I" etc.) (00:26:00)

Correction: No, it's all correct. The first three letters we see him press, and the sound is accurate. The last two are pressed while we are shown the screen, and they are also accurate. No audio problem in this scene.

Hook (1991)

Corrected entry: When Peter is being "inspected" by some of the lost boys, a little lost boy with brown curly hair says "welcome back to Neverland, Pan the Man", if you watch Robin Williams (Peter) when the little boy says this, you can see him mouthing the words. (00:57:30)

Emily

Correction: His lips are moving, but it's nowhere near what the kid is saying.

Make Love, Not Warcraft - S10-E8

Corrected entry: In the beginning, as Stan looks back to his computer after calling Randy "R-tard", the name of his character (seen on the upper-left hand corner of the screen) is 'Staniscool". But when the men from Blizzard come to give the Sword of a Thousand Truths to Stan, they refer to Stan's character as "Loves2spooge".

Thunderlord

Correction: One can have multiple characters with a single account.

The Sandlot (1993)

Corrected entry: Benny steals home at the end of the movie. When the team celebrates you can see Benny break away from his team mates and point up to the press box. But a few scenes later they show Benny doing it again in a close up.

Correction: It wasn't a few scenes later, it was two shots later. The first shot in this instance is The Jet giving a thumbs up while the camera is focused on the whole team and The Jet is out to the right. The shot cuts to Smalls in the commentator booth smiling. Then back to The Jet who is still holding the same thumbs up, which is then reciprocated by Smalls.

Rat Race (2001)

Corrected entry: Cuba screwed up an NFL game. The season runs from August. However, in the scene with Whoopi and her mother, they are talking about Mother's Day, which is in May. And she talks about shipping meaning the product is going into the store now or very soon.

Correction: Not necessarily. Scheduling conflicts can cause major losses in business, so making sure that they're perfect long in advance is just good planning.

Rat Race (2001)

Corrected entry: When the brothers meet the pierced girl, their cars line up. However, in the long shot just before, we can see that it is a two lane road. For the scene to be correct, the girls would have had to be in the head-on lane when the guys pulled up. Possible, but we can see traffic passing in the opposite direction unimpeded. If they were in the other lane, there would be honking at the very least.

Correction: It is a two-lane road, but they both go in the same direction. You can see that the dotted lines are white, which means the traffic is going in the same direction on the other side. If it were yellow, it would be the opposite.

Inception (2010)

Corrected entry: As the first layer dream was in zero-gravity (i.e: the van falling off the bridge), the second layer was also in zero-gravity (i.e: the hotel room). But the zero-gravity effect did not continue to the third layer dream (i.e: the snowy mountains).

Correction: They were not in zero-g in the first level. They were in normal gravity. That's why the van was falling. It was zero-g in the second level because their bodies felt zero-g as the van was falling. The third level was also not affected because the second level wasn't doing anything to make them feel like they were in zero-g. The van only looked like that because the filming was slowed down to remind people that dream time goes by much slower than real time. Basically, a dream level is only affected by the level directly above it.

Crank (2006)

Corrected entry: At the end of the movie where Chev is about to land on a car, if you pay close attention under the car you can see pedestrians and cars moving at a high rate of speed. And the peds on the sidewalk are not showing any reaction to Chev landing on a car.

Jeffy

Correction: The cars are driving at variable speeds as people drive like that. The pedestrians "moving at a high rate of speed" are clearly running/jogging. And the pedestrians on the right side of the screen clearly react to Chev hitting the car by staring at him during the whole time that they are in the shot.

Knever

Correction: This point is addressed earlier in that episode. Leonard explains that he can talk once they're all mingled in with males (as in the audience).

Casper (1995)

Corrected entry: It is said that ghosts don't crossover as long as they have unfinished business. This means Casper, Stretch, Fatso and Stinky should have unfinished business, but why they are present is never explained.

mightymick

Correction: I don't see how this could be considered a plot hole. It's just an element that they decided to ignore. The story is about the misadventures of a friendly ghost and some annoying ghosts. Why they're there really doesn't play a part in the theme of the movie.

Knever

That still doesn't answer the question as to what their unfinished business is which they have seen as how they haven't crossed over.

Except this wasn't posted as a question. It's listed as a plot hole, which it's not. Casper and the others have unfinished business that could be something simple as their deaths never being solved. Something not being explained doesn't make a plot hole.

Bishop73

Correction: The chain isn't what's important. It's the ring. The chain is not part of the prop.
